Since I will probably be paying for a taxi (all by myself) from the airport when I arrive I thought I would investigate the mileage from the airport to Planet Hollywood...and boy did I find out some interesting things about taxi's

believe me....I will be paying attention when the driver leaves the airport!!!!  and I will have the Nevada Taxi Authority's phone number in my cell.  I do not like to be taken advantage of.  When I went to Vegas in 2010 I am sure we spent lots more money on cab fare than we needed to.....more money to gamble with LOL

OMGOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ladies..... It is almost TIME !!!!!

I actually realized today... that I need  5 full days of clothes and shoes for many venues... soooooooooooo.. this got me to my closet...:) ........ I think I have all my cloths ready and downsized...LOL..... I even found the PINK BOOTS..hehehehehe! My joints hurt so much in the first two reunions.... and last year... I was 75% better.... and this year...... 4 years after chemo.... I AM PAIN FREE !!!! WHOOT! I am going to bring my Vera heels.... .. FINALLY!~

Anywho..... it is going to be great seeing you all again... and meeting new sisters !

GREAT TIP Linda.  I'm driving into Vegas, so if you need a ride, make a call.  So many of us will have cars.  I wont be in until the afternoon Friday, but I'm happy to give anyone a ride.

I will be arriving Thursday late afternoon....will anyone else be arriving around that time on Thursday?

Vera Hells...I mean heels....LOL.....how high?  I cannot wear heels and if I did I cannot risk falling with the osteo in my spine.  I go to see my osteo doctor next Monday.....she doesn't know I am not taking the meds...you think she will be upset with me?....hehehe....it is my body!....I might have another bone density done if she will...my insurance pays for it.

Mom, has been shopping for the past six months and she is not stopping until the day we leave.  Thank God we leave at 7:00 in the morning.  Her credit card will have time to cool down before she gets to Vegas. Yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We will have cocktails by 8:00 am on the plane. The credit card will be heating up again. 

We can't wait to see everyone in VEGAS.

I so wanted to wear some beautiful heels this year to the meet n greet. Even bought a pair, but after inserts and trying to break in around the house I had to surrender to my 52 year old feet and old fractured ankle and will be packing my more sensible 2+ heels. Sad face. My daughter came over last night and helped me pick out the pair and she said " Mom, it's not like you are going bar hoping with a bunch of 20 year old girls! You are going with a group of LADIES. So the lower heels are fine!" Talk about deflating your ego, lol!



Will Blue jeans and black t shirt be okay for Menopause and Piano Bar? I was looking over past pictures and many of us seem to be in jeans.

The Brat pack is getting in Thursday nite, but not till 8:30, then getting to hotel & checking in....will make sure I have the information for Thursday nite so we can pop by late if that is ok???   Cheryl, I've got the Cell phone card from 2010..is your cell # still the same??  We can call to see if your all still there.

I always start way to early on packing..make a list, then check it twice, then lay out everything nice !!  I have to make sure when I pack certain items that I can pull them out before they go thru the check line-my nebulizer machine, learned that one the hard way, had all packed nice & tight only to have to pull it all out to get to my breathing machine , now it's right on top with the liquids allowed!!

WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!  10 days till Vegas Ladies!!!!  VIVA LAS VEGAS, EAT,DRINK & BE PINK!!!! WE WILL SURVIVE & DANCE!!!

So excited!! Can't believe it is next week already! Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year and meeting all the new girls! I too am a different girl from the anxious one I was last year! Happy to report I am my same old self and ready to roll!! Can't wait!!!!

Don't forget your tiaras if you have one.  We wear those on Friday night dancing!  If not you can probably find a cheap pair for $10 or so which is what some of us did last year.

I blinged out a shirt for my SIL - hope she will wear it!  I added some pink stones to my Vivas Las TaTas shirt so that we would kind of match.  Got those at Michaels.

Don't know if I can fit into my dress for Friday night - have a back up plan just in case.  Just got back to Dallas after spending 5 days in  Houston and then Cedar Creek Lake.  Will be leaving here on Sunday (09/23) with just a couple of days to get ready for the trip.

Getting super excited and can't wait to see SUPER MOM!!  BTW - I don't know her real name either - just always called her mom!

I've got Boa's, I've got my Jr. Miss Tiara(but not sure if I should bring that one-got it in back in 79') but did find a cute little one at my Mom's that I can bring!! Thanx for sharing that Jancie-I didn't know  Special surprise I'm also gonna wear on Saturday nite !! Getting pink crystal ribbons on my nails,pulled all my BC Jewelry to wear,a few pins...will be decked out in PINK RIBBON STYLE!!!

I am sooooooooooo looking to be in VEGAS with you lovely Ta Ta's.  Suszie my cell no. has not changed since our first reunion.  If anyone does not have it please pm me and i will send it on.

Mom's dress code for thursday is casual dressy (jeans and a nice top). So we can save all our good clothes for when we are all together, besides she does not have the time to go shoping for another outfit, yeah right. LOL.

La Caberet has a band playing, so we can dance the night away.  This is a drink, chat and dance evening.  It should be so much fun.

Super Mom's name is Pat, but she answers to Mon always.

Friday night is usually a dressy night for the meet and greet.  Saturday we wear our Ta Ta shirts to the piano bar.  The rest of the trip is whatever you feel comfortable.  I wish I had comfy shoes, my sneakers are driving me crazy.

Getting SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! Can't wait to kick off my heels(which make me about 5 inches taller which I desperately need) and have some FUN!!! I am truly looking foward to meeting all the newbies and seeing all the oldies(but goodies)!!! Thank you EVERYONE who had a hand in this! It just goes to show that sisters get S?!$ DONE!
