Agree....
-
Hi mimi, agree with you, Hollie sounded right on pitch but does not have stage presence, neither does Jessica. Hollie, just feel she is just so young.
-
Totally agree -- would like to see some more performance from jessica and hollie.
-
I was thinking Ostrich ...
I am a Hollie fan - but that arrangement was overkill for that very young whimsical song that is done so perfectly by Pink. It's the clipped phrases that make that song...Hollie dragged them and belted them....not believable for me. She has a voice in there....just not bringing it yet. -
Joan ....I think i got my birds wrong lol
-
Sing it PP!
-
Not the greatest song for all his talent to show, but once he got going he was memoreable. Yeah PP
-
Joan love the ostrich visual, a real short ostrich. LOL
-
I'm gong to say that PP's performance wasn't his best but, I still have a bunk reserved for him in the boys room when the adoptions are finalized...lol. I'm thinking he's sharing a room with Colton.....
-
(((Seaside)))
-
Seaside, I'll be applying for visitation rights for both the boys. Trio of Josh, Jessica and Hollie was good, they do have big voices. Josh was believable in this song.
-
You gals are too funny!!! And I'm right there with you!
-
Ok... I'm thinking I know nothing about music... lol
Love that song by Gaga... Didn't love it as performed by Elise... Although the judges clearly did love it.... -
Loved Elise!! Here's my guess for bottom 3: hollie, joshua (sadly) ?. Not sure about the other one. Good night ladies!!
-
Elyse found a good song...
I think I'm liking Skylar and Phillip this week.
And I think Hollie's going.. -
YES
YES
YES
-
Michelle and Karen... If get to adopt my two guys..You all are welcome to visit my 'boys' whenever you would like....lol... So there we have it.... Let the voting begin!
-
Seaside....Did you tuck the boys in?
-
Seaside, I'm right there with you, just do not warm up to Elise, I do not like when the judges are so obvious about pushing one over another, they did it with DeAndre, J Lo did, now tonight with Joshua and Elise, I miss Simon, so often he was right on target and did not hesitate to state it. See you tomorrow, Hollie in bottom 3 again, and then Elise and Joshua. I am worried about PP, it was not his best effort. And would they use a save for him?
-
Sheila and all.. See you tomorrow! So glad to be able to watch with all of you!
-
Sheila,
Yep... All tucked in and sleeping soundly! Getting some good rest in preparation for tomorrow! -
Signing off and as much as I liked Elise I think she and possibly Joshua or PP will be bottom 3 with Hollie going home.
-
I enjoyed the show and all of your company.
Time to watch Survivor.
I did my voting.
♥
-
I don't think PP is in any real danger this week. I agree that Hollie is most likely going home.
Seaside - so sweet of you to share!!!
-
Sweet dreams PP.
-
This is for you Teka.
Good Night All ♥
-
My future son-in-law PP is 2l.
-
AI just finished in Cali!
Tonight - songs from 2010...
SKYLAR/"Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You" by Kellie PicklerDidn't catch the whole performance, but it was typical Skylar. Don't think I knew she played guitar. Sounded a bit nasally and thin - hmmmm...like Kellie Pickler?
COLTON/"I Love the Way You Lie" by Skylar Grey)
Thought he did really well....liked his almost Elton-John-ish talent on the piano and singing....the strings were a nice touch. Jimmy comparing him to Phillip Phillips? Huh? Apples and oranges. Don't get me wrong, I love PP, but by now he sounds like a one-trick pony, and Colton is SO VERSATILE!
DUET with ELISE and PHILLIP/"Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye
Well, she was the boss of him! Pitched her hissies, threw things, hit him till she got her way, then sang most of the duet herself. Funny thing was, Darren Criss and Matthew Bomar sang this on Glee last night - they were totally hot, but sadly, not E & P tonight......
JESSICA/ "Stuttering" by Jazmine Sullivan
Nice bluesy touch...a nice change from her pageant-style singing. Truly what I thought was her best performance yet! Until she started to sit back down on the piano at the end and realized it wasn't behind her where she thought it was?
JOSHUA/"Runaway" by Bruno Mars
Oooh, what his preacher dad must be thinking about that hoochie mama dancer behind him!!! Energetic, showmanship, but pitchy on that long note. Standing O from the judges...really? Oooops, Dad on stage. Ryan: "Do you approve of the go-go dancer on stage?" Dad: "I reckon...."
DUET with COLTON and SKYLAR - "Don't You Wanna Stay" by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson
Colton: "I can assure you we are not dating, and that is because she owns a gun." But they do sing well together! Liked her singing more ballad-y tonight, but those high notes were hard for her to reach, and pitchy.
HOLLIE/ "Perfect" by Pink
Nice, understated from her usual top-ten hits. Better tone to her voice, too. Dress, unfortunately, looked like it belonged on those little girls on "Dance Moms". I think this is the first HOLLIE song I really liked! Sooo....the judges made some really lame comments....and focused on her appearance! AWKWARD!
PHILLIP/ "Give a Little More" by Maroon 5
Awwww.....Phillip - I like ya, man! You're such a friendly guy, but every single song you sing sounds exactly the same, you always repeat the same stage moves (going all out and raising one leg), and it's just old by now. What did I call it? One trick pony? Randy is right. Not a "WOW" moment. More like a "ZZZZZZZZZZ" moment.
TRIO with HOLLIE, JOSHUA, and JESSICA/"Stronger" by Kelly Clarkson
Joshua - good entrance; Jessica and Hollie - WEAK! Harmonies? Yikes! And I really do like this song...waaaaa. Now it's "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You A Screamer!" Randy: "This is a great trio!" HUH?
ELISE/"You and I" by Lady Gaga
I thought she did a really good job....nice "Elise" version of Gaga's song! Strange dress, but at least it wasn't made out of meat!
-
This is the first week I have liked Joshua's song and he did a great job! Colton was phenominal. I still like Phillip to win it all but I agree with J Lo and those of you on here who said he needs to change it up a bit. But he's still got my vote!
-
I liked the performances tonight. I can hardly believe Jessica Sanchez is 16 years old.
Josh was great.
