AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

Three that I liked from the try-outs enough to write down their names (although I couldn't tell you a single thing about why..lol)... Balie Brown, Shannon Magrane and Skylar Laine.... We'll see..lol.
-
Hi bedo
Hallie Day was good but no soul touching the way Lauren Alaina did last year that girl touched my heart.
-
Woo Hoo 2 of my favs coming up next Baylie and Skylar!!!
-
Mimi, Two of my faves from auditions, too! Lets hope they really nail it!!
-
Skylar Laine knocked it out of the ball park... Baylie Brown not so much tonight and she was one of my early favs. Oh well...
-
was that Bailey? not too good, nerves got the best of her, Skyler was rocking!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Is it just me or do the judges seem to be more vocally critical tonight??
Last night DH and I were saying that we couldn't believe they seemed to be praising everyone even when the performance was a big ole ehhhhh! We thought maybe they were reining it in since it really is up to the voters...
Even though I think the performances, overall, are better tonight I think they are being a lot more critical.... -
Karen and Mimi... Agree!
-
So Tomorrow night they will eliminate 9 contestants?
-
Seaside the judges said they watched the tapes back last night and realized it was the first night and they should have not given such positive comments to everyone but they didn't go back and say who they were. That everyone was not as good as they had said. lol So yes tonight they are doing what they are suppose to do being critical and giving feedback.
-
Wow what can I say Hollie Cavanaugh!!!
-
Hollie has a very powerful voice
-
Did that voice come out of that tiny slip of a girl, WOW Hollie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
She has my vote so far.......voice...pretty....down the earth......I love it
-
Shannon is my AI ♥♥♥♥
-
Shannon was very good.
Sheila,
As far as tomorrow... not sure how many are going but, they are going to get down to the finalists (12?) plus a judge's wild card or cards.... But it's going to be a large number leaving... -
She was good didn't like her song choice! I think Sheila you and I may disagree this year
lol my fave if Skylar Laine!!! Unless I change my mind somewhere down the line.
-
They better have the medics very close. It won't be a pretty picture...........
-
It's OK Renee....The last 2 years we both wanted the same one to win and they didn't.
I love you anyway....♥
-
Yes it is but I will say this Jessica Sanchez can sang!!!! OMG~!!!!
-
I'm thinking we may just be right in that this year is going to be a long over-due female Idol.... We all can't seem to decide who we like the BEST vs last night where I was trying to find a couple I LIKED.... Love It!!!
-
And now Jessica and Elise... Wow... This is going to be a rough voting night!
-
Girls voices are very good.
Seaside....It will be more than the voice who's gonna make one of them next AI.
Assuming it's a girl.
I really enjoy those nights we watch the show together.
See you all tomorrow night......
-
That was Jessica with a sore throat, good lord how much better can she get. See you tomorrow. night night. hugs Karen
-
I agree Karen wasn't she amazing even with a sore throat?!!! I was totally shocked I may change my mind... guess we shall see as the season evolves.
-
I agree that Jessica was amazing....but I was not impressed with the girls? Maybe too many slow songs? I thought they were way better before tonight. I was disappointed.
-
East Coasters.... 10 minutes till show time!! Looks like we're going to be down to 13 after tonight!!! Yikes... That's a huge cut! I'm sure there will be lots of tears tonight....

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
by The AI Insider
SHARE THIS
On Tuesday night, we heard from the semi-finalist guys; on Wednesday, we heard from the girls - and we may have met the first female American Idol in five seasons. Chelsea Sorrell, Erika Van Pelt, Jennifer Hirsh, Brielle Von Hugel, Hallie Day, Skylar Laine, Baylie Brown, Hollie Cavanagh, Haley Johnsen, Shannon Magrane, Jessica Sanchez, and Elise Testone all performed live for your vote. According to the judges, some of the girls missed the mark: Baylie was "a little shaky," and Randy described Haley Johnsen's performance of "Sweet Dreams" as "a nightmare." But there were some triumphs too, such as when 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez received a standing ovation despite her sore throat. Which five girls are definitely safe? You'll find out Thursday night, when America's Top 10 finalists plus the judges' three wild card picks are revealed!" -
Thanks for update seaside.......
-
Is this the first year that they've had 3 wild card picks? Seems like in the past it was 6 and 6 based on voting and the judges got 1 wild card.... Hmm, I will need to check that out...
-
I don't understand the meaning of wild cards???????? Why they do it????
