Fuzzy's Romp Room

My mama dealt with that when she came out of her coma....along with chest tubes....and a dozen or so IV meds....it was so hard to tell her not to fight it because shed gag on it....
-
Fuzzy, docs try to intimidate nurse's, the key is to stand up for what you believe in and not backdown. The pretraining did me well. Even the biggest analpore of a doc couldn't get me to back down if I knew it was right. Patient advocacy was my biggest attribute, perhaps not the biggest advocate for myself in the worst times over last 3 years, but somebody mess with DH----I'd go as high as it took to get it resolved. Last one was to the CEO's office.
-
Fuzzy-that's why they look at all factors --is patient stable enough to have tube out-yes/no----yes>>out comes tube, no>>drug induced sleep.
-
fuzzy if you are staying up , I'll stay here, but I do want to write a note to Nancy, but that can wait a bit
-
Fuzzy, I'm going to write a note to Nancy, I think your gone. Have a nice sleep. Love and hugs and prayers sweetie sassy
-
Oh I'm still up....I got distracted! LOL...I started laundry, cleaned the kitchen, gave the baby puppy a bath and grooming....watered the garden....put clothes away....tried to get my new MP3 player going and that became aggravating real quick!! Not a single song downloaded yet!
oh...let me tell you...many a healthcare professional has seen my wrath. I've gone to the Board. Between my brother and I, we stayed by my mamas side for the 2 months she was in the ICU/Trama and or isolation...they didn't touch her without talking to us after one too many errors. Its kinda funny but that's where my cancer center is....I know almost every nook in that joint! -
Fuzzy I'm here
-
Fuzzy, I'm worried too, wanted to be bright a cheerfull and not saggy eyed to flirt with the guy at church, but wired about Nancy and you
-
Fuzzy wuzzy come on back-----
-
LOL! I'm back!
-
Who's this boy at church??
-
Me too, so what shal we talk about--something funny
-
probably about the guy I was going to try a contact at church tomorrow
-
Ya know....TV at night is WAY better than during the day...Bio Channel has Rob Lowe on.....yummy.
-
WHOA!!! GET EM SAS!!! HAHAAA
-
Uh oh....I may be talking to myself....I'm pretty comfortable with that: )
-
well he kept turning around all during Mass---very distracting----then the handshake of peace---turned around fully and looked right into my eyes-----then another look at coming back from communion-course i caught the looks --cuz i was looking too.-------then at the moment we could have talked I looked away----my MH counselor when I told him about it -----he grumbled.
-
Well....you know you could Just slap him across the butt one time....then eye contact really wont mean as much...LOL
-
Yeah It would be nice Fuzzy, but I don't have a clue, it's like Sleepless In Seattle, When he says I haven't been out there in X years----40 for me now. This guy is either a golfer /walker/tennisplayer. From the back perfectlegs/butt/torso---then he turns fully and he has a perfect mustache and haircut. Me I have foobs
-
SAS SAS SAS SAS sasssy sassafras SAS SAS
I'm going to call it a morning....try to shut my head down....Rob isn't keeping my attention (I like the older Rob much more than the younger version....).
Night night! Hugs and Kisses! Update me on Your Sunday Serenade if you please; ) -
basically I'm afraid too make contact.-----when do you say what ----rejection is a big deal
-

Greetings, salutations, hallucinations!
Wow, that is some very disturbing news about Nancynow's mother falling out on the street like that. I always figured that's how I'd go, only with our local Channel 13 going to film the whole thing. Nancy, whenever you get back on, you and your mother's angels were right there with her, so you will not lose her, dear one. I'm glad they pegged what was wrong right away, I think Sassy said something about a valve, hopefully she will recover uneventfully. Nancy, you are such a sweet person, I hate it that this happened to you. Thanks, Sassy, for letting all of us know. I feel like I'm on the West Coast, checkiing out the weather.
Fuzzy, I'm glad your doc is so confident. Perhaps he knows one heck of a job was done getting that boob off there and ain't no way something bad is gonna find a spot to come back! Maybe you could convince him to ultrasound it when you go in two weeks away, but maybe those things don't work that way. I surely do not know. Anyhooooo, glad you're enjoying your cycle, I really can picture you on it, and if I wasn't so afraid to ride in cars (and motorcycles) and golf carts, I'd enjoy the ride. I have to be sedated to get in a car, after my accident and all.
Sassy, I don't know if you're still up, but I'm gonna check back here in a little bit in case you wanted to connect. Nancy will be back with us soon, I'm sure. But she's all into her Mom right now. Lauren, I hear you on the friend thing, I was so disappointed when a couple girls who I thought were my friends and I wanted to see so much, they couldn't be my bridesmaids. Oh, well. Hope your headache goes away, rub your shoulders some, drink some water. Veggy, I again want to say glad you got your surgery date coming up, I know you'll be relieved to get that done. And to all my other sisters, you know I care about each and every one. Love, GG
-
Regretfully still up----apparently NOT going to try to reconnect with the guy at church. well may be he will be there next week.
-
Hey there Missy Sassy! I'm fixing to sign off from here now. I've got other places i want to check online now. Got your messages, sent you a brand new one, not to worry. I think it's really great you've got a "love interest" at church! Ya never know where you're gonna find them!
We're thinking about you, Nancynow, hope your Mom is able to talk freely now, those breathing tubes are a pain. I also hope her docs there are careful about her release and that she hooks up with her private doc soon on whatever her issues might be. Nancy, you are one of our favs here, to be sure, and I am just so shocked by this terrible thing that has happened to your family. GG
-
WowSAS, please keep us updated on Nancy's mom what a terrible thing, but thank goodness the EMTs were able to respond right away. I hope she's getting the care she needs. Sending her lots of prayers and hugs.
Granny - I think I missed the post on the get together. Let me know. I go back to work July 9th... -
Sending big HUGS to Nancy and her mom. Wish I lived closer so I could go to the hospital and sit with them. I hope to hear some good news soon. I'll be pacing the floors. I''m on the pocket bus.
-
Missing the kiddies today. My parents were kind enough to take them for the weekend after surgery, but I miss them terribly. I'm enjoying quiet time, but, man, I realize how many smiles they bring to my face every day.
Our Relay for Life is in town tonight. I'll be thinking of each of you. ((((hugs)))) -
Nancy, I've been praying for you, your mom and your family ever since I got sas's message last night. May all go well and your mother recover completely.
