Fuzzy, I'm there too. I'm the one digging the little lint puffs out of the pocket seam. We'll make you a teeny, tiny pillow while we're in there. Blessings today...
-
I woke up nauseous and with a terrible headache this morning. Took some tylenol then went back to sleep. Still have this damn headache. No to mention my iPad is on the fritz... Annoying.
Yesterday I had to deal with this old "friend" that I have. We've known each other forever and things started to go south when she got married in 2002. We were best friends. Long story short, she didn't ask me to be her maid of honor b/c I was in the twin towers on 9/11 and she didn't think I could handle it.... Then it comes time for my baby shower and she didn't want to drive the 50 miles to come b/c she never drove that far alone before (odd). We had a big falling out and were never that close again. Somehow she find out about my BMX and calls me crying she's so scared for me and thinks I'm amazing and strong and blah blah blah. She has to see me... All that bs. She's going to call,e every day, etc. that was the lasti heard from her (February) until yesterday when she saw a post of mine on Facebook. Again she's all concerned ans must come to see me and give me a hug and I'm such a string, brave person.... I've written her off BC I don't need this crap in my life. I have real friends and I know who they are
Why do people come out of the woodwork when you're sick? I just don't get it andit annoys the shit out of me... -
Oh you all crack me up! My doc is running behind so I'm just chillin'....and laughing at the pocket bus crashing through the wall and having everyone running around here!!! HaaaaaaHahahaaaa!!!
I've got everyone With me...thank you. Now...lets round up the supplies and get to Veggy!!!!
Just in...doc will see me in 2 months...common to have these pop up and its "tiny"....I'm driving home: ).....Happy....

-
Happy for you Fuzzy!!!
-
You have until the 27th to get here. Plenty of time to get everyone on the bus and party.
Fuzzy - you have been on my mind all day today. Actually the bus did crash through the wall. We've been the ones keeping the doctor busy. The bus might have hit him as we crashed through the wall. I don't think anyone was at the wheel. OOPS! Sorry!
-
Ok, 27th - ill be able to drive them. I'll get my driver hat back on and load up the bus.
Thinking of you all today. Hugs... -
Hi Fuzzy. What does the doctor say it is? Does he expect that it will disappear?

Hope no one has signed off Nancy's Mom had a "sudden death event"was revieved by bystanders .It Happened at UcLA MED office buildiing. In ICU now __Has had surgery already Nancy asking for prayers. Posting now 10:39
SK--has been at least 24 hours---she collapsed ---bystander did CPR>>doc on scene>>>ems<2 minutes>>>> revieved>>>eval'd >>or>>icu>>respirator>>>has tried to talk>>>nancy>>wrote me 4 hrs ago ,but I just signed on>>
I'm going to try everyone On my list
-
SAS. Just sent you a PM. Thanks for letting me know. Have added Nancy and her Mom to my prayers. How scary that must have been..
Cindy -
Crog didn't get your PM, but I got to every one on my list that I know that Nancy know's . Also, added her intention to the novena. Of all Friday nights, not to sign on till late, I'm usually here allot earlier.
Praying that Nancy's MOM does well, she said the doc said it was rare, but I used to teach it to paramedic students. Approximately,< 1% get the care that her Mom got. AND that's most likely going to happen in Seattle. They have the highest citizen CPR training. Doc on scene with<2 minute EMS response. Successful defibrillation on scene>transport to hospital>>eval>>then to OR for , I believe she said valve replacement. Means eval "said she was a good risk in a bad situation". That's about as good as it gets in this type of emergency taken to a hospital that has a heart program. Nancy stayed all night in the ICU with her and feels panicked, Normal response, she almost lost MOM. But if anyone can make it this woman can----Mom doesn't remember anything that happened. Normal response---frightening , but normal. Brain is protecting itself from the "situation". Wow this falls under guided for me, all factors in the right place at the right time with a strong person whose underlying health is strong enough to of taken this all. God bless them all and give them strength
-
Thanks Sas. Praying for Nancy and Nancy's mom now.
-
Sas - thanks for the longer version of that story, and thanks for letting us know. I thought it was Nancy herself! Interesting that this happened in L.A. - same thing happened to my dad, also in L.A. He had a cardiac electrical disturbance while driving through a parking lot and his heart stopped. My mom was able to shut the engine off after they had collided with 3 other cars. Passerby started CPR and called 911. He spent a week in ICU and had a ventricular pacer put in. The fact that people in L.A. saved his life restored my faith in humanity. He was 77 at the time and went on to live another 7 years before stage IV lung CA took him.
-
Dunes, I added her to the novena, but Nancy had included all families in her intention. So we have been effectively, praying for her since the beginning. I love novenas , we never how they change our life, but they do.
-
SK, Wow, citizen CPR we used to call it. All the years teaching it, and then others going on to teach it. It takes just the action of one person in the right place at the right time to know what to do. So happy for your Dad and all, But it gave your Dad seven more years that he would not of had. What a beautiful story.
-
Sk, sorry, I looked at the clock and it was 10:35----things on the boards get really quiet usually m-th by 8:30, fri. is a bit later and Sat & Sun real quiet. So, I figured I needed to type fast. Not that easy for a two finger typer that has to look at the keys even with my glasses on LOL's, But got it done.
-
Whoa whoa whoa!!!! Lauren...your a brave soul to drive our pocket bus!!! Everyone get in....we're off to Nancy's!!!!
Nancy...how you doing? Hows your mama? We're with ya sweetie!! GG...please share your magic words....Special you have been through so much!!
oh it was a fuzzinator day!! So right! I have to join a group....I'm totally addicted to it!!! This morning I had my helmet, leather coat, long pants and mittens!!! Hahaaaa!!! I need chaps....
WAAAAHAHAHAA!!! Serious though!!!
Doc seems to think its common to get little calcifications or enlarged nodes. He said its too small to biopsy....now, its not too small-its there, I can see it without touching it and its rock hard! But, I have one like it under my chin....I dunno. Would it be weird for me to say I'm good with the diagnosis? Just want to take some steps forward now....so tired of getting knocked backwards and kicked in the shins!!! Oh geez....did anyone kick boys in the shins when you were little? HAHAAAHAA. No. Me either; ) -
Fuzzy, I did----I was the protector of the three of us after polio. Someone would go after my sister or brother , they better expect to deal with me. I guess it was pre-training for patient advocacy LOL's.
Glad you said you had your helmet on..............
-
Oh it would be SO AWESOME if we could deal with people the way we did as kids!!!
Pre-training!!!! WAAAHAHA!
Is Nancy ok? -
Fuzzy, last contact, she was still at her Mom's bedside. The fact that Mom was trying to talk around the tube , very good sign. They may have taken it out already, if all other factors were stable. With cardiac patients they try and get the tube out as soon as all factors are stable.
