Latest update from Fuzzy:
"All of my blood work is normal my pain management is going really well. I accidentally lost some of my therapy drugs so we had to bump up my visit - which meant three doctors had to fit me in. But, they did and I'm so thankful for that!"

Thanks for thinking about me Lily and Gail. I had gotten kind of busy, besides fearing causing problems to others. I have wondered how many of you were doing. I'm so sad to learn Fuzzy got mets. Craziness!!!
Well, we know what ultimately brings people back here. I strongly believe mine has spread to the nodes in my clavicle and neck. The bumsps are growing huge and hurt. I also got lymphedema. That may be related to the blockage in the neck nodes. My appt is on the 20th at this point.
Can you see me doing my wild and crazy happy dance?
Dune

dunesleeper so good to see you posting ( have missed your posts and somehow lost you on Facebook). Sorry to hear about your lymphodema and the bumps that are growing and hurting. Hugs to you.
-
Hi Cindy! You probably lost me on Facebook because I killed myself off there. I cut myself off from everyone. I returned to life as Blues Jakket, though. It is so nice to "see" you -- and others I remember from back then, whenever that was.

-
LOL Ducky!
I just viewed a really cool video and came here to share the link. What do you think?
It's kind of inspirational.
-
Absolutely amazing....................
-
I'm glad you liked it, too, Ducky. I just watched it again. I like Duncan's attitude.

I am panicking a little bit inside as I have a very strange eye infection, its like an abscess and doctor says its an abscess and may well come to a head....this is completely different to anything I have ever had before and on googling it says these are more common among people with cancer so you can guess where my head is going............I have drops and creams but still worried as its swollen down to bottom of my nose!!!!!
Anyone else had this? I am having another surgery in two weeks, towards recon.......so worried my immune system is low
-
Lilly
If that was me and I was that's scared I would go for another opinion
-
THanks for replying - I can see it is an abscess, what scares me is fact I have one that is so huge inside my eyelid......is it a sign my immune system is low? Or is it a sign it is working well and getting whatever the infection or bug is out? I hate all this, I wish it could just be a normal infection without the shadow of something more sinister hanging over...........I feel ok, not ill etc.......intuition says i am ok too......BUT that damn but is hangin out in my psyche again........

I hear ua

I have my SSDI hearing on Oct. 1. I'm so anxious. My lawyer got me all
upset and threw me into a depression for a week or so, and she seriously
increased my anxiety. She kept asking about how far I could walk, how
long I could stand, etc. The real issue is the anxiety/depression, for
which I had actually called a lawyer long before any of this happened. I
was still working then, so they wouldn't take the case. The fact that I
was killing myself trying to keep working doesn't play into the
equation I guess. The cancer was the "straw" (albeit a very heavy straw)
that broke this camel's back. Has anyone been to a hearing? Any
suggestions for how I can keep the focus on the mental health issues?
