old and still cry every day, God would i need him now!!!

Luan, oh I am sorry for your loss.  I know exactly what you are going through.  It does get better but you will never forget.  I had to put Peedy to sleep June 23 of last year.  He was so sick and had a brain tumor that could not be operated on.  He was a Boston Terrier just like Baxter only he was red in color. One month later to the day Baxter was born.  My husband insisted I find another pet.

Maybe you can help with the animals at  a local kennel or rescue?  I dont know thats not as good but the animals are such little loyal guardians.   Can you have a cat where you are at?

luan,im so sorry.. i missed your post, been out of it for awhile, and not cking here.. i stayed w/out a dog for 2 yrs when my 13 yr old chiuahua died on me. my friends got so sick of me crying, they bought me another, and told me i couldn't refuse!!! so, 2 friends, at the same time gave me a girl, and a boy chiuahua...

   check and see if you couldn't get a dog that you could get certified as a service animal.. ive had BOTH of mine certified thru the fed. SARA site, and they HAVE to allow them here. we had a hard time in the beg. with the condo assoc., but nothing now. its' illegal to refuse a service animal. the Equal oppotunity called the board for me, and violia' i was approved... im just saying. its worth cking it out. pm me if ya wanna know...   3jays
