INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

Happy Birthday, Chevy! And I'm feeling okay--SE's are minimal other than fatigue. Ingrown hairs are much better after the bath and mama actually came up with using a black tea bag because the tannins draw out infection. And that would be a drinking kind of tea bag, not the other kind of "tea bag"!
Sas--before I gave up coffee, I was notorious for pushing the start button on our automatic coffee maker at work and forgetting to put the pot under the drip. I did it so many times that the drawers in our break room right under the coffee maker are permanently warped. And that retirement stuff confuses the heck out of me, too. I can retire at 55 so I think I'll keep my head buried in the sand for at least another 6 or 7 years.
Goats--bummer on the recycling. I'm kind of nutty about it myself. My city has an ordinance requiring trash compactors on all houses built after 2000 to limit landfill and they're pretty aggressive recyclers. I put a separate trash can on rollers under my sink just for recycling.
-
Rose - Enjoy your trip as soon as you can. It sounds wonderful.
The yurt sounds even better, though.
-
Our city is totally in to recycling. We have 3 cans: garbage, recycling, and yard waste which is composted. There is a fine for putting food in garbage rather than yard waste. Bus your own table places have separate bins.

Happy birthday Chevy xxoo -
Jazz, absolutely no sex in bird cage. I have had the talk with them!!!!
Sas, really , not even one cell??

-
Lol Marley, ask what your mom thinks of teabags for toothaches. The old recipes are what got us here. The cider vinegar usage for everything that ailes you, goes back several thousand years. Tea and mustard too. Many others. Orthodox/conventional medicine is only learning what was considered to them as folk medicine, has value. This time, in the future re-evaluation, will take what was good from the past and combine it with the knew. The study of the microbiome is a major beginning in looking back. Microbiome is the study of microbes --all types--bacteria, fungus, viruses that live in us, on us, and around us. Regretfully, I think the final conclusion will be OOPs. WE screwed up. It only took 50 years( 1960's and forward).

"You guys start talkin' about ONE thing, and it leads to ........well, everything else!" Chevyboy, this morning
-
I am so tired of the butterfly., but I forgot how to download images and then get them to here. When I knew what I was doing, I was changing it at a whim. Great fun. If I was trying to correct something. I was Cervantes and windmills. It was a signal. It was so much fun. Then when I wasn't chasing a dream, I'd change to something else. Then I got a virus and the memorywas wiped out of the computer. AND me.
Somebody teach me, Please.
-
Loverly, you silly girl, do you believe that the right is the right, and the left goes around, and up is below the corner?
-
I'm going to be a party pooper and go to bed. I'd help Sas, but I just can't tonite. If it can hurt, most likely does. And fibro fog too.
Nite.

-
Nighty nite, Spookie-----sleep pain free
-
Could someone help me translate what Ms. Sas just wrote? Pleazzzzzz
-
No can do Loverly for I know not what of she speaks. Maybe orderly progression which we certainly are not capable of?
-
LMG "orderly progression" Lol, what's that?
-
'orderly progression'??? Did you mean elderly progression or is she organizing???
-
Heheheh it was Spookie. Hubby said it was really tart. It tasted like cheese cake to me....go figure.
Now chocolate cake and milk that' s good!
Bah my taste buds are crappers right now. Sweet seems to sit well with me right now. Any of you have any suggestions . Salty tastes like aspirin chewed up yipyy ya yay!
-
Cute Loverly , elderly progression, something will come to bite you in the arse when you are an elder. We will pray, LETit be so.
-
Kidding Loverly, Just in a mood. Chesire cat is driving it. The original Disney Chesire cat was very much interesting to me. The recent cats----maybe not so....... but I'm the original Chesire cat
