chevy. I guess I missed the part about your neighbors organic weed problem. Isn't it legal there? Cant you just put a sign up : FREE WEED. Surely there are some stoners off for summer break who would gladly pick that yard clean. Ugh that's probably why she talks so sssslllooowww
-
Patty, the organic part that Loverly is talking about is manure from the goats. The weeds are not that WEED
-
Probably would eat the weeds and roses and anything else you didn't want them to eat. Hmm stoned goats. I think is is time for Goat Videos. Darn I can't get you tube videos to paste any longer.

Oh I know where Peppermint is going with this!!! HAAAAAAaaaaaaaah! GOOD one Miss P.! Yes, I need goats...! I swear when they got the chickens, if I heard Moooooooo's over there, I was going to say something. Goats are good though!
Lilgoats has goats.... I need to borrow hers. You know, some of the "flowers" come up when I pull on them, but that tall-grass is NOT the grass you guys know and love.... Hah! I even went out with our weeder, and it can't cut through the thick clumps of those weeds. I think I'm going to have to work at it a little more, then water it, and then dig them up....
I emailed the city.... asked them what are the rules/ code, about overgrown weeds on their property.... I don't want to "report" her.... just have them drive by, and come to a screetching halt, put on a cop uniform, draw their weapons, and ask her WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING, MISS SPARKLES?" "Come out of that kitchen, drop those muffins, and go get a shovel, you moron!"
They could add.... "Your old neighbor is over there, getting her arms all cut up, running out of breath, and all because you live in the twi-light zone, with your "wild-flowers" ! GET OUT THERE AND PULL A WEED, YOU SLACKER!

I think I just peed my pants a little Chevy
-
Patty - Amongst all the joking I sure hope to hear that you are outta that horspital soonest. Bunches of hugs coming your way.
-
I just saw a video on TV of a woman whom was giving birth in the front seat of her car, while her husband kept driving. One might wonder while she is screaming and saying "the baby is coming out" that he might not pull over and help her through that?
-
Reptile dysfunction!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

luv, Nothing has changed since the 2012 article. Did you catch that the bicycle tree is close to the 2nd 4-way stop? I can't remember if there is a traffic light there or not. If there is, it's only one. My niece lives at the tip on Maury Island. She's working at a brand new restaurant, which is amazing everyone. My sister-in-law bought us dinner there. Getting there is not cheap. The ferry ticket for the car and 3 senior citizens was $25.00. I guess it's not too bad since the return is free.
Chevy, Ask muffin girl if she grew up in Colorado. I'll bet she grew up in a state where they talk real s-l-o-w. When I was a travel agent, I discovered there is no such thing as a 3 min call to Alabama. A simple hotel reservation took at least 5 min.
I read the book about the dust bowl, The Worst Hard Time, and saw at least some of the Ken Burns PBS program. I'll have to check if it's on here. It's going to happen again and perhaps also in California. They are trying to grow things the climate can't support. I grew up in Okla and there is still plenty of dust. My job was dusting the dark wood furniture. Endless.

wren44: suddenly very alert. I'm going out to visit my father, who lives on [location redacted].
-
Tulsa.... She's from OK! Hah! My Uncle talked very slow, and they were all from Texas... My Mom was in a Tornado when she was little....
Bathtub flew out in the yard, but they were all okay.... But Colorado used to be KNOWN for dust storms... in the early 1900's... bout the time I was born... My B-day is the 31st! I'm wondering if I will FEEL any older than the 42 that I am right now.... Shut UP Spookie! Just go along with me here........... Going to get my drivers license renewed tomorrow.... "hopefully!" I wonder when they say "you're too damn old to drive lady..." ??
Man, I would hate to give that up.... So far so good! My older friend Ruthie still drives, and she is 91.... BUT her Daughter is more or less coming to move her back to Missouri to live with them.... And I'm kind of glad... She thinks it's time.... but hates to live her "home"....
I just wish sometimes that things would stay just the way they ARE... I mean like right NOW! Love you gals.... xoxoxo

Sas -- that's what I thought so I usually just go with Meniere's--it's much easier that way. If you want to get even more complicated, my dad has delayed endolymphatic hydrops. Lol.
Roses -- the Hassidic Jew with the chicken was my first thought. Glad I'm not the only one that went there.
Chevy -- thanks for the visual. I'm still laughing. And the fancy code enforcement term for that is "weed abatement" so drop that term around the muffin baker. As for the bucket-licking, not galvanized. More like rusty. Good thing I'm up on my tetanus shot.
Loverly -- so you're not really sane and just bamming the newbies?
-
Sassy - my reply to your "almonds" is coconuts lol. Where did this come from?
-
MOI???? I didn't say nuthin'. She's pickin' on me. LOL
-
lilgoats, almonds, water hungry, grown in California, major crop, rather than do the right thing, more are being planted, likely the government will pay them not to grow instead of just saying the water is turned off. Wren was talking about the dust bowl. And growing things that the climate can't support. Almonds
-
Gotcha and I was the one that started the dust bowl talk. Shoulda been paying better attention. But talk is CA is in for major rains this winter.
Patty - you under that tornado watch?
-
Sas - Monsanto will probably genetically alter them to grow with less water. The feds will subsidize them and even when the GMO's start showing that they're causing cancer, the FDA will protect them because their former attorney is now the deputy commissioner of the FDA.
-
lilgoats. Its a little above me but I had no idea. Thanks. Really need some rain though
Chevy - funny code enforcement lol. You crack me up. Whatcha gonna do for your bday? Are you already celebrating ? The reason I ask is the sky is so orange right now it looks like it is on fire ! Ithought it might be from ALL those candles on your cake. Lol. Uhh 42 times what ???? O
-
Queenmomcat, Are you really? If so, I would love to meet you for coffee or lunch if you have time. When are you planning to come?
-
Sassy, Pat me on the back. I got the reference right away. Another one: rice.

-

But for now, this is what I am hoping to hear about....

Go Patty GO ! Run Patty Run ! ....lol....wish it was that easy....
-
Patty, you haven't left the Ritz yet.? Are you enjoying their gourmet food? Oh my goodness, you need to watch the video that Goats posted. I laugh so hard at those cute goats, my younger daughter had to tell me to breathe. She thought that they were really cute, but didn't find them amusing because she felt bad for them...made me feel guilty for laughing.
Hear2day, don't listen to what Marlana said. She has not had decent sleep for a few days. Marlana, sanity is relative.
-
HiHo, could you tell Patty's medical team that she needs to go to bed and stop giving her this
