INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

You guys! I was just in PANIC MODE! See, you KNOW I had my credit card "stolen" a couple years ago.... I went through all KINDS of stuff to get that taken care of.... Even the identity theft thing..... SOooooooooooo.... I was trying to pay for 2 pairs of Sketchers for my younger DD and I, and my Credit Card would not go through! I had used it at a perfume place, not even 15 minutes earlier.... BUT when I tried to charge $79 dollars worth, it was BLOCKED! But I had cash...
So then I THOUGHT that maybe they did that as a precaution...
But when I just now tried to pay my Sprint bill on-line.... SAME THING happened!
So I called my credit union, and sure 'nuff.... they had stopped my card! THAT is so good in a way.... And she would un-do all the problem.... I guess when I plan another trip I have to call the CU and tell them I am leaving... so not to fret when they see a charge...
THEN we bought one of those little infra-red heaters at Super Walmart....! I could NOT get it to turn ON! AND I could NOT find the receipt! So as I was boxing it up again, I saw a switch in BACK, that said "off and "on"..... I mean, how hard can that BE? The remote couldn't even turn the darned thing on.... But I turned on the switch, and it is working very well, so far!
2 Catastrophies averted! Now I' m happy!
Would YOU gals please let me know who would like an official pole dancin' boa, or scarf? I made them, with my own 2 hands, and I will mail you one, if you WANT one....
DD's think I should take them to the old folks home, but I would rather give them away to gals I "know" and care about.... Okay? So send me a PM, with your address, and I will give you one.... xoxoxoxo

AZ LOLOLOLOLOL. Glad you are here. Had to check twice to see where I was. Mags was dropping by and Alive was here too. But now isn't. It'd be great to have you all. All we would need is Julie too
Quite a few newbies on W&F's
Chevy, that happened to me once too. I called and then they unfroze it. Embarrassing though when it happens. Consider April for your visits. April in Florida is the best month of the year
Low humidity, storms are rare. Smarrty's taking her cruise in November. November is probably the next most dependable month. I never made it to the outlets. May have too. I love Bass shoes. DD's pic collection iss really cute. I could follow it even. Her dog--pickles? Forget name, very cute. What is he? Reminds of Astor from the thin man
Tang yoohoooooo Love you ---pop back in when you can.
Enerva, our daredevil girl YAY. How nice you love your bike thingys.
Spookie I'm definitely using OMD from now on. Always felt like I was swearing when I said OMG. OMD doesn't make me feel that way.
Mommy, are you less bored? I see you have been on W & F's ---go girl, we need the laughs

Hi nettie.
3rd, sounds like things are better now.
Garden Waving
I've missed some ---sorry ,
22222222222 thanks for doing the roll call, it's helped

DBF's car is running. The thing he tried to fix isn't fixed, but at least the car is moving.
-
OH yes Chevy , your guys are gorgeous
Cami, miss you
-
Hi all...
Haven't posted in awhile. Don't know if I commented on the Florida pic but it was so nice to put a picture with a face. You all look great. And Chevy, the red heels you posted are really cool. I could never wear them, but you could dance the night away in them.
Thanks for the roll call list 2nd, lots of people on this thread.
Enerva, so glad you're doing lots better and got to ride your bike.
Hi to the newbies.....
-
i'm still lurking - i do love this thread....

Morning gals! I printed off those
pictures DD sent.... It was 7 PAGES! Ha!And each one means something... The picture of
Rosemary... well on our last morning there, they took us to this place called
HASH HOUSE A GO GO.... It is on International Drive in
Orlando...THEY serve this HUGE plate full of either these homemade
biscuits and homemade gravy, topped with an enormous piece of fried Chicken, OR
on top of a monster waffle topped with syrup! And every plate comes with a
Rosemary sprig... So when we got back to Sheri's house, I picked a bunch of
Rosemary.... now I don't know what to DO with it, but I have it just in
case.I have never seen so much food in my life on one plate!
That tractor is just inside the front door! I'm so glad we got to SEE this
place! We couldn't eat all the food, but they all took it home
for later, because we had to catch our flight...And that Chef, Guy Fieri was on TV, broadcasting from
Denver, in our neighborhood, while we were in Orlando, so that was fun watching
him.We had that Tiramisu one night... from Costco... and her
85 year old neighbor Giacomo made a big bowl of Shrimp, that we ate for 3
days. The Saturday Nite Cruise in Old Town was the BEST! All
the shops, and people, and we ate at A&W that night! Just like when we
were "Going Steady" in 1955-56!Well, y'all know Starbucks and Walmart, Publix and
Costco!We celebrated our Grand-son Chase's B-day one night, along
with DD's belated B-day... She was born a week before our 1st wedding
Anniversay, AND our 57 Anniversary was celebrated all in one
night.Sheri gave her "little" Sister her old "little-kiddle"
doll she found that she had kept ever since they were just kids!
..And Sass! Her dog's name is Penny-Lane! They call her
everything from "Pinks, Peebers, Peepers, and she is a mix of something... Ha!
She was rescued by their Son, and HIS dog and her LOVE playing
together.CAMMI! I HAVE to behave.... too many people around that
would report me... Ha, ha!So hello to you too Nettie... ! Thanks HIHo! You
played Tennis? Now THAT is hair-raising! Isn't that on cement or something?
But congratulations! That IS a great accomplishment. I have never played
Tennis... DD did, when she was here... I still have her silver platters she
won from competing with her friends...Morning Mom2! Yes, our first dog, "Chevy" used to try
and herd our GSons when they were little... Ha! He thought they were HIS when
they were born! Wouldn't let anyone near them, except me and their Mom! He
would even snap at their Dad when he tried to pick them up... I LOVED those
days! Just wish I could go back to "then" sometimes!Hi JWow! Your picture is sooo cute! It reminds me of
Lucy Lu! Or whatever her name is....Morning GG! Miss you too! And 22222222222! What was
THAT? A Drive By post? Ha!AZ.... Now what kind of name is that? I can't remember
your numbers... Is that your zip code or something? Can I just call you
Phoenix or something? I'm so glad you are here.... I love your pictures!
You fit right IN here! I really like the PARENTHOOD one....! So
funny! That is so funny, about the marry the cow one! I had SEEN
that one, but was afraid to POST it.... Ha, ha! Can't believe I was at one
time sort of "reserved".... but then neither can anyone ELSE on here....SASS! Okay, so yesterday, to add to my woes.... I broke
my car door handle! All I was trying to do is open the door! But it broke!
Damn thing just BROKE! I was in a quandary... But I saw where it "came out" of
some part, so I got it back in, and now I have to be careful, because it IS NOT
FIXED!BUT THAT IS JUST MORE INCENTIVE TO GO GET ANOTHER CAR!
And I am going to look online.... but I'm afraid to go to Craigs-list or
AutoTrader.com.... I just want to go to a place... and not have those other
problems or meet some dangerous felon or something... someone who would attack
me....Okay.... Maybe I'll go meet someone....
LittlePaws... I could not wear those shoes either... I
couldn't even try them on! And for SURE I couldn't stand UP in them...! But I
just had to have a picture with them.Spookie wears those shoes.... she is a loose woman....
she is what you would say a wild woman.... like Sassy is.... I"M the quiet
one......
Hi MoMom! That is so true.... about "healing".... We
will ALL be there someday! -
Aw Sassy, just because I've been able to sleep for a few nights does NOT mean that I've deserted you! I still read everything and sometimes I just don't have anything to say. But just so you don't think I've forgotten you, I will leave you with something.

-
Mags, that could be me this morning! Last night was awful!!Good morning all!!
Chevy, I love the stories and pics of your trip! Can't wait for the 12th, heading out for a much needed vacation myself!
-
Oh Chevy, falling out door handles. Of course buy a new car. Perfect solution. BTW the hip pain caused by Prius has been gone for weeks. Knew it would go away, just needed time. It was VERY expensive car seat that came with the van..Smarrty, I bought a new scales. The med I'm on for the eczema is causing weight gain too, besides the hypothyroid. Have to slow this down someway.
I have an instinct that if we PM or do a YooHoo Tang will magically appear
OH Mags and MM YAY
-
Got my first Halloween decoration up today! It was the craft project I started last year and I finally got it done and put together!
-
Okay, so now Mom2.... You have to take a picture!
Yes Sass...I don't think I want a "new" car.... just a newer one, and one with an AUTOMATIC..... Ha! It's hard to use a clutch AND because I can't HEAR too well, I have a hard time knowing when the engine is revving.... The clutch is okay, because my hip is better, with the clutch, but if I had a NORMAL persons hearing I would know when to shift.... I'm just a DUD!
Thanks Nettie....! Hope you are feeling better.....Where are you headed to on your vacation?
-
I saw Tang on another thread, asked if she was doing ok, she said yes.
Uh, SPOOKIE and Kris would think those shoes were toys.
-
Hey everyone
I'm still here, I just took a break and got pissy at someone on another thread. I'm here though...I just can't quit ya'll! lolChevy-you have some handsome men in your family

looks like some new ones are around hello! Is cami okay?
Sassy ((hugs))
