I'm so far behind, I'm sorry.

OK I'll say it Chevy are  beautiful---really and thanks for explaining the pillow, cuz beauty doesn't always mean u can wear silly hats.

Eating thes things from animals sounds disgusting to me, but people do this so...

And markers, again all these letters and all of this mammo talk makes me cringe, even tho I don't know what they all are.

I;m still dragging from yesterday which was great, good weather, good food and 50 hiding in the kitchen and my sister and BIL were truly surprised and it was fun. I was one of the last to leave, then I worked today and I'm not seeing straight yet--but the party was worth it. so it takes me a while to feel decent again cuz everything hurts and swllen like crazy Just so u know OK????

Good Morning gals. I've been up for a while, but I took a shower and washed clothes and of course I smell like Pink sugar, so I smell good and I made my own coffee. So right now I have some energy. In 2 hrs. I will e taking a nap.

How is everyone this morning? I hope everyone's day starts really good and stays that way.

I talked to one of my nieces yesterday and talked over the party for her mom and everyone raved to them, so we had an old fashion Rave party, I guess. And so far I haven't taken any pain meds, which always makes me happy.

I had a wonderful alone time with Joey last night we discussed so many things, like DNA, Heritage--chit I have to start reading for our conversations. But they can get interesting. Why is my whole family crazy but me? Oh well.

Yes, Susan, DOES go with my job...image

Nettie...  so loved you on your lovely John Deere tractor, or whatever you called it...    Post more pictures  so we can see what a REAL woman does... Ha!

So Cammi, you DON'T have to say it, but I'm feelin' so good that you did!  I already HAVE your picture, so I KNOW you are mostly fabulous also!

You are cringing?  Boy, doesn't take much, does it?   And glad you enjoyed yourself at party with fam!

Thank you Blessings...  So are you!

YOU guys are MY  Magical" friends...!  Smarty, that was good!  I feel so sorry for people I know, or family that never go out to lunch with a friend, or just want to be around anybody!   I have a couple SIL's that are like that... I guess they just revert to wanting to be around their own, or just don't want to have fun anymore...

So Cammi again?  Shower eh?  I can smell you from HERE!  You smell most lovely!

    Good morning, all  Nerdy

I haven't posted much but that's because after 5 years on Arimidex and one year off the drug, I am getting some energy back and have been gardening my little heart out.  I hope everyone is well rested and has a wonderful day.

HoleinOne, what a lovely image of you wandering the beach picking up sand dollars! Thanks for my mini vacation!  I love the beach after all the crowds go home and you can truly appreciate the crash of the waves and nature.

luvmygoats, you are making me hungry for dinner and it's only 10 am!  I just saw a snake the other day too. We were out walking and my husband yelled, "STOP" and I was annoyed because the mosquitoes were bad and I looked down and all I saw were mosquitoes trying to land on my leg. Three inches to the right of my foot was a snake that didn't move. Had to get a stick and shoo it away. It was a bit too dark to really see what kind. We occasionally get black widow spiders here and that makes me nuts! They are always in some dusty obscure place like an empty feed can. I try not to kill things but if you look like a black widow it's curtains for you. I don't even look for the hourglass anymore.

Cammi smells like pink sugar? How does pink sugar differ from white sugar? Or red or green sugar? Is it magical? It must be because beautiful Chevy with the bow on her head can smell her miles away. I want to smell like pink sugar! Right now I smell like dryer dust!  Does anyone remember Loves's Baby Soft?  I loved that smell when I was a teenager.

Susan, loved the foal picture! When I was a veterinary nurse I had to do foal sitting on occasion at University of Penn's New Bolton Large Animal hospital. The foals were so cute and peaceful. Of course occasionally a mom horse would try to stamp your brains out because she didn't like you hovering over her baby, but it came with the territory.

Just don't know what to say....just been feeling really rotten!  And of course, when that starts, the brain immediately derails to the "bad" place!!  Just can't seem to shake it, don't know what's up, but I do know I have GOT to find some way to get some relief for the hurting!  And please, I know everyone will probably say get some pain meds, but I can't take them!  I am taking Aleve and Advil and Tylenol, not all at once, but trying different ones at different times to see if I can get relief, but so far, no go!  I'm up and at it, I'm working everyday, with a smile on my face, and I put on the brave front for everyone, but when I'm alone, it's crying time because I feel so bad!

This is just ridiculous, I've got to pull myself out of this funk!  Got to find the cause behind the pains or I'm going to drive myself insane with worry!  Just never thought I'd have to insist on some test...usually the doctors are all to ready to order up test, but not for me, nope, they want me to take their word that all is fine!

    Oh, well..rant over!

sorry Nettie,  I don't remember, do you have an exact spot of pain or is it that all over yuck that when u bump into something it feels like the house just fell on you??

And sorry you can't take pain meds...I get so much relief from them. A tramadol Vicodin combo just once a day gets me throughout till the eve, and then I just moan until the next day. I am allergic to Advil and those kind of things so I have to do the narcs. And for me, they also give me energy. The doc just shakes his head and says....just like the football players.......

I wish i knew of some magic pill that could take your pain away. I cry to when I can't get control over it. Or I get really crabby, which puts everyone else in pain.

Prayers and hugs sent your way

Nettie, Is finding a new doc an option? I know someone from another thread who is getting relief from acupuncture after years of pain. She can't take pain meds either.

Thanks Susan and Wren!  Susan, I have tendonitis in my left arm that is just horrible!  and then I have the pain in my upper back and sciatica in my left hip and leg!  It's the sciatica that keeps me up at night just adding to the misery!  It's a train wreck!  No sleep = decrease in tolerance = makes pain more unbearable = makes me a grumpy nervous wreck!!

Wren, I've thought about acupuncture, but two things, I would have to travel in order to get it and I would first like to be sure the pain is not mets!  And I'm on my 3rd, PCP!!!  Makes me feel like a hypochondriac when they all say "your fine"!  When I know d**m well I'm hurting!

Nettie.... Is it Arthritis?  Is that what they have told you?  I mean if I still had pain, even after taking those meds, I would go back somewhere and insist  on a complete work-up and have them tell you exactly what is wrong.... You have to do something "different" if what you are doing is not working...

Can you take what Susan said?  I mean have you tried it?  Maybe one medication will work different on you.... Just don't accept what is happening to you, without trying all options....  You can't go along always hurting...

Maybe even what Spookie said?  I mean ANYTHING is worth a try...  If your Doc's aren't helping, they either aren't listening, or not following through with you, and trying to get to the bottom of it.

Nettie - agreed if what you are doing is not working you gotta try something else. Chronic pain SUCKS! It control your whole life. I know from experience.  Although I am still fighting this damn pain I keep trying new things. Sonething has got to work. Maybe a psin specialist ( I think someone already mentioned this ) could help. I thought pain mgmt dr just gave out pain med but not so. I see an interventionalist radiologist.  Keep trying. Bummer you can't take pain med. right now that's what gets me thru the day.

Chevy you are beautiful. So you get this idea of what someone looks like in your head but it's fun to actually see a pic. Since you talk about your  age , I pictured you to look a lot , lot older. But you are beautiful.  Look like a young hottie.  You go Chevy !!!

Nettie, my hubby,   Now I don't know what u call this thing, but he had tendinitis in elbow, and he got this band sort of thing with a hard ball sort of thing on it. And u put the Velcro band thingy on the tendinitis spot with the ball thingy at , I think the biggest point of pain....and it worked.  Now if you can figure out what I just said......u can get one of these things...I think like at a drug store. We couldn't believe it worked.  We have an inversion table that helps our upper backs....and hubby also has/had hip sciatica stuff. Just got through with steroid shots to lower back area, and he is about 80% better.  It was sooooo sad watching him when he finally went to sleep. Even though he would, at some point, fall asleep, the side of his body that hurt would twitch and jump and be all crazy, it never would relax.  I bet that is happening to you to. If you don't fall asleep, your body is going to hurt more the next day...and if you fall asleep, and your body doesn't rest, you are still going to feel lousy the next day.

Hope you can eventually get to the bottom of it....I think sometimes we need to crawl Into the doctors office for them to start listening.......good luck...and go get that thingy...lol

Susan great idea, it is a tennis elbow strap. It pushes the tendon, muscle ? I have worn one for 20 years while hitting the tennis ball. They are very easy to find. Walgreens, Walmart, big Five.

Also Nettie, if your sciatica is hurting, lay on the floor and gently bring your knees to your chest. Get online and they have great stretches for sciatica pain.

I had mine pinched years ago, takes time to heal but stretching really helps.

Oh Chevy u'r girls have the bravery u do--Wow did u teach them--wonderful pic.

And another bunch of pics--u girls are great.

Oh Nettie u poor thing I can't believe these Doc, are not helping u more--Now if u'r talking to u'r Onc. that's a big difference xuz if they don't think it's cancer it does not concern them like u think it would beside they don't really know much about other stuff. U have to see the right type of specialist. Have u gone to u'r primary and talked about this, it is so tiring to be in pain, it knocks u out. The only painmeds I can tolerate are tylonal #4 with codeine they are not as strong as the others but they help. U have to get help ASAP from some type of Dr. There are so many reasons to have all these pains and it doesn't have to be cancer--but from all u'r body has been thru. We just want u to feel better. All the girls have good ideas and find out if u can see another type of Doc. maybe it will help. Have u had a bone density and all those other bones things. I hope someone gets to the bottom of this cuz u know how u feel.
