Tang never worry about letting it out. Just wish there were answers. Well there are ANSWERS, but no consensus on how to manage seromas. A doc makes a choice , then we live with it. They can be very painful. I don't think the doc gets that? Between AI's, seroma, and pectorals expanding, I ended up on multiple drugs to control pain. Thank God for PCP.If the seroma had been elsewhere I would have done things differently. Seromas in other body areas can use warm moist heat. I was afraid to do that b/c of where it was. Ask the doc about this?

$44444444 your 12 y/o sounds pretty normal. Hopefully, puberty will kick in soon. LOL. I only had the one. But always heard the phrase "that you only have them until they are 18". Mine went in the bedroom about 12 and came out at 18. Had to check with the rest of the moms. He was just like his friends. Not sure how life was before they had TV's in their rooms and video games. OH yeah, we went out and did things. Some Mom & Dad wouldn't of approved of at all.
The pictures were very fun today
I've been a slug for the last two days---If this is Tuesday --yes, then it's been two days.
Going to get referral to MOFFIT cancer center in Tampa. Already wrote a doc. A woman. Wish I had copied the post for here. You would have thought it funny, but on mark. Told her I felt my care was fractured-----too many docs with their own body part, markers, tests. Asked her to consider looking at me as a total person(what a novel idea). Making a plan that all the docs here can follow. Told her I needed an alpha dog(should have said wolf).

Had a good day today. Stayed up til 3 am reading (sorry, didn't post here...) then slept til 11 and got up and went to water aerobics at the hospital.
Ran into a woman I met almost two years ago... she had just been diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer, and had just joined the Kaiser weight loss program I was in to try to lose a significant amount of weight before they did surgery. She had no kidney symptoms whatsoever before the tumor was found. She said that she was having an MRI for a back problem when they saw the "cyst" on her kidney.
Her surgery and recovery was very difficult, and Kaiser had sent her out of town to a specialist surgeon. It was definitely cancer - one they had not seen before. But the surgery got it all. She did not need chemo.
Today she looked great - has kept most of her weight off, is able to finally get around without her walker, and even better, all her tests are normal. We did a little flutter-kick celebration underwater.
Came home from swim class, ate way too many carbs for lunch, then finished up the last load of MIL's clothes to donate. Right now they are in stacks out in my living room. I still have to photograph them and list them for FIL's charitable donation.
Tomorrow night is a butterfly release for all the people who passed last year. It's being put on by the nursing home MIL was in, and the hospice that is associated with it. I have mixed feelings. It's almost like animal cruelty... it's supposed to be 105 here tomorrow... those poor butterflies will probably just lie there gasping for breath.
I made a scrapbook for FIL - put in all the pictures we took at Mom's service, along with some nice mementos. I'll take more pics tomorrow night, unless it's just butterfly carnage.
Big hugs to all my Owlette Sistahs!!!

A few months ago at the Home Show at the fairgrounds, they had the Butterfly Exhibit in one of the buildings. It was FILLED with a gazillion Monarch and Painted Lady butterflies, and you could take a Q-tip, dip it in nectar, and the butterflies would land on it and take a drink.

Blessings what a beautiful idea for the butterflies but yea if it's to hot who knows, poor things--and how nice that u separated the clothes too, lots of work. When my mom died my sister and I waited about 1 yr to go thru her things and my mom made sure before everything was clean and we could do what we wanted with them --my brother wanted to take them to his church (which was nice and close by)my mom was lucky and had beautiful clothes but my sister and I decided to give them all to a neighbor who was going to send them to Italy--because we didn't want to see them on anyone around town. My brother thought we were goofy.
Susan u really have everything down good. Now u have to go to chemo and I really hope the hot work for u'r DH so he can feel better, in case u need him--Hope it goes easy on you.

Arvada Police Department, Colorado
May 12Animal Management received a call about five goslings and their parents cross Ward Rd today from King Soopers to Meadowlake with the assistance of Police Officers Blackwood and Brown. The staff at King Soopers had made a shelter for the goose nest, but the family was restless and on the move toward water today! Good job, team!Mama & Papa Goose were headed out into the parking lot, but the folks at Kings called Animal Control, and they were "Escorted" by animal control and Arvada Police across busy Ward Road! Traffic was stopped, and the little baby geese kept falling down, because they had only been born the day before!
Last check, yesterday, they were all together by the Lake! Along with aNOTHER Goose family! Anyway it was a happy ending!
-
Okay, now that all the Geese are taken care of, I can quit worrying, Ha! You can see snow along the sides of the road in that last picture.... DD said some of the drivers that were stopped, got out and were taking pictures of the "goose crossing!" One of the Animal Control gals picked up the Papa Goose, because he was headed the wrong way, but she got him going the RIGHT way.... He was "yelling" the whole time! Probably didn't ask for directions!
Going to breakfast this morning with my "older" friends! I mean ONE gal is 90!!! And she looks and acts like she is maybe only 60! It's only 33 degrees out right now, but supposed to warm up for awhile, and hopefully I can quit covering my plants at night!

Good Morning Owlettes!!!

Good Morning Girls!!
Hoping everyone is having a good, less pain and stress filled day.
Don't have time to get personal, sorry. Field Day at school for the almost 12 year old and since I am going to miss his "graduation" walk of honor next week, I thought I should go. Mind you this is the kid that I applied and got into a free summer camp for kids that have had a parent/caregiver with cancer. He writes on his letter to the counselor..... I am coming to camp because...(fill in blank)...My mom is forcing me to! Lil Chit!!
Yes it will get better! If one or the other of us doesn't run screaming for the hills first!!! I am spoiled my two slightly older boys never went through it this bad.
OK, thinking about and praying for all you lovely ladies! Especially those that need a little extra boost!
Have a great Humpty Day! Personally I think I might even be officially too tired to hump!!
-
Sas! Moffitt!!!! Go for the best!!! Let me know, I hear lunch or dinner calling! Plus you can check out DSs new place.

OK. I really am leaving now. I would much rather stay and play!
-
good morning Owlettes!
Love the butterflies, geese, and coffee slug!
444444Sew, good luck today!
-
Morning all..
Chabba, you ok ? Pain go away ? Hope you were able to get some answers.
Jwoo, did the cloud lift? Better skies ahead? You never complain, so, when you suggest a storm, ya got me worried.
Blessing, I went to a wedding years ago. They had the butterflies in the envelopes. It was too cold, we were in the mts. The butterflies could not fly, fell to the ground, struggling. The wedding party was going down the aisle, stepped on some. A pair of sisters, around 10, 12 started screaming, you are killing the butterflies! It was sad, but memorable.
My WBC was low. MO said she thinks I just have low WBC, it was very low, before my first chemo tx. Platelets normal. So, I will try not to think about it. She also told me to yank the port if I want.
4sew, today the appt.? Let us know.
