INSOMNIACS place to talk in the wee hours

It's the age old saying for me today "Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just found out from DS that some of my issues could be from the mega doses of Decadron given during chemo! Go figure!! More side effects from the treatment that I had to take!! Well I guess I didn't "have" to take it, but what was the alternative???
Guess I should go research what Decadron can do to me!!
I could NEVER be inside one of those ball thingys - I'm much to claustrophic! But they do look fun! I have to psych myself up just to ride in an elevator!
-
Nettie, Decadron-----think of these words when studying the drug
-----speed, flying without a plane, 3 pots of coffee and that was just in the last few hours, talking non-stop for hours and hours, up for 24-36 hours in a row, awake and no one's on Insomnia thread.
Nettie BTW go back a few posts and find my post to you. I think it will have you laughing. I hope

Oh Sassy You're so right. It was Chrissy B's daughter's wedding. I can still see the barn and the tables in the room. I told Mary to see if she could find pics of "As the World Turns" barn weddings, Christmases. They were famous for using them.
-
LMG's ChrissyB Dd wedding was beautiful. Chrissy had done all the tables and made the dreamcatchers. I'll get the link
-
Oh I remember both weddings and Mary made us laugh thru the whole prep for it, cuz of cowgirl boots. And we took it from there--we all had a good time with her wedding prep, and Chrissy was totally making everything and turned out beautiful.
Hey I would mind the balls (shut up Chevy) if I just layed down and rolled, it would be easier than walking but u guys would make sure we went the scenic route and would make sure we could look down at the surroundings-Yikes an accident right? Forget about it. Don't fall for this Chevy, they think they can get rid of us and the headline would be-----Virginal bubble ladies, break their bubbles.--Chevy and I are way to smart for that. Well now way to smart, but we're not that stupid, maybe.
OK I see my new Urologist at the end of the month--I'm on my anti-biotics now so it can wait--it's the most convenient place from here at the hospital and the one Dr. was reading about her and said she went to Harvard, Yea probably Harvard, Samoa but I told her if she really went to Harvard then my original Dr. can be in the dust, she laughed but I meant it. She just used her medical terms of to much stuff in my urine and it's not good hahaha plus an infection (bacteria)--I love when they speak medical talk.
-
Cami, Yay knew doc..............Yes, Mary's talk of the wedding in the barn was hilarious from the first post about it, until the wedding was over.
-
Oh I remember "down Low" Ice T was talking to one of the detectives and used that term and they said like what and he kind of explained it and used it when he was talking to a suspect--U think I watch enough TV.?
Yes I have another d. but it's a GIST--u remember CardioloGIST, oncoloGIST etc, now a uroloGIST
=so we'll see
-
I need one o' them big clear balls when I go to Walmart....
-
when we had a hampster...I don't think he liked that ball. I am sure he kept thinking he would eventually get out of it if he ran enough. I feel I would be the hampster...no balls for me thank you .
Now a jet pack would be cool
-
Everyone hears that--SUSAN WANTS NO BALLS----
-
Schucks I hate it when the page turns and something of interest happens
We left off with Susan saying "no balls for her, thank you"
Cami saying "Everyone hears that--SUSAN WANTS NO BALLS----"
Sassy said "This should be interesting. Wait till Chevy and ZIggy get a HOLD on that one"
Let's see where this goes. Hope it doesn't splatter all over the place.
-
to clarify...you girls ...there are a couple balls I like...I don't think that is a statement that needs clarification. Now large balls can be a problem...those you can't get away from...lol
-
Oh boy, I think they're still going to run with this. You can't run away from large balls and it's difficult to run with large balls.
-
boy did I set them up good or what...lol
-
Rofl Susan, you sure did..... and I may never get that image out of my head.
Chevy - yes they can connect the stim to my ankle monitor....and it turns me into a WiFi hotspot!

WTH? You GUYS! Are you talking about what I THINK you are talking about, or those Huge BALLS Cammi wants no part of? Those remind me of going in the FUN HOUSE at Lakeside Amusement park when I was young! Scary kinds of rides those were! And I loved it! That huge flat platter wheel thing, that when it was off, everyone scrambled to get in to the center.... THEN they turned it on, and it SPUN your brains off, and everyone went sliding off! Except the ones in the center!!! It was so damn fun! And then walking through those huge turning barrels! Each one was turning the opposite way! And then the MONKEY CAGE! OMG that was awful! You do NOT want to eat before you get in that thing.... You stand up against the walls of this spinning cage.... until you throw up! Honest to GOD that thing was horrendous!
My Brother and I used to sneak in there.... But we saved our money to ride our favorite rides! They each cost about a dime, I would think!
Now what were you talking about? Oh well.... BBtomorrow! xoxoxoxo
-
It's kind of blurry... but I googled this picture!
-
What is going on? I leave for a little while and when I get back all the sudden Hi-ho and 4-so are planning to have chevy and cami ROLLIN' IN BALLS and susan, well chit, okay then, at the partay Susan, you can shower with cami 'cause she likes that. And blessing's going out to roll in balls in WALMART!... geez. Sassypants, you and I are the only sane ones here. And, no, I'm not holding any balls at the moment either. How is it that you all manage to get yourselves in so much trouble? Huh? And as for the SNAKE... NO SNAKE, chevy. I will kick you in the hip and throw you on an escalator, for reals. NO SNAKE. YOu can bring a worm if you want... in a cage. I am going away now.. this is all just a little much trying to keep you people in line.
-
Chev - please do NOT post any more pics of slugs. Criminy! That is so gross that I barfed a little. Now I'm looking for a ball so no slugs get on me. Ugh! (and barf)
-
Thanks hole
Yep morophine at home
Everything is good on my week off
-
OK I have a question how would u know how big the balls are unless u see them, now what's to big for one maybe not be big for another so Susan how will u decide. ? Look at all of them or just a few? U have to look at them 2 at a time, cuz as u saw they come in pairs.
-
I think I am going to bed..maybe some sleeping pills to help..and maybe I should stare at the sun to burn the retinas to get the images out of my mind...who started this anyway......oh yeah..that was me. I think a need a editor for my next posts. Balls or snakes in the dog house...that is the question
-
ROTFLOL
-
Susan u started all of this we just followed u know us by now--Sas has corrupted (and miss innocent Chevy too) our chemo brains to have no filters. Especially at my age.
-
Well that certainly is entertaining. Balls and snakes and slugs and new doctors.
And yes I'm always behind in the lingo, always saying things I shouldn't...But who cares...I have an excuse. Lol
My daughter called me out this weekend in something I said. Oh well..I'm old...who cares.
I was told by my massage guy that I need to train my brain not to focus on my pain...he was not being insulting..I really like him and understood what he was saying...so I'm working on it. He said due to all I have been through, my brain is telling my body that the pain is really bad when actually it isn't. Go figure on that one..But it seems to help.
Off to watch the blacklist..
Good Night owls.
-
Susan, This is such a bunch of scaredy cats. I'll take care of the snake while you're in the dog house. My DD had one too. I saw an ad in the paper once: "Free gerbils. Snakes OK". Now there is someone overrun with gerbils.
-
thanks wren..he can feel,the love
-
We may be scaredy cats , but we did establish that we all have a different opinion on balls that would be inclusive of number, size,...other identifying characteristics I don't think were mentioned, like football versus soccer versus basket or baseball.
-
Speaking of.... Can you guess why one is unhappy?
Chevy once told us about the "Willy Warmers" she crochets. Not to be confused with the Willie from Colorado!
