teddy (blue) and dolly. Very loud these days. I think they know it's mating season, and they can't in captivity
-
and then there is the snake. A corn snake named tungsten . Long story..lol
-
my daughters wedding in my girlfriends backyard in July . Such a perfect day
-
daughter and new son-in law . Hope that entertained you for awhile sas. Or just bored you ! But I sure am having fun with this new find !
-
Wren, it is so cool, it quickens the heart to see something. Then have your hand on it, before someone else.
Fiesta ware is so much fun. The colors . I'll keep my eye open. It gives me a reason to go to a section I don't normally go to unless, I'm looking for myself or someone else
The Orchard Jewels by Studio Nova a sub of Mikasa. That was a total steal @ 24 pieces 25 dollars.

I forgot I got my second Mattress Factory wall hugger electric vibrating bed from the Spca thrift. As soon as I saw the remote, it was MINE. I sat on the bed and asked if someone would get the manager. Hoping someone wasn't already talking to them. LOL as If I was sitting on it "that was possession" --funny me.
We had one . DH didn't want one. But I kept catching him taking a nap on mine. Said let's just do it. My bed was 1825.00 My thrift bed same make, manufacture, no wear, damage or soil. 125.00

Oh Susan what a beautiful DD and SIL. Okay the story behind Tungstun --Give
BTW you and DH are a very attractive couple.
and you do fun things together, very nice.
I have no pics stored, Don't know how. The last computer died and all the pics on it did too. Oh well there weren't too many.

my daughter had to have a snake in college. She is a teacher now and thought that the snake would be soooooooo cool to have in a classroom. Well, the girls she roomed with couldn't stop screaming and running out of the room where the snake was. So moms rescues the situation, cause that is what we do. So the temporary housing of the snake became more permanent when the new husband said, no way that thing is going to be in our apartment. And the school said no way too. So,here I am with a snake, by the way, which my hubby hates also. But as a mother....don't we get conned into the oddest things. I have to keep,it hidden in the house cause people that come over don't want to even know where it is.
And of course the frozen mice are in the freezer, but that is a secret. I don't think anyone would eat over here if they knew mice were next to there food..lol
-
OMG too funny. You could try Craig'slist? Or is there an emotional attachment to the snake?
I got my sweetie Schatzi the same way. DS couldn't keep him @ school. He became permanently mine. Love my schatzi.
-
Great pics Susan! Wow, you're brave. Hang gliding? Really?
I was hoping to post a picture or two. Maybe by the next TBT I'll get it done.
-
def an emotional attachment to the cutie. I have had him for 3 yrs now.
-
That pic of me was a pic of the pic, done on my iPhone. iPad should work the same way
-
Sas did you see me and the Brittany?
-
Getting the urge to be somebody else. It's a very strange sense of control. I went since 2009 not being able to make an AVATAR, no it's a compulsion.
BTW It's staring me in the face, I have saved allot of money thrifting LOL. It's a better way than trying to save money at BJ's,or Sam's club. My savings there always cost me 1-2 hundred more than I planned on spending. Had to stop going.
-
Spookie I did, How could I forget that, I didn't even show you my Brit pics. LOL or at least I don't remember showing you my Brit pics
-
Spookie Brit's are so SMART and so great with kids.---never a worry. But they are so high energy.
-
okay going to work on NRC stuff ... will check in later. Try and use a browser other than Internet explore. I got a notice that there may be a problem right now with malware.

Hi ladies, happy friday! Love all the pics.
I'm in alot of pain tonight, my seroma has been drained twice and it has filled again and I swear it is bigger than ever. The doc gave me norco 5 mg's, I have to take 2 to get any relief and that wears off after 3hrs. So I started taking 4 ibuprofen(800 mg) in between the norco and that worked great. But, I remembered MO said no ibuprofen. *sigh* Okay so nurse called in some Tramadol, I took it earlier and it isn't doing chit. Nurse left me a message that if the it didn't help I could always go to the ER over the weekend. Really??
So yes, I'm whining and I feel like a baby because I know others have it worse. But this damn thing feels like a throbbing mass of tissue. bleh. I go see a new PS Friday, but I don't know if I can hold out that long on getting it drained.
-
tang...so sorry to hear. Hope that the combo of stuff you have taken kicks in tonight at sometime.
Always ok to express your feelings. We all need to be validated for what we r going through, when we r going through it.
Wish there were magic answers and magic quick fixes.
I will pray you get some relief

Omg....Susan, you taught me how to post a photo....Thank- you...
Me & DD hiking Baldy Mt. In Sun Valley, Idaho.....I have very few photos on this I Pad... But so exciting to get started....
Tanga rang, I hate that you have had such a horrific time with all this chit. The chemo is a nightmare, and I cannot imagine the discomfort & pain with reconstruction...
Sas, I got the bug to thrift now..
Ziggylilshit, great photo, you look just like I imagined...as a kid...you have had an interesting life...My dad was a cop....LAPD...
-
DD is an avid skier, and snow boarder...she races & has fun
DS is an obsessive, expert kayaker, does extreme high volume flow....scares the crap out of me...
-
JWOW.....look what you started....Susan, that said its never gonna happen with the photos, figured it out, and taught me. Now, if I can get the 500 photos from DH laptop to my I pad, I can bore you all with my Grand Canyon trip. 10 days floating with family & best friends...

Tang Norco is hydrocodone and acetominophen , it is a sister drug to vicodin and lortab.
http://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/lookup.cfm?se...
The reason your were cautioned about taking another drug, is it's putting a heavy burden on the liver. Very heavy burden by taking the Ibuprofen @ 800mg--NSAID. Then the acetominophen (tylenol).
The link to dailymed.nlm above is to Norco. Bookmark the site. Nothing better exists re: drug information. You can re-enter drugs on the search box and look up other drugs.
I am so concerned about liver affects of acetominophen, and Ibuprofin, advil, naproxysin, aleve NSAIDS, that I will ONLY take Acetominophen for a fever and super rarely will take a NSAID. My OXY is plain.
Call the answering service for the PS. He created this mess ASK him if there is anything else you can do short of going to ER.
If you go to ER. watch their handwashing. Tell them if they want to look at your incision, they have to scrub in front of you like they were in the OR. No little bit of hand sanitizer will be acceptable. ER's are a hot bed of bacteria.
-
OH H- I- 1 YAY a convert LOL careful it can be addicting. I drive by a thrift store and I'm pulled....if I don't turn in I THINK about it LOL
Your kids are GREAT and congratulations on posting pics. LOve to see your boring pics of the grand canyon.
YAY for Jwooooohoot and Susan, successfully helping each other , then another........maybe even me when I settle in........
-
Tang having a sleep attack--sorry I wasn't here 2 hours ago Poop.
I was off irritating ASCO. about new really stupid guidelines for cancer survivorship. They are really stupid
First recommendation for our s.e.'s is going to be walking. NO shit. They fill us full of poisons and then say well if you walk you will fell better-------
-
Tang I'm so sorry u'r in so much pain, I wish we could help, if u can take Norco can u take oxy instead? I would go for the strongest one available if u can tolerate it. Chit it's awful to keep on going thru this.
All right show-offs u can post pics, and I can't (altho I love to look at them) I'm very jealous But excuse me a SNAKE, I think I would have to draw the line on that one. Chit I have never put pics in anywhere Remember when I was trying to teach myself how to be a hacker, I failed, I can barely get into my own computer some days.
-
LOVE the photos everyone!
Tang- so sorry you are in such pain. You PS sounds like a SOB. Go to the ER? Really? I think he would need to go to the ER to remove my foot from his rear.
-
OMG I followed u directions for pics and it works except I don't have any in there my DD does so I wasn't going to do her chit, now she's going to have to download some that I want right?
-
yes Cam, either from your phone, or via a scanner to your computer. then use the photo uploader on here to share.
best deal on a scanner hands down is that little Canon one I posted.. here it is http://www.amazon.com/Canon-CanoScan-4507B002-LiD…
super easy set up and use if anyone is looking for a scanner only.
-
