OMG watching it now. Swearwords advisory!!

Sassies doctor says she is doing fine. She just needs to eat healthier and take her meds.
-
Chevy I'll be pullin' up in about an hour, so keep that chili warm & I LOVE spicy. After you and I will go paint the town, eh?
Thanks yall for the good able to quit smoking stories - Teka, can't believe 4 packs a day, geez girl. Not that any of you need it, but you have permission to give me a whole lot of grief if I mess this up.
-
Sending get-well wishes to Sas, will be looking forward to being able to understand what she's talking about when she gets out from under the effects of meds.
Ziggy, good going, girl - take it one day at a time, you know how to do THAT - those cigs cannot control you if you don't let them.
Chevy, your approach to chili is impressive!
Am having no trouble sleeping last few days ... am having more trouble staying awake! Hope you all have some good sleep and pleasant dreams tonight.
-
Sending get-well wishes to sas-schatzi, from all of us here at BCO!

Chevy, "raining" here means pouring, buckets. Maybe it's because our soil is mostly clay, but the ground only soaks up so much and then puddles. Plus in areas, you've had to have seen about the fires, vegetation that isn't there any longer causes floods. We live near hills and hills erode in this weather. A lot of fancy (and expensive) homes close to the foothills near here, I'd be worrying if I was in that location. We had several hours no rain, but it's starting up again.
Hi Pawprint, good to hear from you, how's the weather affecting you? Good thing you had that phone and app. Scary? Hoping the blood levels even out, we went thru a similar scare with DH (he has a rare blood disorder, his dropped so low he needed a transfusion).
Linda, I seem to be having the same problem, can't stay awake. Hoping we get back to normal soon.
Bluebird, great picture
Sassy, hoping you're feeling better, and get to go home soon (if you're not already there). Wow, Sassy, get well wishes from Mods, you're special!
-
Cami - I'll translate Shatziian for you any time.
-
Having a lovely glass of Prairie Fume.
Sassy and all ~ Here's to your health!
Good night/day Owls! ♥
-
Chevy that looks scarey!!
-
I talked to a friend of Sassy's today. (I had missed her call yesterday) She said the surgery went well! I left Sassy a message to call as soon as she's up to it.

Thanks Phyllo. I wonder how long it's going to take for her to get her path report. Everyone cross their fingers that it's ok.
-
Oh I bet Sassy gets it right away--she'll know in no time knowing Sas (I hope) I hope she's comfortable. I have no idea the type of pain this is, I hope it not awful for Sas and I truly pray she's doing well.

More snow???

And I did not how the pain with this and I am so sorry u'r going thru this, take all pain pills on time and we're all pulling for you. Post whenever we understand that's for sure and rest==I'm telling everything u know but I can't help it. Ziggy understood every word u said and she explained it to us. But then again Ziggy lives on a whole different planet. LOL
-
Yes..... the Sass is BACK! She probably assisted them in surgery, if we all know her! At least she did better than my DD and I did, trying to post something from her not-so-smart phone! I should speak to Sass as if she were here....
You guys tell ME to take it easy, and here Sass is doing surgery, livin' it up with her friends, raising all KINDS of hell! This will keep her down for awhile.... but only another day or two!
Thanks Mods! That was really sweet of you guys!
My chili, or whatever it wound up to be was REALLY good! I will have more this morning, with maybe an egg, on a tortilla! STILL have lots, because DH would not even go near it...Ha! Actually he put a little on his french fries. I was amazed that I could rescue it! I was TRYING to push the walker, back and forth to the sink, from the stove, with smaller increments of chili, in each trip, draining, putting back, back and FORTH! THEN, doing it all over again for the final rinse! That guy on that cooking show would have just passed out..... after he shot me. When I saw that left-over gravy just sitting there in the refrigerator, I thought, "Well THAT might be good!" So it turned out alright.
We might try and venture to King Soopers today.... except it is only 5 degrees out... I used my cane a lot yesterday, but I'll just see how it goes... leg still a little wobbly, or weak or something.... It's just nice to be up and runn------ I mean up and shuffling... Ha!
-
Yes Chevy take another chance outside with u'r can--I mean we all know anyone who uses a can can no fall or slip and rutn u'r leg not even falling. Voting for u to go out and renew u'r body.
Oh I smell luscious now--wow I even enjoy myself. I have an infection around my cumasecuma so I put my ointment on and it always feel better when I put it on after a shower cuz I wash with an antibacterial soap down there.
People are out shoveling--I think everyone is swearing the whole time--I read their lips.

Good Morning, Owlettes!
Heading out in the snow for breakfast at a local Fire Department.
sas, continue to rest up.
-
Good morning! Sassy, good to hear from ya! R&R my dear.
Teka, that looks yummy! Good for you supporting the local fire dept.
Chevy, if you have lots left over, you can freeze chili. NIce to have on hand for a night you don't feel like cooking.
Cammi, I'm surounded by the sound of snowblowers. My DH is jealous, he wants one so bad. He dreams big.
Why do this:
When you can do THIS (insert manly grunting)
-
Teka, that is some fire department breakfast you're having! I want to live where the fire department serves an Oceanside breakfast! Lol!
Sassie, speedy healing and rest up..
-
OK I've had three cups of coffee, time to go shovel some snow!
-
Take care Sassy, sorry this one was rough. And I no the NO talking thing is going to be tough!!!!!
Hi Everyone! Happy Sunday, hope everyone is having a great weekend and heads into a good week!
-
Sassy, luckily you can 'talk' to us (and I will interpret for you so Cami can understand what you're saying). Anyway, here's what's been going on.. The cheveroo is eating weird stuff, like chili and eggs on tortillas - which by itself would be great - but then she's putting prunes on top of it and washing the whole mess down with Jack which is pretty gross for breakfast. Plus she's planning this big 'outing' to Walmart - she's been planning it for about a week now, but she can't decide on the sequined zip up bodysuit or the two piece Hooteresque outfit. She's trying to set a record for how many people she can take down with her old lady wheely thing & she's really going to be disappointing because she has lousy aim. You really need to get better because Cami and I can't be expected to keep her in line all by ourselves.
-
Ziggy, you little shit! We did not go to Walmart.... Just only went to the store... I copied and pasted your post, and sent it to my Daughter's..... they understand why I love you guys so much! Because you tease me back!
I didn't get to mow anyone down, only barely missed tripping (yet again) on a rug, they had down to protect from slipping! A gal ran over and sort of help me upright! But I checked myself out! I was proud! Then sat, until DH could find his frozen hamburgers....
Walker works better than the BUGGY! Man, I just GOTTA get stronger soon!
Washing a load of clothes.... and going to watch Nascar.... I mean hop on my Harley, and ride off into the sunset!
Come on Sass..... Easy does it.... we're thinking of you..... give us a report as soon as you can!
-
Sasafrass, sending lots of love & shhhh...I will be over later to share that 45' Rothschild that Miss Ziggypop sent over.
Chevy, get in that damn recliner and stay put for awhile.
Pawprint, good to hear from you.....they tell you to eat liver? Yuk! no way...
Academy Awards tonight, I have not seen any of the movies that are up for Best Picture. What a home body dork I have become, I do love going to the movies. I am looking forward to the show, eating buttered popcorn and relaxing. Need to start renting some of these movies.
The weather here is gorgeous. Yah for spring !
Hello to all .....
-
Hi to you GG! Okay.... I'll sit back and relax for awhile.... soon as I load the dryer! xoxoxoxo
-
Jeez Chevy u'r like people in my family--certainly not me--When I had my first operation the doc told me no vacuuming--so I didn't vacuum for 2 yrs, my girls finally figured it out--they would come every week and vacuum that was about 17 yrs ago so I was still "young" .
-
We need to call in cabana' boys to do our chores....! I mean to clean out our lower cupboards, like the ones we can't crawl into anymore.... and and to scrub under the edges of the cabinets, fridge and stove! I used to do it on my hands and knees.... My swiffer mop, that I use bar-towels and spray on, work, but I USED to spend a lot more time on stuff like that!
I just can't try going upstairs yet, or even into our little basement... Nothing there I NEED, but it's just something I want to be able to do, and then get rid of stuff we don't need anymore. Once I get down there, I can set it all on the steps, and DH will take it up the rest of the way! I'll give a bunch of stuff to DD for her Spring yard-sale....
