Good Morning everyone--busy people around here.
Oh it great we heard from Sas, even tho I really don't have a clue what she was talking about and she won't either so Checy I can't deciper anything. And look who's calling ANYONE a tramp--kind of ironic.
Oh I love all the furbaby pics, u know I'm a sucker for all of them.
Chevy no wonder u had so much pain, just trying to find the ?Dr. was an experience in PT.
I'm not awake--I woke up to a work call and thought Really? and told him straight out I hadn't had my coffee yet so talk slowly and clearly.

CHEVY

sassy, you need to wake up, chevy's being mean, even cami thinks so.
-
Why can't anybody understand Sas?
"Painless givenot kindle speak. No idea ,I thin its artificial intelligence. 'm see work. Bob lad hugs h very sweet"
Clear as a bell ... as usual.
Love you Sassy.

They say it's not cold enough to snow in Seattle, but will north of here. Hope that's not famous last words. It will rain, just colder rain than last week.
SIL is moving in tonight for 3 days. She's here for a poetry writer's conference. It featured thousands of people reading in hundreds of different places. I think the person who put it together will need to go away for a long rest. I need to go get the spare room vacuumed, so TTTL.

Two months no smoky! See Chevster, I am working to better myself, it's a concept some people know about.
-
Ziggy, Congrats! Good for you!
-
I was a 4 packer a day.
Quit over 20+ years ago!
-
FOR MISS SASSYPANTS:
-
Oh Ziggers! 2 months? Congratulations, and I really mean it..... I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging..... oh wait.... yes I am, but I quit smoking in 1964.... Probably before you were even born! The reason I quit, after the 3rd try, is because I could not BREATHE....! I mean I always had asthma issues, bronchitis, and it ached in my chest when I would inhale! I was 27 when I quit....
Teka, good for YOU! I smoked a pack a day, and quit when they were 30 cents a pack.... It was hard to scrape up enough money, even at THAT price! Remember Kool, and Paxton Cigarettes?
Been snowing off and on here today.... but the sun is trying to come out.... Put on a pot of chili with home-made beans. None of those store-bought beans for US! I took out the farts, by soaking, then boiling, then adding them to the chili, pork, peppers, onions, tomatoes and garlic mix! I probably have enough for ALL of you, if you want to stop by?
-
Chevy, I'm in! I'll bring cheese, and BEER.
-
Sas, I didn't know what to get you so I'm sending you a virtual $47,000 bottle of 1945 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, enjoy!
-
Ok....I am totally lost :-/ WTH is Sas talking about ? Did Sas get a Rosseti Stone foreign language course? I definitely need translation. Chevy, your leg looks messed up, did you trip over the chickens? Cami, did you share your plant with Chevy and with Sas? That would explain so much. Hole....that comment about your neck cracked me up. Maddy, yea we finally got some rain. I was working last night and lost electricity. Had to escort people out of the office with the flashlight on my iPhone. I hope you feel better soon Maddy. Lots of new Owlettes here. Anemia not improving for me, so will set up a series of infusions to get my iron levels back up. My level at 8 now, if it gets to 7, I will need blood. Hope everyone can enjoy their weekend.
-
Iron levels.

Chili!
-
So far I have screwed that chili up, that it is hardly recognizable! I merely added 2 heaping T. of chili powder. DH tasted it, and nearly lost his breath.... I thought he was a whiner.... So I finally tasted it, and promptly took out all the fixins' and drained the juice, thinking THAT would help.
STILL too hot! So I drained it again, then added some left-over brown gravymix that I had, and it is getting to be a little tamer! This is a lesson learned..... throw out all that chili powder, that I had mixed, and start anew. I think I traumatized the beans so bad, they are afraid to get soft.
Yes, Pawprint, Sass is speaking in a foreign language now..... but we act like everything is fine..... We KNOW she will be back in shape soon.... Ha!
Badger.... just bring the whatever.... that might be all we can eat.... I have to go remove the lid, and see if the spoon melts when I stick it in.
-
Chevy, it'll be fine! Put a dollop of sour cream on top when serving and that'll mellow it out. Learned that when eating fiery Mex out West. Beer tasts good but doesn't quench the fire, water only makes it worse, and you don't want to wimp out and drink milk so it's cheese & sour cream to the rescue! Oooh and some guacamole!
-
-
Thanks Badger.... don't have any sour-cream, but might put grated cheddar on top.... It's been boiling it's little butt off, and so far, it tastes alright....
We scared Teka....Ha!
-
Chevy, was it the avocados? I bet yr house smells great!
Whooooo's keeping an eye on sassy today? ♥
-
I keep plain Greek yogurt on hand. Cheaper than sour cream and seems to last longer. DH has no clue.
-
If she hasn't posted by morning, I'll call her.... I hate to try it tonight, in case she is sleeping? Geez, these kids! Always make us worry......
Littlegoats, I have some Vanilla yogurt.... but I hate to try THAT one...Ha!
Badger, what a pretty little owl! Awwwwww.....!
-
Ziggy thanks for writing out what Sas said==Now I understand it. LOL
Chevy that what u get for braggin' about u'r chili. My dad used to say the hotter the better u won't stay sick long if u catch a cold. Actually that's probably true cuz all openings seem to advance in their nature, so I grew up with everything super spicey==I don't eat it now, but my DDs do and Joey too. So the chile would have been great to them. u Little chit, why are u doing all this anyway?
-
LMG, I bet some crumbles of soft goat cheese would be good on chili.
This pic reminds me of Tim's neighbor Wilson on Home Improvement.
It's a little spooky so LMK if it creeps out anyone and I'll delete it.
-
I loved that show!
