Girls, Mods have checked her activity and she was last on the boards on March 1st but nothing since. I'm going to check the Central Address book and see if she is registered,(I am) and if she isn't, Mods said the will email her for us. At last! Hopefully well find out what's happening.

Hi all
I contacted the mods several days ago. I used to have Isabella's email but lost it when my computer turned up its toes. They were going to contact Isabella and see if they could get a response. Maybe they might give info if enough of us ask.
I know my chemo list shared addresses and phone numbers, also a contact person if we were really worried which is a great idea, so how about it. I am quite happy to collect the info if you like and pass it on if you are happy to do so. So PM if you want to share such things. Many of us had Marybe's contact details.
Big hugs to all

Aly - that was a great picture you posted. I love all the pretty flowers everyone is posting. Mine always comes out blurry no matter how good the camera is. It is called user errors in being able to hold the camera steady even with the auto steady feature turned on.
Chrissy - I will not be able to come this year, but Jimmie said I can come next year. So maybe I can talk him into later this year when it is warm there and freezing here. I am still so cold everyday with all the changes in the weather here, it is a wonder everyone does not have pneumonia!
Hugs to all, off to take a nap before finishing the last thing to close my Moms estate. Almost done with that. YEAH!!!!

Could it be himalayan honeysuckle?
-
I don't know but the flowers were about four inches wide..
-
I am trying to join the list too. I think it is a valuable resource especially given our ages. I would just hate if one of you who I have come to know over the last few years just went missing. I hope we can hear from Isabella soon. I miss her writing.
Love Ginger

I still haven't heard from Nowheregirl Re the password for the central address. I'll give her another day or two to give her a chance to check in before PMing her again.
-
hi all,I am using a new tablet.finally upgraded.seems to be working well.
I had my tooth taken out today.it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.lol why do I make everything bigger in my mind? I just have to keep up with the Advil.
How is the search going for Isabella? We do need to figure out a way to get in touch with people if they disappear suddenly. Even if it's just to let them know we care.
I love all the pictures too. It's definitely not spring here yet,so it's nice to get some hope of what's to come.
thinking hopeful springy thoughts for all of you.

Hi all
If you would like to send me your contact details I will make a list. Have some already which is great. My chemo group is still in contact beause we have email and addresses. I am only too happy to let you have my contact details.
Have had a quiet day as I have a chest infection/asthma. Just have no energy at all.
Big hugs.
-
Oh Aly! Hope you take it easy until you get over that chest infection/asthma.
Have a great Easter all!!!
Love n hugs. Chrissy -

Hot Cross buns for breakfast, yummy.
DH has gone to church but I am staying home as I am still wheezing. Might go out later for a coffee at DDs - nothing is open today. It is a holiday here and most places close.
Big hugs to all
-
Oh my goodness - I forgot to get some hot cross buns! They are soo delicious. Will keep that on my soon to do list.
-
I've never had a hot cross bun, but they do look good! I'll cook Saturday since everyone will be here on Easter. DIL's mother is doing a ham, and she does a very good one) so that will help a lot. I'm doing potato salad, a sweet potato casserole for DS who doesn't like potato salad, rolls, and 2 desserts. DD's bringing deviled eggs and green bean casserole. DH said we should just have a dessert buffet since we gave up sugar for Lent, but I had to veto that idea!
Alyson, I sent you a PM with my contact info. I hope you do feel up to going to DD's tonight, and hope your infection clears up soon!

Aly, LOL the little peeps with the hats on, they must be from my neck of the woods where it is still chilly.
Lisa,The pics almost look fake, they are such beautiful scenes. Makes you want to be there. Just fabulous!
Hey Ladies, I have a friend that is in the early days of fighting bc. She has had 2 lx so far, and needs another surgery. She has ILC, which I have no experience with and I am pretty new to this, too. Are there threads you can suggest that would be helpful to her? She is stage 1, grade 2. She is coming over tonight and I am going to help her navigate this forum so she can ask some questions. I will definitely suggest this thread. She is 58, I think.
Happy Easter, and Passover everyone!!!!!

mac, that was the next to last thing on my bucket list to see this garden on Easter Sunday..
It was wonderful and a trip I would recommend to anyone..tulip river cruise..
-
Mac - There is a whole forum for ILC. Go to All Topics down to "connecting with others with similar diagnosis". Some look very active. I do know people with that DX face their own challenges over IDC. Will be looking for your friend to join the groups nobody wants to belong to and welcome her here.
Lisa - love your pictures. Finally saw a few bluebonnets on side of road. Drought has not allowed most of them to sprout though we did have a gully washer with some of the loudest thunder I've heard in a long time at 3 am today.

How did I miss this discussion.
I turned 61 in October, just passed the 6 year mark when I got the call but I guess I should count the cancerversary April 17th, that was my first surgery. May 4th was my 2nd surgery to get clearer margins. That was all clear.
I do recognize some gals from my other favorite forums, HI ALL!!
-
this site seems so welcoming! think have found my new home..
