OMG They Found the Cure for Stupid

OK - Which AG is better to smoke? Do we need the cheaper (relatively speaking) stuff so that we can smoke more or do we go for the high dollar s**t? Never smoked but I guess today is a good day to start.
Chevy - Sounds like the baby chicks are about to be owl or raccoon food. I'm too afraid of such things plus hawks to even try free range chickens or any for that matter. And how many eggs could DH and I eat?? He works with a guy who sells them (eggs). Eggs must be different from milk; can't sell milk without a hard to get license in Texas.
-
Back in the day, parrot food had hemp seeds in it; you could grow some really decent stuff by chucking it into good soil........Now I wonder whether chicken food could also be used in that way.
I would be willing to share mine with all of you fine feathered friends.......
-
New chooks you should read the pages around about 42-44, somewhere there and you will learn a bit about the hen house.
Sam you are right about the bird food and hemp but evidently its not really the stuff you smoke; not so sure about chicken food I am sure 'they' have prevented such things happening. I could ask the young ones next door for some maybe, never tried it personally but know the smell well. Minister friend leaving after having dinner with us comments that we must have some lovely night smelling plant in the garden I laugh and have to explain that the fragrance is wafting over from neighbours house. DOn't think yu would find such things in chicken feed so asparagus it is.
I am sure we could dry and smoke this. Looking at the berries gave me a great idea, maybe that's the cure after all not sure what we do with them?????
-
Okay, I'm up to page 22, and STILL laughing! I thought about the asparagas cure... And almost bought 4 bunches..... I don't have mud yet... nor the Bounty. But I WILL try the medicinal stuff you can smoke...
to make you feel better! WHAT was I MISSING when I was younger? Is it too late? Is THAT why I got cancer, because I DIDn't?
Guess that means my Dauthter's are safe. So that's why Daughter #2 cried when I flushed those seeds down the toilet?
-
Cant devulge where I heard it, but Ive heard from a source of a new cure!!!!!! Baking soda! Just a teaspoon a day! and as added bonuses it will make your teeth white AND help with indigestion!I for one am running towards the fridge with my cup and spoon right now. I have a drawer full of cures so I should be "curing" very soon now.
-
No, you are thinking about cleaning plugged drains! You pour in a cup of baking soda, then follow with a cup of white vinegar, then after a bit, you pour boiling water down the drain! Or maybe that's what we are supposed to do for us??? I get so confused.
-
Alyson, I love the story about the minister. Mine would probably think the same thing. He thinks Hooters resteraunts(sp)? are dens of iniquity. I can only imagine what he would think if he read this thread lol.
-
Yes....baking soda is the cure all right; but you have to take it with maple syrup apparently.
And stand on one leg reciting the Lord's prayer backwards whilst wearing a tinfoil hat..and clucking VERY LOUDLY
bwagawk
-
Could someone remind me how to post a picture/image, please? My head's full of feathers these days.....
-
Oh Sam I love that one, but please let us know how we incorporate the clucking in with reciting or do we recite first and then cluck? I want to make sure I have this down right. I really do need to practice my clucking anyway, I havnt been doing it for quite awhile. We have been teaching my dog how to sing though, as soon as we have it down im going to put it on youtube.
-
You must cluck between every word!
-
Couldn't help myself Is that an asparagus chicken is smoking??
-
-
-
-
Oh NO! it doens't mention the cure!
-
-
oh boy - look what I started - veggy's on a rampage!!!
-
Good to see ya posting Veggy!!!
-
Finally got my computer back. I was using my iPad but never learned how to post pictures on it. Now I am learning to post pictures all over again. I forgot how to. Chemo has made a home for itself in my brain once more.
-
I've missed your posts Veggy.
-
Cluck, cl;uck bgawkk Veggy is back in the hen house.
-
Veggy and Alyson, your cartoons always make me LMAO. So glad I found this thread.
-
So can I be in the hen-house now?
-
Since I am amazingly incompetant on the computer, i'll just have to settle for the occasional funny story. Veggy so glad to see you again. You've been missed.
-
All silly old chooks and young poulets welcome in the henhouse. (I hope being called a silly chook means the same in the US as it does here!!!)
-
I am always amazed at how gullible some people are, to keep these quacks in business...
http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/cancer.html
They are honestly trying to find a cure for their cancer, but going about it bass-akwards! I just read how baking-soda would "cure" any cancer.
And here all the time I've been throwing it in my washing machine, and baking with it!
I also bought some asparagus.....
So am I supposed to eat it or smoke it?
-
Here is some good smoker kind Chevy - the skinny ones are the ones you eat.
-
Oh! Okay, I'll take my skinny ones back... and exchange them for something more smokeable!
-
Yep, I read about the baking soda too. Isnt that something? and all this time its been right under our noses. Have been doing it for a few days now, and I think its working. I smell better and my teeth are whiter too. Am off to Fla. next week, heard that the cure guy is down there, working on his tan, will let you all know if I find him. Hes probably hanging out with those young co-ed cuties this time of year.....
