Val.. Sorry your Hubby has been hurt.. Sometimes extended family feel because they are related they have the "right " to say whatever they want.. But they don't !!! They deserve a little shove into the fire..!! You know.. I like the old saying "you can pick your friends, but can't pick your relatives ".... I'm sure if you could pick your relatives some family get to-togethers would be much more enjoyable.!! ((Hugs))

Hi Pinkies - Just checking in. Recovery from eye surgery is going well. Can't wait to get my glasses. I am not liking the cheap readers I had to get but will put up with it for awhile. Amazed at how much better I can see.
Val - Sorry to hear this is happening to your DH. Relatives can be cruel and they sometimes also think they are entitled to be that way. Shame on them.
-
well
It's time for an update on the party on the stfu thread
It's March 31 on a tues...the last day of the month
Bring UR baby pics
That's the theme for the month
Please show up
Then we can burn Val's family who dare to treat our wonderful sista and DH badly
How dare they????

MJH.. Welcome.!! As you can see I'm from the Land Down Under... So I cant help you with your question.. I hope someone comes along here soon who may have some suggestions for you
-
Val, into the fire they go. No one should be treating you badly!!
Jo, I'm glad your recovery is going well.
mjh, Welcome to the Bonfire. Wish I could help you, but I'm now a west coast gal. Hopefully someone will be along with some suggestions. I seem to recall seeing a New York get together thread awhile back. I'm glad you found us. A wonderful group of women here. If you're a bit crazy, you'll fit right in!! If not, you will be after awhile.
So far I received Krackers photo. Anyone that wants to participate in the baby photo contest, please send me your photo. I will post them all on party day with a list of possible recipients. We can see who gets the most correct. If you'd all like to do it a different way, I'm open to anything!!
GMA, I changed my avatar picture just for you. I thought for sure you would recognize the picture!!
Mommy, we will all be in your pocket next month. Just let us know the day of your surgery.
Tomboy, are you melting yet? I almost turned on the air conditioner today.
Alyson, did you have your MRI yet???
Ducky is way too quiet! There's a newbie here Ducky......where is the welcome mat from the oldest, smartest, prettiest.....etc???? Hope all is well with you!!

firecracker, duckyb1, slow deep breath, lucy55 - thanks for rolling out the red carpet for me....I feel like royalty with that welcome. maybe I should change my name now to Queen MJ - lol. Glad to meet all you ladies. I knew I joined the right tata sisterhood. One day when I finally get my other boob fixed I will proudly display them to you all.
Firecracker - I have a summer home in Gley Spey and have some friends that live in Honesdale. Maybe, we can meet up this summer!!!

MJ............Watch out for Firecracker........I gave her that name.....she use to be Grannydukes.....she tried hiding behind that name to make everyone think she was some sweet old lady that butter melted in her mouth........don't be fooled..........she owns a broom, flies everywhere, and wears CFM shoes...........but we love her..................RIGHT FK...............LOL

You do need to beware of Firekracker. She can be a pistol at times but also is a lot of fun. On the other hand, Ducky needs watching for sure.............
As for me, they call me "Queen" and I have to remind them every now and then. LOL!!!!!!!
Seriously, we can be serious when we need to but we strive to have lots of fun.

Question for our newbee
Where do u want to have this done?
I no so,some that came on this thread lookin for a Dr..She also lives what I call upstate NY...She is going to my Breast surgeon in NJ
I can ask around but all I need to no is Where????
I still have connections
I would love to help U
Don't listen to anything Ducky tells U about me...see that red solo cup...hmmmmmmm
Come on over to the STFU thread...we r connected....
Keep lookin for the baby pic....and send it to slow
I just might be back later
-
Duckyb1 - Is there really a thread like that??
-
firekracker - I live in Queens so either someone in NYC or Long Island would work best. I've done tons of looking up doctors and reading reviews and looking at their creds that now my head is spinning. Of course, there's the other issue of will they accept my insurance but that's for later. Even if they don't take my insurance but someone has used them and has had great results I can at least go for a consult so that when I finally do find a PS that takes my insurance I'll at least have something to question them on. I still can't believe how naieve I was thinking that the MX is no big deal, I'll just get bigger, perkier boobies. you ladies really need to get my head straight!!!!
-
MJ......yes there is a thread like that........so much fun....same crazy ladies.......
Go to Search on the Home Page.
On the left side of the Page look for the"SEARCH" word.
Click on that........Where you see the word that say "KEYWORD" just put in "STFU"......hit enter, and the thread will come up...................
-
MJ
I sent U a pm
If u need help finding it just holla
Come join the stfu thread....U will enjoy it
-
firekracker - thanks. will look now. How do I get over my fear of looking for a PS and knowing when I find the right one?? Maybe I'm just scared of another procedure that could potentially mess up what I already have. All you ladies that have gone B4 me need to knock some sensei into me!!!!
-
MJ I just sent you my PS's information in PM.
If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask.
Love Robin

To all my tata sisters who sent me a PM, thank you. As I quickly learned, you are only allowed so many PM in a day and therefore was not able to respond to you, but I assure you I will.

Robin and Firecracker - I'm also orignally from Brooklyn. I lived in Greenpoint.
