Hi Goddesses - Haven't been posting lately but do check in and read everyday. I am having eye surgery on Friday - cataract - left eye - BC side due to Tamoxifen. Requesting prayers and a pocket party. While I am at it, I am throwing in that damn little white pill. Can't believe I am having to do this. I will get through this and move on. No worries here.

For Jo:
We will all be with you! Prayers coming your way!!

Trying to think of a new theme for the end of the month party
Any suggestions
-
Good to see you Val.............
-
FK - I am here. And yes, I did take a nap. 4:30 is an ungodly time to have to get up. Surgery went well and I was in the truck by 8:30. Had coffee and breakfast shortly after that. Saw the doctor at 11:00 to have the eye patch removed. He also checked the new lens and my eye pressure. Follow up in one week - new glasses in 2 weeks. In the meantime, I took the lens out of the glasses I have and just have the "good" one in. Still have to be able to read things.
Val - Good to see you. You have been missed
Mommy - good luck on your recon surgery. It is always a good feeling to finally be at the end.
-

-
Mommy.. Thats great you will have the surgery over and done with soon !!
-
Yep.
-
So happy the procedure went well, Jo! Happy, Happy!!IHey, K ~~ yeah, didn't get my pigeon sent out soon enough with the message to you for you to pick me up! Oh, well.... next time. I keep checking my mailbox every day hoping you have decided to part with that purple bag.........so you have a right to be concerned about whether or not I would snitch that or not.... ha! ha!
Mom/2 ~ how have you been doing with the expanders?
I don't usually throw anything into this bonfire, & since I don't usually share much about extended family on here (cos I'm kinda private) & due to having seen someone about a year ago join BCO from a city/state where I have extended family in, I watch what I say.....anyway, I'd like to extend an invitation to a couple of family members to take a flying leap. They have hurt my DH & I will not forgive them! I may have said too much already (am always concerned about Mr. Google & what shows up), but I am pi**ed. And, yeah I know it has nothing to do with bc, but I don't need the stress. GRRRR
-
Doing good. Getting ready for the implant surgery next month!!!!!!!!!!!!!
