Bonfire of the Goddesses

Oh, yes!!! PARTAAAYYYY at the bonfire for Jo!!!!!! Jo, I am so glad you are happy with your decisions and that you are DONE and it has been 2 years! I know what you went through there for a while, and am so glad it was all worthwhile!
I am throwing in pleural effusions today. I have had increasing shortness of breath AGAIN, so called the MO and they got me on the schedule to get the fluid drained off on Monday. The way things are going today, Monday just can't get here soon enough! And I don't know if they scheduled me with my favorite NP or if it is the other one - oh well, both are OK, I just like one better than the other - she is gentler.
I will be MIA for a few days as my mom is coming for a visit and it is difficult to get on BCO when I have company. So I will share my beautiful columbines with you all for a very Happy Easter weekend, and see you next week, hopefully breathing easier by then!
-
Linda - Bummer on the pleural effusions. Hope you get it taken care of Monday. You are one hell of a strong lady. You have been through so very much. To me you are like a Timex watch - you take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. You go girlfriend. The flowers are so beautiful. I have never seen those before.
FK - I have to say I have been having lots of fun over the past couple of years. This is the way it should be.You do remember than no matter how hard I had it, I always found the bright side of things.
-
Linda-just come to the party for a few min
U gotta thro stuff anyway
JOJO---we came a long way baby
Party,,,let's get goin
Where r u everyone
Oh I forgot it's Easter Weekend lets start anyway
-
Hi All! Haven't been here in ages, but just peeking in for a bit. We're leaving for a vacation to the Smoky mountains. Yahoooo! Egad, it takes forever to pack post rads. Pack undies...sit. Pack shirts... lay down. Pack pants..... sit. Well you get the drift. Moving a little bit on the slow side yet, but starting to get longer periods of energy. Probably will spend the whole time staring at the hummingbirds since they have a hummer feeder at the cabin where we stay. This is from year before last.
-
Lily..........I hear you.........the Rads can beat you up physically, but it took a couple weeks for it to happen to me after I finished....................however.......my techs did warn me that it was going to happen........I think long term Rads takes its toll on the body in general..........why would it not................there is a reason the floor is concrete and everyone but you is in the room when your being cooked.........LOL.............but......
We do come through one way or the other........younger can handle it better......an old gal like me, well face it............we have our own age related things going on too...........almost 79 is not exactly a spring chicken........but we fight through.
So you sit as much as you need to, and lay when you have to, but enjoy yourself, and the hummingbirds........hugs...........good to see you back...........don't be a stranger.........we welcome all.................
-
Jo..........sent you a bunch of Philly cheese steaks to the party........hope you enjoyed them...........where were you when I stopped by...............was looking for you on the dance floor..............party on ladies..
-
ouch!!!!!!!
My feet hurt from dancin all nite
Who cares it's a good pain
Let's stop now and start again after Easter
All in favor say YES
Happy Easter sistas
Today we will celebrate Easter in my family.I ts Greek Easter tomorrow and my GS has to go to his future in laws...
-
Ok old lady.......will you make up your mind................do I have to come there and whip some sense into you..................let's party.......let's wait..........let's party.......let's wait..................and you wonder why I get confused.................its not nice to confuse old people....................LMAO........
-
hey u,,I. Was at the party last nite
Where were U?
And yes I danced my ass off
It's Easter weekend sooooo who do u think will come to the bonefire?
What part of this pic.do u not understand?
Or
What part of this pic am I missing????
Do u want to borrow my CFM shoes for next weeks party?????
It's on,it's off,I'm up,I'm down
So what else is new?????
-
Do you really think your CFMS will help...................I need more then shoes to help me.
So we are celebrating next week then.
By the way "mouth" I was there last night you were so busy dancing in your CFMS you didn't see me...............Lalalalalalalalalalalalala................
-
Lily - We all know what you are talking about. It took me several months after rads to get my energy back. Some of the ladies that were with me during that time will attest to the fact, I WORKED everyday. How did I do it - I have no idea. Hang in there. Enjoy the hummingbirds and just give yourself time to heal and get back to doing all those things you love to do.
OMG! That was one hell of a party. You ladies crack me up.
Ducky - I was there!! There were so many people we just missed each other. I did see FK dancing but couldn't get to her. For an old broad, she can shake her boodie. She is probably feeling it today. And, we don't need her CFM shoes to dance - let her keep them.
Another party next week? Bring it on!!!!
-
Hey it will be my birthday next Tuesday..........lets eat, drink, and dance our little asses off...........for a 79 year old broad I can still dance..............maybe I can't move the next day, but I sure as hell move the night before.........................
Got my dancing shoes........and my dress....
-
Ducky - My birthday is Monday so let's start the party even earlier. Love the dress and shoes. Wouldn't wear the shoes, I would break my ankles. hahaha! BTW! Nice color choice - purple - my favorite color.
-
Sounds good.................
-
where did my post go????
It was long too
Oh well,shit happens
I guess I'll have to buy a new outfit for this party thanks to ducky for showing everyone the old one,and new shoes too..Purple is my favorite color but I think I'll be the lady in red.
So let me get this right,,JOJO is Monday and ducky is Tuesday
R we gonna party both nites?
