Bonfire of the Goddesses

I have a great dentist, but she is about 300 miles away, and I am not changing dentists again. I have moved so many times, and have only had 2 dentists that I felt comfortable with.
Badger, yes, a new med (maybe). I haven't decided on whether I am going to try it or not, have appointment with MO in 2 weeks after getting CT scan, so will probably wait until I can talk to her more about it because I just didn't get enough information from her about how we would manage SEs to feel comfortable starting it. It's one of those that have only given about 4 months of progression-free disease anyway, and at this point, I am not sure 4 months is worth the SEs, but not everyone gets SEs .... into the fire with drugs that don't work, drugs that cause SEs, drugs that are outrageously expensive (AND don't work AND cause SEs) ....

Throw in these poisoned smelly teeth that are all comin out april11th at 2pm....
Yup the infection will not go away unless the teeth are out.
Soooo it looks like ill be goin to the reunion with a friggin mask on.....
and only God knows what I'll wear on my feet.grrrrrrrrrrr. -
Granny... Try stopping by the Enselow shoe store on 32 nd Street and Park Avenue South before we meet up. When you go inside the store, make a quick left and head downstairs. You will find clearance racks of the most comfortable shoes from all over the world.
Hope you feel better from head to toe soon! -
Granny, love you just the way you are....you gotta get this done. Can't wait to see you!
-
granny, You gotta so this and you know it. Stop worrying about what the girls may think or say at the reunion. They are going to love you and embrace you no matter what. And who cares what you got on your feet. At this stage in our lives, it's all about comfort and not necessarily style. Bottom line - we all love you just the way you are - borrowed that from Joan811. Hugs

Ha,ha! Shell, where did you SEE that CUP? I'm laughing my butt off! Oh wait till miss Princess sees THIS one! I just wrote her about her whining and moaning on the STFU thread! I tracked her down to this thread....
Hi Sheilah and Jo!

Merhaba Sheila. iyiyim tesekker ederim. Nasiliniz?
Hi Chevy! I have no idea what our princess is up to. Haven't heard from her in a few days.
-
LOVE the coffee mug!
You ladies are right, there's never a good day to visit the dentist. What I meant was it was going to be a nice day to be off work LOL. Not too bad an appt, just a cleaning & exam. Gum is healed up from extraction. ((Granny))
Linda, lots of love & hugs as you ponder. Fire is getting toasty, burning expensive meds that may or may not be worth the SE's.
L&H&P's to all

Jo- Here we are sitting next to the bonfire toasting marshmallows.
The marshmallows are getting nice and toasty as we chit chat.
I have way too much time on my hands.
-
Veggy - Aw! Thanks for the company. No, it isn't you have too much time on your hands. It's nice to focus on something other than BC and throwing things in the fire. It is nice a big right now. This is the time we can just sit by the fire and enjoy each other's company.
-
Granny, I don't understand about the mask. Is it so no one will see your mouth without teeth? Or to keep you from catching something? I think it's a lot like no boobs. People who see you every day might notice, but strangers probably wouldn't. Of course you can't smile wide or that will give it away.
-
veggy - thanks so much for the marshmellow party - enjoyed it so much - let's do it again soon....
-
Wren----its so no one could see me without teeth....i no its a ego thing but i gotta tell ya i dont go thow out the garbage without my lipstick on and my hair done....and the damn walker...im foul right now and its gonna be that way for a while.
Veggy....................im comin soon!!!!!!!
-
Three WONDERFUL things happened to me today:

3) I got an A on my exam!!!!!

Way to go, Shell!!!
-
Congrats Shell. I would hate to be on Granny's shit list. That is a very scary thought.
-
Wonderful Shell! Congrats.
-
Good for you Shell.
-
If I throw my fever into the fire will the flames get more intense?
