Thank you Ladies! I hope my back co-operates or Ray will have to get a Hannibal Lecter gurney to get me there, minus the mask! hahahaahahah!
Just saw this on FC and since we are such animal lovers, thought I would share.

-
Libby ... LOL ... I will never get over the Ricky Nelson thing. It is just so 'not you'

-
OMG, Blue, hilarious!! Major animal lover here too!
-
HL, laughing over Ricky Nelson and Blue, love that cartoon.
-
I KNOW, WR! I have NO EARTHLY CLUE where that came from! I wasn't even a big fan! My sister was when I was little, but -- REALLY! The least I could have gotten from those lousy narcotics was Bruce Springsteen! I suppose it could've been worse ... it could've been Liberace! Geez, I guess I shouldn't give my subconscious any new ideas. I wouldn't mind Victor Borge and his hilarious punctuation routine.
Blue, I love that meme -- I've seen it before.
My last hallucination from dilaudid, when I got home, also made everyone laugh. It was black handwriting all over the picture at the bottom of my bed. When I told my nephew that was my last hallucination, he asked, "What did it say?" I replied, quite seriously, "I don't know. I didn't have my glasses on." I'm not even any fun with hallucinations!

Wow....go away for a few hours and darn if all heck doesn't break loose. Things seemed to have worked out just fine.....glad of that. I can keep singing " I Gotta Be Me " so let the candidates influence me please and life will work out.
A bit of a wasted afternoon though I did find out at V.A. Hosp. that I have some cartilage that needs to settle back down on my knee. I thought I was going to have to worry about that old Arthur - Itis, but I'm off that hook......hope I can stay quiet with the leg for a bit, though back to work tomorrow. It's not hard so I may be able to baby myself and do my work too.
Eggplant.....dearly loved as in Parmigiana which is not good for me now. My rule of thumb goes something like this....the better it tastes, the more likely it is to be on the no-no list or at least only twice a yr. Sigh !!!
Parents....I miss mine like crazy. They taught me so much and loved me even more. I recall my mother usually chuckling every time an election came round. She was a Democrat...my Dad a Republican and she would always say.....I don't know why I'm doing this....your Dad and I are just going to cancel each other out.
Anyway....hope you have a great evening. I'm going to go out and help Dh re-worked the dog-pen fence.

I had a huge crush on Ricky Nelson when I was a teenager. Bobby Sherman too. I wouldn't mind a hallucination of either one of them!!!
-
Just read Maureen Dowd - she mentions Cheney rearing his ugly head again. It's funny:
Cheney, described by Romney as a "person of wisdom and judgment," is lurking. On Monday, he churlishly tried to deny President Obama credit for putting Osama in the cross hairs, cattily referring to a report that Obama had not gone to all his intelligence briefings.
Well, yes. W. got briefings, like the one that warned him on Aug. 6, 2001: "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S." That didn't work so well either, did it?

Blue - I am a late arrival. Love your lamps. :-)
-
Too funny, PiP! I had a huge crush on Bobby Sherman -- and was one of the millions of girls who were absolutely sure she would be The One to marry Davy Jones of the Monkees!
L -
Yes I went from Davy Jones to Jim Morrison! The good old fancy free no disease days!
-
I have lymphedema.....it really sucks, and so many are clueless as to what it is, and I hate to say........many Doctors too...............sad thing is, it is for life...........oh well, it is what it is....................
-
Hi everyone,
Still in Vermont, but haven't been on line. I notice things have been hopping. Verryy interesting.
Sunflowers, i like your title, but that'll be my next book. I read the Maureen Dowd column, too, and laughed.
By the way, very funny bit on the new comedy central show, Totally Biaased. The host did this riff on how presidential candidates are supposed to pick vps who will bring something different to the table. He started this by saying that Romney picked little Romney i.e. Ryan - then went on to compare other recent pairings. Obama, cool young black guy, picked Biden, old experienced white guy. McCain, old experienced white guy picked Palin, hot young woman. Bush, commited born again Christian, picked Satan.
Blue, beautiful daughter, beautiful dress. Hope the wedding is wonderful, but more important, that the marriage is wonderful!
What a beautiful day here today! Just the beginning tinges of color, red and gold, and the wildflowers, blue, white and yellow in the fields. Walked outside tonight and looked up at the stars, so many I can't even make out constellations. I am not religious but on this, one of the holiest of the Jewish holidays, I can marvel at the wonder and beauty that is our world.
I wish all of you my friends, Jewish or not, a wonderful year. May you be written into the Book of Life. Le Shanna Tova.

YIKES!!!!!
-
I have blocked a lot of people today.
-
Heavens to murgatroyd!
-
I haven't yet. Interesting and fascinating!
-
How many blocks can one person have?
-
I updated my block list, too!

WR, no, I'm a slug. Actually, I'm a cable virgin who has spent much of the past week finding out which 10 among 200 channels are worth checking out. LOL I promise to do better this week.
And I've been reading and then not having time to post this weekend, but now that I'm done working for a few days, I may drop in for longer chats. Damn, I wish I liked brussel sprouts more.
I definitely don't like peas, except maybe snow pea pods. -
Blue-----That was you on sofa? Not your wedding apparel though, right? 'cuz I seem to remember your shoes being VERY RED!!---kad2kar
-
Can I post now?
-
I can see you kad2kar....what are you worried about? That if you block too many people we won't be able to see you?
Mary
-
How long do you have to wait between posts? I asked Blue if that was her wedding apparel in pic and I didnt think It would go with her VIVIDLY RED shoes... Got a pink alert saying no quick posts, one right after another. so how long to wait between posts?
-
Hmmm.....never heard of that.....
You can always edit your post if you remember you have something else to say.
Mary
-
Mary---if you block me will I know so I can feel bad?
Riley---What color did you paint the living room?---kad2kar
-
hahahaha! Not my dress but my daughter is my spitting image when I was her age.
-
That's why she is so pretty,Blue-----kad2kar
-
I think the only way someone knows that they are blocked by a certain person is if they try to send them a PM. I believe they are notified then. It would be nice if certain people could feel bad when we block them, but I don't think it is so.
Mary
-
awwwwwww thank you! I would wear a sari if I were to remarry. I think they are beautiful!
-
And Blue, you would rock the sari!!
-
Off to bed. Before I go will leave this for your pleasure! Some day!
