The dark side. heheheheh! I know, I know....shouldn't read there.
-
Asshats.
-
Hi, Blue - I noticed the comments about hacking - wondered what else "she" was going to find to attack. I still find ti so difficult to imagine a woman with breast cancer, being so vicious. It's actually frightening. Almost a relief they've been banned from BCO, but they'll probably be back with new names

-
Yeah, they seem to like the colour Blue.
-
Did my comment use inappropriate language? Let me fix that.
Assclowns.
-
WELL, WE like it MORE than "they" do
-
I was wrong - this thread is very busy even if we have been sent to a room off the corner.
Susieq - before I forget (hope you are still awake) - I think Tim the busker has a crush on you.

(((Jancie))) - You'd better get a big bag next week so that we can all go to your doctors' appointments with you.
HL - You are too funny!
Greta - or Gretas? There are many. That web site is a total sham. Blue, the original one won't blame you. She will blame everyone if I'm correct.
Apple:

Bren, I am sure it is going to be awful here too. It's so worrisome to see how quickly global warming is really changing things.
E - Hope you got some fiber and protein into your system last night.
-
Forgot to welcome Nancy - WELCOME.
-
I had two boca burgers last night, Athena. Not the best meal but at least I was able to eat food.
-
I am really glad to hear that.
-
to make boca burgers good.. cook in a LITTLE olive oil with garlic, .. I like them with plain toast.
-
I just ate them plain, straight out of the microwave. No bread or anything. They're.....interesting.
-
Are you having tummy problems E?
-
Cindy....a few pages back you asked about my dogs name. She came with the name Roxy so we just kept it. Didn't want to confuse her more.
-
Hi Nancy and welcome. Athena, just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.
-
It's the Arimidex, Blue. It kills my appetite.
-
I love that saying, Barbara. A related one is, "I'm not paranoid, I'm convinced."
-
Damn E! Isn't there anything you can take? I know when I started my PD meds they made me sick so my Dr. prescribed domperidon.
-
Love that one.
DH is taking me out to our favorite French restaurant tonigh to celebrate our anniversary. This place is great. They have a 5 course prix fixe (sp?) dinner for 25.99. Can't beat it. And they have the best profiteroles in the world. I will take pictures and share.
-
I've been looking for this thread all morning. Glad to see it's still busy. I've added it to my favorites.
Barbara enjoy your evening.
-
Barbara .. have a great time tonight! And congrats again. Where are you cruising to this fall? I really enjoyed the pics of your last cruise.
Enjoyful .. how about some medical marijuana, or even some not so medical marijuana. I am sure they must grow a specific kind these days just for appetite. Of course don't look for MM in VIrginia, they'll throw your ass in jail.
Blue .. sounds like our Ray of sunshine has a really nice day planned with his daughter. Just sorry you couldn't make it.
Well .. I'm already done for the day ... been to walmart, returned the movies and watered the yard. Geez .. it's too hot to do anything else. Already 102 here. May watch old movies on t.v. today since Mr. Tim is on the road this weekend. wahh ... it's lonely when he's gone so long.
Hugs all round,
Bren

((Bren)) I can relate. My DH hates it when I travel and next week I travel to LA on Wed., demo on Thur. and back on Fri. Ugh. It is 7+ hours to get there (no non-stop from TPA). But the good news is, that trip gets me a free round trip on Southwest and my step-daughter will be coming from Seattle for Thanksgiving. Woo Hoo! she is a cool kid (well, she is 41).
-
E - so sorry about the Arimidex. So strange how we all react do differently to the same drug. I gained 40 pounds on Arimidex. Thank goodness I was only on it for 9 months! Obviously, it didn't hurt my appetite at all.
ETA: Welcome, Nancy.

It's also strange how the generic version (of Femara this time) can cause all the aches and pains I had with Femara for the first 6 or 7 months! Started Femara 3 years ago this September. other than tummy enlargement, all the SE's seemed to have disappeared. My insurance decided 3 months ago that generic Letrozole (by TEVA) was good enough for me, and the aches and pains started all over again. Hurts like crazy to get up and walk after I've been lying or sitting for ANY length of time, I feel like I'm 90 years old. Ugh!Sure hoping that the studies being done on grapeseed extract are all positive, so that we can all go off these f**king drugs! I live in wine country -- it could be a new industry here, woohoo!!!
-
Linda, I take grapeseed extract along with myomin, turmeric, DIM and others and I feel fine, except for the hated hot flashes that came back with a vengeance.
-
I'll be starting the generic Femara later this week. I still have lots of aches and pains. Don't like the idea of them being worse one bit. Last week my back was so sore I was in tears.

We are descended form William Wallace's brother. He was more cooperative with the English than his brother but my stubbornness had to come from somewhere.

Be sure to read the thread about AI SE's that Lowrider started. It has some wonderful suggestions about how to deal with SE's. I learned so much. I started what would hopefully be a Shorter thread, about Specifics for dealing with SE's - cuz like so many threads, the one Lowrider started has turned into a chatty community of women ( is that a surprise
)So ask questions on the long thread, we're always repeating stuff for "newbies" - all the AI's seem to have similar SE's. It gets easier, after our bodies kind of 'get used' to no Estrogen.
I an SO SORRY ((((((E))))) you're having problems. That's one SE I've never had. I think might be the only one, but any SE is a bummer. Still, we know this stuff is good for us. Alpal & I have had the same SE - but I'm now amost, in a few days, into my 5th year

I tell friends, that if the Pillsbury Dough Boy ever wants a date with a "look alike" - I"m available

-
Where is everyone??? I just finished a report and now I'm bored with Mr. Tim gone.
hugs,
Bren
