All sorts of things to think about someone who actually comes through the end of a rainbow. -
( ( ( ( (Chickadee and Enjoyful) ) ) ) ) -
(((chickadee))) We'll all be here to put you in the circle and hold you close as you beat the crap out of those nasty suckers.
E ... you get your buttinski in there too. Hope whatever chemo you choose is kind to you. Did I already tell you that you and Sampson are awesome? If so ... well I'm telling you again. -

Blue -- just fantastic.

Need to go and instruct Ray on winterizing the backyard. Have a great Sunday! -
Morning Everyone ... oops .. guess it's past noon now!
Blue .. Love the picture with the purple shutters. And of course the bulldog! Hope you and Ray get the winterizing done today. I need to blow and rake leaves, but I haven't even walked the dogs yet. Moving so slow today. Tim left about 9:30 this morning and all I've done since then is post pictures of my grandsons on Facebook. It's so much easier to post them on FB as an album than to try to email everyone who wants to see the pictures.
Jackie .. I am a coffee addict. I have a pot on all day long.
Guess it's time to put on my shoes and head outside
hugs to everyone .. especially Chickadee.

Such beautiful thoughts and pictures from everyone. I hope we can all have a peaceful Sunday amongst all of this angst of late. Special hugs to Chickadee and Enjoyful. I have no answers for "fear" myself. Some would say "faith," but that doesn't necessarily work for all, including me. Living right? Living fully? Surround ourselves with the people and things we love. Still figuring that one out one day at a time. -

Blue,
Thank you for the beautiful pictures. They certainly provide respite for my soul. -
(((((Chickadee and Enjoyful ))))) - we are here gathered around you both, holding you up with our love and care. We will be right here, sending you our love and strength to make it through these latest tribulations and triumph. -
oh Blue, you outdid yourself. Wonderful color and love. Thank you. I've gotten some encouraging posts from others who came out the other side of WBRT and are doing well. It all helps. So much. -
((( Chickadee ))) ... so glad to hear you have heard about positive outcomes with WBRT. Will keep you close in my thoughts tomorrow as you start your new treatment.
love and hugs,

Kam....those were some extra-ordinary laughs. How often we have seen similar instances here. I had told each of the house dogs ( I have a couple of rescues ) before I ever brought them inside, that there were cats inside and that as the newcomer, it was THEIR job to get along. They all do well, after a couple of "incidents". There is a lot of sleeping together and licking now.
As far as getting along through fear or upset or loss or whatever. During chemo ( it all went down hard no matter what adjustments I tried ) but the only thing that worked for me and one which I still find I need to use on occasion for several different things............I tell myself that all I need to do is to get through the next ten minutes. That way, it is the only time I need to worry about. I stop worrying about the ten minutes that just got done......they are gone anyhow and their outcome then became relatively un-important. So, I start on the next ten feeling that worrying or being upset for anything but that ten minutes would not be at all productive since you can't save up worrying for the future or even some time later on, like you can other things.
It always surprises me when I'm able to get through a whole day without transposing mental anguish way too far in advance -- what is going to happen pretty much is going to happen but if I can save myself from experiencing it over and over long before it happens, then I can reduce some of the stress of things that are painful or not good at all in some way.

Flowers on a chair, a weathered chair, oh my. Wanna hear my heart...pit, pat, pit, pat, pit, pit...really MUST get a new inkjet printer so I can print them out. Have a 7 year old ( since when is 7 years old??)jeez, and need one that uses cartridges I can REFILL. Yikes, the printers themselves aren't expensive - but the cartridges. Phew. Have been refilling for years with excellent quality ink, works fine, La, the printer head is on the way to heaven. Like land line phones, cheaper to buy new than replace old batteries. Somehow, this has never made sense to me...
Quinoa cooked, chicken almost ready..happy dinner everyone.
In one of those "new age" seminars I did years ago, there was an interesting diagram for FEAR
F = fantasy
E = expectations
A = appearing
R = real
As an expert at making myself crazier worrying about things, I've often thought of this. It isn't real, it may become real, but fearing it only prolongs the pain. What is feared may not happen. Think Michael J. Fox has addressed this too.
Kam - I use the word HOPE for when most use Faith, feeling the hopefulness that things will work out...sometimes helps in very hard times for me. -
Sending Peaceful Thoughts to all of you.-----kad2kar
