TARD, The Grumpy GOP
-
Stripes falling slightly this morning. I made it to the second round of interviews for my job.
This round consists of four separate interviews and a written portion. The only thing I'm not doing is giving these people a blood sample. :-) That's what happens when institutions can have their pick of candidates. You get run through the ringer.
Gulp!
Hope the meteor proves to be a good portent.
-
Finally saw the Wabbit's youtube - ROFL! Too, sweet!
-
Enjoyful, lol!
Athena, good luck!
-
Athena, sending good thoughts with you!!
-
Hang in there, Athena.
-
Best wishes, Athena.
-
Adding in our best wishes for a great round 2 interview, Athena!
-
((((Athena)))) No matter what -- like Tony the Tiger --- YOUR GREAT.
-
Athena, you go girl! Can't keep a good lioness down!
-
You can do it, Athena! Wonderful news on making the second round.
Now off to the post-Valentine's Day sugar crash that is an elementary school the day after Valentine's Day. Anyone who thinks sugar does not affect children has not worked around them! At least it's Friday, and the Friday of a 3-day weekend!

Athena ... this job must be in charge of that 'red nuclear strike button' or something. Talk about overkill on the interview thing! Good luck! I sure hope they don't make actually doing the job as complicated as getting it.
Grumpy cat is cute! I must object to Tardis being associated with the GOP in any way ... it's cat abuse

-
-
If I had a dime for every eyeball that has been rolled at me today, I would be rich. Sooo glad it's Friday.

-
Good luck Athena!
-
Belinda, thanks for the heads up re: maggie smith on 60 Minutes- I'm not a regular viewer, so I would have missed it.
Athena - yikes. Joining the group yelling "hire her already!!!" I mean, really, you're already DOING the $@%^%$ JOB!
Spring is here today, and is probably checking out & going somewhere else by tomorrow, when we're supposed to get 6 inches of snow.
Anybody else making a list of who they want at Ground Zero when the next meteor hits? My "candidate" is from Texas, but wasn't born in USA, so thank God can't run for President someday...I mean REALLY, confirm Secretary Hegel - we know the system is in deeeeeeeeeeeep dooooo-dooooooo, when a Presidential appointment is filibustered, no mattter what it's called, it is NOT "Advise & Consent"
Have I said lately how PROUD and happy I am that President Obama is President of the United States?
-
I send my well wishes to Athena,also..........BUT what will happen with our Art classes and Fashion shows? Can someone please answer that----kad2kar
SERIOUSLY,wishing Athena GOOD LUCK!!!
-
Friday fun challenge: can you find the cat in this pile of junk?

-
Thank you for all you well wishes, wonderful pridemates.
I am done for the day.
Yeah, you'd think, after all this interviewing (and writing assignbments) that I'd actually be someone IMPORTANT, right??? Still a pebble on the proverbial (North Sea) beach, I'm afraid.
Oh kad, you've still got fashion shows and art classes coming no matter, what, believe me!

Yorkie - I think I see a little grey face peering out towards the bottom midde, but I'm not sure.
-
Athena, when you see it you'll know for sure!

-
yorkie - I GIVE UP!

-
I couldn't find it either until I got a hint. The cat is in motion.
-
I see it, I see it! Hint -- it's white and grey. Good challenge, Yorkie. Thanks!
-
and that helped you find it because....
jeez - and I used to be good at finding waldo

-
I JUST saw it - incredible. The little white and grey thing, walking as though it were strolling down the Champs Elysees!
-
I found it, but I look for details when I work, so I am used to it.
-
Ok, here's another hint. It's on the left.
-
You're welcome Linda! Athena, the cat probably feels like it's in heaven. What a treasure trove! And who knows how many mice are lurking in that pile!
-
Found it but needed my extra extra reading glasses!
