NO MORE POSTING LIMITATIONS FOR NEWBIES
-
I think there is also a slight modification and I am wondering if the moderators could clarify. This is my understanding:
First, the five-post-a-day limit does not go by CALENDAR days but by 24-hour period which makes sense, obviously. ALSO, and I may be wrong, but it was what I think I experienced: if you have FEWER than 50 posts by the end of the tenth 24-hour period then you are still subject to the rationing. Therefore, you are not allowed to post as often as you like until you have reached EITHER 10 calendar days since registering OR fifty posts, whichever comes LAST.
Is this correct?

Athena....You are right when I said one day I really meant 24 hours.
Thanks. I will clarify that right away.
PLEASE LET'S DO OUR BEST TO KEEP THIS THREAD ACTIVE

Agreed on keeping this thread active - great idea. I wish there was a forum heading with something like "If you are new to BCO, please read here"....but far be it from me to ask for even more forums - lol! The number we already have is astounding.
-
Im not sure about not having 50 posts but be clear by the 11th day.
Do they count the day when you were registered day one???????
If anyone knows please let me know I will edit it.
Maybe I will send a PM to the Moderators

I am patiently awaiting my "graduation" to 50 posts.
There are so many threads I want to respond to, ask questions in, etc. But I can wait. I have recently gotten used to having to wait!
I'm glad I found this site so quickly after my diagnosis and that I have a little bit of time before surgery. Because I'm sure I will have even MORE questions. When I go in for consultations (with PS, BS, oncologist) they continue to be surprised how much I already know about my pathology and different options I have...... I totally attribute that to this wonderful site and the amazing women that share their experiences here. I feel I can talk more intelligently with the dr's and am able to make more informed decisions. Thank you. I feel empowered!

SusansG you can always PM other members and ask them to post questions for you until you can post without limits.
Edit to add PM=private message

Thank you. I was wondering how long the five posts in 24 hours lasted.
