GRRRRRRRRR I HATE LE..........

Tina337,
If my LE showed and someone asked, I would discuss LE along with ongoing BC. I still have to tell individuals that I am not cured.
-
I truly do not like people to ask....BUT....if they do I tell them....I have found that it stops them COLD...and wishing they did not ask.....I always END the conversation with.....Please do NOT feel sorry for me and my husband.....that is not what we want.................I myself would never ask a person.....I try to treat people with respect and dignity....Liz

Denise, when you bought the Marena group bra, did you buy online or a store? Wierd as I thought the web site as some good looking stuff but they do not list distributors in the US
funny folks, I need some new bras so...
-
IProudtospin - I bought one directly from Marena and two from amazon.com
They really have good stuff. I've not been able to find anything to compare with it.
And they are made in USA!! Imagine that!
-
so you bought them from the web site without trying on? I sort of like to try mine on..
I do like to buy made in usa as well
have to think about buying without testing
-
Wow, Denise, their sleep bra looks like it would be great for LE:
http://marenagroup.com/garmentstore/product/tabid/199/p-117-sleep-bra.aspx
Has anybody tried it? The back covers well, the straps are wide--really unusual. Looks comfortable, too! Thanks for posting that!
Binney -
Binney4 - that does look great! Mine is similar, but that one looks great for sleeping!
I am just so pleased with their products. I think you would be as well.
-
Got back to my LE therapist yesterday - He took one look at my breast and said - ooooooooo you are swollen girl! - Good news is that my arm measurements only gained a few cm since surgery... so back to my MLD and I will be good.. hopefully.
-
GmaFoley,
Pleased you're on the mend.
-
Gma, the light at the end of the tunnel!
So glad you're back on track after that detour. Stay well!
Binney -
Now all I wish is that I wasn't so depressed...
.. Guess that will come if I ever start walking again..
-
I enjoy cooler walking in the fall.
-
Need to ask something... For the first time in weeks I decided to get a Papa Murphy's take-n-bake pizza.. I ate it for dinner last night... today I feel very very bloated and torso seems swollen... Is that salt that did that?? I have never felt this way before... Been feeling this way all day...
-
sure could be, try drinking extra water and see if it helps
I know I can tell when i eat out takeout as my cooking is usually....undersalted!
-
GmaFoley - ever have any trouble with Gluten? I became allergic to gluten during chemo along with dairy and just about everything else! Most of the allergies have gone away, but the gluten one remains. I have mucus and horrible cough, but some people get the symptoms you describe. Or it just could be sodium.
-
I have been drinking water all day - just started back doing MLD yesterday - my good arm is swollen again... I am the most uncomfortable I have ever been since LE...
Denise - no trouble with gluten and know all about that one - my DIL has a gluten allergy...
-
alergies are wierd and can come out of the blue, guess that brand of pizza should be on the no no list now or at least till you can figure it out
hope you feel better soon, ooo if it is an alergic reaction the docs will likely tell you to take something like benedryl, I won't suggest that as I am alergic to the benedryl~~

My grrr... for the day: I called my fitter's office to see if my sleeve & glove came in. I ordered in early Aug. They are 45 minutes away and I start teaching on Tues. so I thought I could get over there before the weekend if it happened to be in yesterday's mail. She said "no, not yet" but I can mail it. UMMM... No... Last time you didn't mail it on time and I couldn't return it for a better fit because by the time I got it and wore it a few days it was too late. So I get a message later saying she double checked, and my insurance didn't preauthorize it yet, so it is not even ordered. She called BCBS and they said it was assigned to someone so wait another week. So I am a month or so from new garments, and the old ones are driving me nuts!! I would love to tell the fitter to go fly a kite, but I live in northern WI and the next closest place is 1 1/2 hours away and out of network, so the insurance is a pain. I would like to visit the insurance minion holding this process up, show her my incredibly hot and ugly sleeve/glove and say... "if I were looking to cheat your company, would I choose THIS????". Geez!!

may I just say
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I hate LE
maggie

may I just say
GRRRRRRRRRRR I hate anything that has to do with constricting my body such as a glove/shaper/sleeve. Tight clothes are bad enough. That makes me think......I wonder if anyone has seen a person wearing a sleeve at a nudist camp?
Oh my goodness, I think I have a twisted brain tonight, Better get off before I do any more damage to my reputation.... and no I don't frequent those places!
-
-
Hugz I think I am learning quickly how I hate constriction - Mind you, I only have mild LE but man, don't know how you all do it!!! DH says he was bloated the other day and is wondering if I have a bug.. All I know is that my whole trunk and breast were so swollen yesterday and after self MLD I wake up to swelling again - binder feels twice as tight as it was 2 days ago.. sports bra doesn't even cut it at the moment.. I loosened the breast binder and put it on... when will I breathe again - GRRRRRRRR ......At least self-MLD did seem to help my good arm go down a bit.. we are still stumped in what is causing that arm to swell... Been re-routing the MLD AGAIN..
-
Praying all has a great weekend with no sunburn, extra swelling or cellulitis!!! Please all lets give Binney and Kira a break this weekend *wink* *wink*
-
Hi,
Ultrasound okay!! I'll take it slow and easy this Labor Day weekend.
-
Thank you GMA- I appreciate your imput. I will ask my PCP about the drops. Hurting today. Hurting everyday, tired and annoyed.
-
Hugz, you crack me up

Teka, I just love good news! Celebrate! Chocolate!
Christine, I hear you, and I'm so sorry!
Feel better,

Here's my angry story for today. I got measured two weeks ago and I was hoping my ready wraps would be in this week or next week. I got a phone call Wed to give them a call. I missed them closing by three minutes and she was out the office Thursday. Well I called Friday and she wanted to let me know that insurance still says I owe the deductible. Well dud didn't I tell you when you fitted me we have new insurance and I will be meeting it again and just hope that the PT bill gets there first. Her reply was that she was holding off hoping it would get filed but I told her they don't file till the end of the month. So I had to give her $500.00 deposit so she can place the order. I am mad. That means another few weeks....and no I have not been wrapping my thighs because what's the use. I stand up go to my car and before I get back with my child they are at my knees. I am also puff and swollen but what can you do when you are on a liquid soft diet. Broke another tooth off and they had to pull...I didn't see paying $2000 to crown the back molar.
Chocolate anyone.
