Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
I'm in decimal point land as well - down .4. But it's moving in the right direction. After a week of time-change blahs last week, I finally buckled down and got back on track this week with exercise and food intake. I feel better so hopefully it will start showing on the scale soon.
As for keeping track of each week's weight, I have a Wii Fit, and I only weigh on that Wednesdays for the weigh-in - that way I know exactly where I am from the week before. I use a regular scale for daily weigh ins and to post on loseit.com. I only use whole numbers there so I don't drive myself crazy with daily decimal fluctuations.

Down another 2lbs..................Doing great with this hypnosis stuff............Actually I think it took over my brain....................never eat past full anymore, and I'm constantly in touch with my "think, are you really hungry"............................most times, I'm not...........
-
ok I am joining you girls on the weight lose journey. I lost .4 big deal! but it is a start...lol....I started exercising on Monday also.....good luck to us all.
-
ducky - Great!!
-
Up 1 to 1.5 lb. I want to get a digital scale easier to read. No exercise this week (probably the problem) due to really cold, wet, windy weather.
-
Ducky - great!! How much have you lost since beginning-and how long since you started- using that hypno?
-
Well, as predicted, I am up 1.8 lbs. It could have been MUCH much worse!
I did go out last week and buy some new pants - actually down to a size 16 now and people are really noticing! Too bad the scale doesn't drop so well, but I know that I am much healthier since excercising regularly!! Hard to believe now that 2 years ago I was sporting size 22!! Funny though, my weight at my heaviest was only 25 pounds more than I am right now!
Ducky - it looks like you finally found the magic recipe for you!! Congrats!! I know how you had been struggling!
I too weigh in on Wednesdays only on my Wii fit board - because I KNOW it is accurate! I also only post on loseit.com on Wednesdays. Daily weigh ins are on my bathroom scale - but I can never be sure where I am on it as I can get on 3 times in a row and get a different weight each time (not by much, but still!!).
Wishing everyone the strength and motivation to continue on this weight loss journey!
-
when you exercise you ARE more slender no matter what you weigh. I am wearing pants a size smaller without losing any weight since I started a serious (as in every day) exercise program. And I think regular toning is the main secret to the size drop.
That said, only down in the decimal points also .2...I've had a rotten cold, so haven't eaten that much, but what I have eaten has been more in the form of comfort food.
Hooray for all of us for making the EFFORT!

Muscle weighs more than fat!
-
So far 11lbs lost.........
-
Wow!
-
Mary Louise 22 down to 16 - way to go! 2 years ago I was bursting out of 16 now they are hanging on me and I really need to buy new clothes but want to wait until I lose a little more. That won't happen if I keep having binge days like today. I'm the same weight as last week but ate lots of junk today starting with stuff people brought in to work. So getting back on track tomorrow.
-
Great idea weighing with the Wii Fit board! Ducky and Mary Louise, way to go, girls!
-
congrats Mary Louise!
-
Slow and steady (with some back tracks!
) will WIN this race! ...... Eventually!
Imagine where I can be in 2 more years!!!
-
Ha, Mary Louise, sounds like we have the same scale. If I don't like the weight it shows, I just try a few more times, perhaps turn the scale 90 degrees, and chances are I will get something better, so not tooo accurate. I do love that I am always heavier on my scale than at the doctor's office, usually by about 3-4 pounds.
Down 1 this week. Hmmn, I think it was sweat. It's been really hot around here for the last week.
Welcome Candie!!!
-
Kimberly - Yeah, what's up with those Dr. office scales anyway?
-
Thanks Kimberly
-
I ALWAYS weighed in heavier at the Dr.'s office.... until I started weighing in on my Wii!! Am VERY happy I got the Wii board for that reason alone!! I hated the shock of finding out that I weight between 5 - 7 pounds heavier than I thought I did!!
-
Hi all, sorry I have been out of touch. Doing better, recovering from a wee bout of pneumonia. When I was in the hospital I ate well... hospital food... and what do you think might have happened???? Yes! You gals are SO smart-- up 2 pounds. That is off now but not sure what I weight now. My appetite is all over the place--some days are hungry days and others, absolutely NO hunger or desire to eat.
Ducky-- still waiting on the tapes in the mail. Hopefully by the end of this week...I ordered from the vendor with the lowest cost hence the turtle delivery service.
This week has been very good on the chemo-- little nausea but some fatigue. Still working and still laughing at the absurdities of life--
Hugs to you all, Q

Well I got on the scale and I am down a total of 7+ lbs since my high point. yeah. I broke a plateau this weekend. Hope it continues to gradually come off-- hard to look down at an expanded waistline. But, the truth is I feel so much better with that edge taken off. So I have no real complaints!! Q

Quaatsi - Yayyy!!!
-
Down a pound. The secret is to weight loss is to chaperone 300 middle school kids when they have an 'Activity Night'!!!!!!
-
Down 2 lbs to 164.5 - helped along by a stomach bug picked up over the weekend
- I know that is temporary, but it was nice to see such a low number on the scale!
-
Weight stayed the same and Yikes, summer is coming. I better get my butt moving for exercise.
-
Down 2 lbs since last week. 15.5 so far since January! Yay. but a drop in the bucket. Still have 60 to go!!
-
I thought the Wii scale was wrong!! Now I'm thrilled that the digital scale must be wrong???
-
per weight watchers I lost 1.6 lbs this week...hooray...every little bit helps.
hugs
-
Down .7 - not much but still moving in the right direction!
Ihopeg - congrats on the fabulous weight loss!! Ruth - if chaperoning 300 middle school kids is what it takes to lose weight, then I think I'll stay plump!!! Yikes - what a workout you must have had with them! Quaatsi and Pat - hope you both get healthy soon.
And yes, doctors are very mean to have to scales around with the extra 5 or 10 pound weights attached!
-
162.5 this morning. Still in the weight range, but I bought a lot of veggies yesterday and am determined to get on track and lose 10 lbs.
Congrats to those who lost this week.
