Teka, what's a michagin?  Is it the name of the stand or a special kind of hot dog.  I've been craving a chili dog with cheese lately and I've never even had one!

Annie, thanks much for the chuckle!  That was funny, lawyer, eh!!! I hope you did finally sleep.  I hope no heartburn today, and I know the second and third days are the hardest, aren't they?  Don't worry about me, I am not stressed, but I do want to relay to people not to be quiet, because we could be the change for our younger generation.  I believe that when something very wrong is going on, we all can unite and make changes.  I hope for a better world for my children and grandchildren.  You made me sound beautiful, so thank you, every little compliment help.

Painting - Yeah!  Good news!  All is well!  Happy dance with my big hips!!!!!!! ha! ha! ha!

Heather - I wish you the best on a great job.  and a Picnic this weekend sounds fabulous!  I will try to make time for the beach this weekend.  Weather here is gorgeous!  A little bit of breeze and very tolerable heat.  Love love love it.

Everyone - have a great Wednesday!

    mccrimmon324,

Michigan is a hot dog in a bun with (sweet or hot) meat sauce.   Garnish choices only   ---   mustard, ketchup, and onions.

I had such good news with my mammo. Thank you for sharing in my joy and relief. One year feels great. By the way a tomographic mammogram is like a PET scan. So I essentially get a Pet scan of my breasts  and 6 months later an MRI of my breasts. So 2 intense looks in one year.

Not used to this format either.

Painting - congrats on the mammo, and I would love to have the (2) looks.  I only get a yearly regular mammo.

I know this is off topic ladies, but let me just share that job hunting sucks!!!  How come all these potential employers don't see how awesome I am?  LOL.

Aww, Heather....You should have put us cyber gals on your reference sheet.  We would make it clear that you are AWESOME!!!!  Especially if we had our big ole cancer kickin boots on!!!!

So let me get the hot dog thing right.   Teka are you having Michigan hot dogs while in New York??  I love a good hotdog no matter what state I'm in.   Dang, now I am hungry for a hotdog

I spoke to Navyson today.  He will be deployed to Okinawa, Japan come November.  He will be there for 6 to 12 months.  (Boo-Hoo).

On that note,  with this being the Memorial day holiday, please remember to say a prayer for those that have lost their lives serving our country.  And if you see a vet or active member of the military, please take a minute to thank them for their service.  They appreciate the sentiment.    America is the land of the free BECAUSE of the brave.

Teka....How about ole upstate NY Hyde's Coney's or Rochester NY's garbage plate dogs.

Heather..... you have to go to a center that does tomographic mammos- like Dana Farber and MGH...this must be one in Philly or NYC.  Dana Farber and MGH are the only ones that have the technology in Massachusetts.

Heather - yes, job hunting really does suck!   I hope you find something real soon!

Congrats to everyone finishing up chemo!!!

Mags..we are hoping to go to Mexico..maybe next summer..I can hardly wait....all inclusive is the way to go.

I really dislike this new format and I am having a hard time with my new laptop...old dog, new tricks..kinda thing

ok..I jogged 4 miles and walked 2 today...took me 80 min  kinda slow but 6 miles was a first for me...it was while the old sod (here's to you Cocker) was golfing  lol

My favorite hot dog is a Hebrew National or a Sugardale all beef hot dog with coney sauce, onions, ketchup and mustard and relish....oh man...once you go beef you never go back...lol

remember awhile ago..I told you all about my friends daughter who is 26 and has tn?  She is in hospice now...she has dealt with this for almost 2 years....26 years old...she has undergone several trials at the Cleveland Clinic...this totally sucks but, but...her participation in the clinical trials may help someone that is 26...or any age down the road...small solace I know...but her dying...and yes she is will hopefully not be in vain.......

CS, loved the lawyer post, glad you're doing better with the Taxol, I had trouble sleeping the day of chemo too, I'm exhausted right now since I only had 2 hrs of sleep early this morning, gonna try to go to bed early tonight to catch up.

Weekend plans, every year for Memorial weekend we have a family tradition of going camping at Morro Bay with my parents, oldest bro's family, our family, and my cousin's family, but due to chemo and fatigue we have decided to have a backyard campout for the kids and DH's from my family, my cousin's family and my BFF's family, the women and baby (my niece who's 1) will sleep indoors on comfy beds hee hee. It should be fun we're gonna roast marshmallows, make s'mores, roast white corn/sweet potatos, have hamburgers, and hot dogs (minus sweet or spicy meat sauce, but with onions, ketchup, mustard, tomatoes, relish...), pork belly with Korean fixings, Kim chee stew, udon, ramen, bacon, eggs, and toast, of course not all in one day. Sorry if I made anyone drool!

Teka, I'll have 2 dogs with spicy meat sauce and the works please and of course a diet coke, gotta watch my figure, hee hee!

Titan - what a terrible, terrible shame about your friend's daughter - way too young for that to happen. My cousin's daughter was the same age, died of a brain tumour and was the single mom of a 3 year old. He's being raised by her parents now. I am hoping to beat this FC but, to be honest, at least I have lived a full life. So, if it's not to be, so be it. I just feel so sad for the young women or the ones who have young children at home and hope that they all get to live their lives to the fullest and see their children grow up. I will pray that she doesn't suffer and that her family can cope.

Titan, so sorry to hear about your friend's daughter. That's very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family.

LuvRVing, hope you and your daughter have a blast in Paris. It's such a special city.  My DH proposed at the Jardin du Luxembourg (off Boulevard St. Michel...near the Sorbonne).  It was the most beautiful place ever. It you can fit it in your schedule, try to go there.

Michelle - Wow!  Have the greatest time of your life?  Is there any space in your suitcase to take me with you?  Enjoy every moment, you deserve it.

Titan - So very sorry to hear of a 26 year old being in hospice.  My goodness, how sad!

Sugar - It must have been a most romantic proposal in such a romantic city!

I had my thyroid biopsy today. The tech. lady said don't worry, it looks pretty benign to me.  I just wanted to hug her.  I thanked her profusely.  I hope she is right.  I am not sure though whether I want to hear the results before the long weekend or enjoy my long weekend to the fullest and then hear the news next week.  In any case, I guess I have no control over when they call me with the news.

Titan - I am so sorry for your young friend. My aunt had IBC, and was in the first taxol trials. I know I have some comfort in her blazingy trail.

I envy your energy! I will try to take your inspiration and get myself moving!

Naan - your weekend sounds wonderful! I like where the girls get to sleep indoors ;)

Annie - loved the story. Hope you are on your way to feeling better.

Packing up the boy, for his big, LA prom date. There are many parts of a Tuxedo, to forget to pack.
