Hi Jane and Sheila.  My name is Robin and I'm a BCO addictEmbarassed.  I have been a member since November, 2009 when I was diagnosed.  I am on here daily.  I check up on my favorite threads, and also check to see if there's anything I can do to help out someone new.  I'm still learning myself since I still feel so new at it all, but I have found BCO to be invaluable in so many ways.

I'm post-rads a few weeks ago and still come here to check in, learn info., and provide encouragement to those beginning this suck%^& journey. I especially think the later is important, most folks don't come back and provide good news about how their lives have moved on without BC in the forefront, and I'm still too emotionally fragile to want to see all of the recurrence posts, there's enough in the news about famous people recently diagnosed or having passed away.

a friend of a friend, who is now MY friend - who is fighting BC now - shared this with me.  Her brother and SIL are actually in this video.  It's done in Louisville, KY at the KFC headquarters...

I guess I will have to admit, I am am addict too. I mostly read the boards, and love to hear the B-9 stories. I will post if I feel I have something to contribute. But mostly, I have learned soooo much and continue to learn. To me, knowledge is power and it helped me through my journey. I recently was able to help a co-worker go through a biopsy (B-9), and was able to pass on some valuable information to her during her process.
