    God Will Take Care of You (Please click on this link and watch the video, it is absolutely precious)

    Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
    God will take care of you;
    Beneath His wings of love abide,
    God will take care of you.

    Refrain:
    God will take care of you,
    Through every day, o'er all the way;
    He will take care of you,
    God will take care of you.

    Through days of toil when heart doth fail,
    God will take care of you;
    When dangers fierce your path assail,
    God will take care of you.

    All you may need He will provide,
    God will take care of you;
    Nothing you ask will be denied,
    God will take care of you.

    No matter what may be the test,
    God will take care of you;
    Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
    God will take care of you.

    Tell Me the Story of Jesus

    1. Tell me the story of Jesus,
    Write on my heart every word;
    Tell me the story most precious,
    Sweetest that ever was heard.
    Tell how the angels in chorus,
    Sang as they welcomed His birth,
    "Glory to God in the highest!
    Peace and good tidings to earth."

    * Refrain:
    Tell me the story of Jesus,
    Write on my heart every word;
    Tell me the story most precious,
    Sweetest that ever was heard.

    2. Fasting alone in the desert,
    Tell of the days that are past,
    How for our sins He was tempted,
    Yet was triumphant at last.
    Tell of the years of His labor,
    Tell of the sorrow He bore;
    He was despised and afflicted,
    Homeless, rejected and poor.

    3. Tell of the cross where they nailed Him,
    Writhing in anguish and pain;
    Tell of the grave where they laid Him,
    Tell how He liveth again.
    Love in that story so tender,
    Clearer than ever I see;
    Stay, let me weep while you whisper,
    "Love paid the ransom for me."

    Well, we are traveling home and will i be glad to get there.  I was told to report at 10:00 so I could fill out papers, etc, and my MRI would be at 10:25.  We were a little early and I can speed write medical forms nowdays, so I was ready to go when they called me in at 10:30.  I told the tech I was a hard stick and had been drinking plenty of water to help out, but my need a hot pack to pop the veins out of hiding.  Well, she really tried but she had two failed attempts cusing a lot of pain for me.  She went looking for another tech to try, so two more techs came in and two more failed attempts.  They finally got their supervisor who was able to get it in a vein with return after his second try.  I am now finding I am already anxious about the iv they will need to start for my colonoscopy in two weeks.  What am I going to do when there are no viable veins to use anymore?  I came out with gauze pressure bandages on all over, and now very sore and bruised veins.

    Hi Meece, I'm visiting your thread and it very beautiful and inspiring. I'm sorry you had to go through all of that with all those needle attempts. Ouch!! When I was going through chemo, I didn't have a portacath and they used my veins. I have been always scared of needles.  I was the kid who would cry and scream with vaccinations. The doc gave me a prescription for Lidocaine 2.5%. It is a numbing cream that you apply about a half hour before an iv. It really works. Maybe it could help you for the upcoming iv.
