Meece and Lisa,
I am praying for both of you. Meece, praying for you as you wait! These are the hardest days! Love you!
-
It's going to be fine, I justy got a real peace this morning. Just need to hang on to it. Need to be focused on being with Matt this month. I haven't seen him since May of 2009.
Philippians 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
-
Thank you Meece. That is a passage we would all do well to keep close to our hearts. And we keep you in our hearts and prayers.
-
Hi Sisters.
Peace to all of us.
Meece..Do you know the dates yet/
Grace..Nice to see you.

Thank you so much, everyone. FDIL came over this morning and spent the day with me. I alter most of her clothes as she is stick thin and has to have even size 2s taken in. We chatted, she sewed buttons on, I sewed her clothes. It took my mind away from this stuff. Until I'd lean foreword and the pain would come back. If it weren't for a scare last year, I would never have found BC.org. God works in mysterious ways.
-
Just got a call from my GP. She says the good news is the micro calcifications from last year had decreased. I mentioned that it was most likely so because I had them sucked out with the bx. She agreed.
Next she said that neither the U/S nor the Mammo readings were definitive enough to make a commitment and they want me to have a MRI. Something about dilated ducts and vague areas. But I am going to take this as a positive sign, because they did not positively find BC! Wheeeeeee!!!!
-
Meece at least they are being diligent and not taking any chances. I have doctors like that too.It is a good feeling qhen you trust your drs.((((hugs Meece))) Will you be getting a chance to visit with Matt?

Just like a sunbeam can't separate itself from the sun, and a wave can't separate itself from the ocean, we can't separate ourselves from one another. We are all part of a vast sea of love, one indivisible divine mind.~Marianne Williamson ~Gill

sheila, what a bouquet!
Meece-when I had my MRI during my initial diagnosis time frame-they asked what station I wanted on the headphones & I said Christian. Put the headphones on & the song playing was "Praise You In This Storm" by Casting Crowns. He is always with us.
-
Meece - I echo the thoughts and prayers of so many others! The waiting is hard, but God is especially near, even as you wait. The verse from Phil. is so perfect. I'd like to print it on a 3 x 5 card with a floral border and put one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, one in the car, one by the bed...... We can't have too many reminders! You've had an MRI before and know what to expect? They are very precise to determine what, if anything of concern, is going on!
Thoughts and prayers are with all others who have extra concerns right now also.
-
Thank you again, everyone. 2hands I have had MRIs every year for four years, so it isn't a problem. My veins are so bad it is difficult to get the IV started, but if that is the worst of it, so be it. I just hope they can get me in soon so I can put this episode out of my mind.
Eph, I have onloy had the option of music one time. I don't remember whether I was given an option of what to listen to, but loved that she'd say "the next one is two songs long"or whatever, it made it go quickly. My first MRI (6 yrs ago) on my breasts lasted nearly two hours, my shoulders were in agony by the time it finished. The newer machines are much quicker, not much more han 30 minutes. Also, the position they put you in on the machine is more comfy with your arms being moreto your side.
Everyone, thank you for the prayers. I believe it gives me the peace through Him. I never had "prayer warriors" to go to before with these personal things. It is such a special gift that BC.org has given me.
Deb, That is a beautiful quote. I love being a part of this ocean.
Seyla, beautiful boquet. My favorite bouquet are mixed.
Mumayan, We are still waiting to find out when Matt will be heading to HA. We are planning on heading there but hope we get enough notice to get a decent price on tickets. I do love my GP. she personally called me yesterday. When I was going through BC tx, I actually got calls from her asking how things were going. Sort of old fashioned service.

I was reading up on PM's carepage and in response to the spinal tap:
"NO CANCER CELLS IN THE SPINAL FLUID!!! The doctors are ecstatic and my mom is smiling."
God is Good!!!!!!!
Today she will sign up for the chemo and trial drug.
-
Meece..I read that too and was very happy.
-
A great celebration going on in PM's house I am sure.
-
She is a wonderful woman.♥

Indeed.

Praise Be!!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY
1. To God be the glory, great things he hath done!
So loved he the world that he gave us his Son,
who yielded his life an atonement for sin,
and opened the lifegate that all may go in.Refrain:
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the earth hear his voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father thru Jesus the Son,
and give him the glory, great things he hath done!2. O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
to every believer the promise of God;
the vilest offender who truly believes,
that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
(Refrain)3. Great things he hath taught us, great things he hath done,
and great our rejoicing thru Jesus the Son;
but purer, and higher, and greater will be
our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
(Refrain) -
(((Meece))) Think positive as so far is it potentially good news. I am praying so hard for you!!!! You are Triple Negative and you know that hits home to me.

Eph3_12, I thought of you today. When I got in my car after returning on the light rail from my rad treatment, I turned on the radio and what song should be on, but "Praise You in this Storm." It was just beginning, too, so I got to hear it all. One of my favorites, as well.
Hope everyone is having a good day today.
-
Good timing to hear that song! God has such a sense of humor!
