    hello all,

    For those of you that are afraid of the nuclear medicine injections like me, please share this:

    About 2 hrs before the injections, I put in 30g of EMLA cream on my breast, took a pill Xanax, and happy hour drug in my iv, I had 2 shots with no pain at all. I also had some mapping before I went in for a 2nd lumpectomy and sentinel lymph nodes surgery.

    I'm waiting for my pathology report now before starting my radiation in a month.

    Dx: DCIS AND IDC. Don't know my stage and grade yet.

    My hormone receptors ER-, PR- HER+.

    I'm lately starting to have some anxiety attack and very emotional after surgery. It was too quick to accept this dx.
