I am battling a cold but doing well.....*sneeze* hope you are warm snug and healthy:)))) I am looking so forward to meeting you and Granny this spring.
-
Granny, you & I ........hugs
My health is OK and my house is warm.

I never realized until I was dx with bc how many very young women with small children are suffering from this disease! My heart just breaks for them. It's very hard for me to go on the threads where they are dx with Stage IV, but if you do, you will find many inspirational stories of survival against tremendous odds. I count my blessings every day that I lived to be 71 years before having to face this challenge. I raised 4 kids as a single mom, and don't know how I would have done it back then. I always thanked God for my good health.
-
I too never realized how many women are affected by this disease until I was diagnosed myself. I was truly shocked to learn how many women have to go thru this and how many angels we continue to lose.... It is so disheartening but as Sheila said, the Stage IV boards showcase some very special ladies.
Sheila, sounds like you need a hug ((((hugs)))). May your friend rest in peace
-
Sheila.............you sound way too far down..................come on girlfriend, we need your cheery, bright, and wonderful sense of humor.................remember Pity Parties are ok, just as long as you don't make it an "all nighter".........................hugs to ;you..................want some of my Vodka................

Lets hope they find a damn cure in 2012.enuf!!!!
-
I saw it too. Can barely see through the tears to type. You said it granny....damn this friggin disease!
-
Haven't been on in a couple of days while I was dealing with SE's of 1st tx. So sorry to hear of another life lost to this awful disease. Sometimes it is hard to stay positive with all the sad stories around us. I keep trying to remember how blessed I am. I wish with all my heart that we had a cure for cancer, all cancers. We've come so far, sometimes it seems that a cure should be just around the corner. For all my BC sisters and brothers and their families, I wish you all a very happy New Year filled with love and many positive things.
-
((Sheila))
Rest in peace, Lynn.
Granny, I'm with you...enough with awareness...we want a cure!!

Hi Ladies............just wanted to pass on a little bit of something we all need "laughter".............Went last night to see the show "MOTHERHOOD"........................probably one of the best I have seen in the way of a musical comedy ......................if it comes anywhere near your locale, it is a must see..........I never stopped laughing...........................and laughing is so good for the soul.....................trust me on this one..............it is a real hit........................hugs.

Hey Sheila.............me too..............home alone.........was going to run over to my daughters which is 5 minutes away, but not sure I want to.............would like to go see her and my 2 grandchildren, but not sure what their plans are.............so I'm figuring I'll just sit my butt here................figure if I don't go out.........I don't have to come back.
still thinking about it though..........normally I just stay home, and honestly when no one says "if you want to come over for NY's eve your welcome"...............you kind of figure they want to be alone as a family, so that is how I talk myself out of things.................hahahahaha
