Valjean...............................you go girl................great news.................hugs
-
OK, I'll admit it...I've been sneaking into lots of your pockets when you weren't looking
. I'll be needing some tagalongs later this week when I see my PS. Had my exchange surgery almost 6 weeks ago and last night found a lump on the cancer side. Hoping it's just some post-surgical changes, but it feels odd and I suspect it's something that's going to need checking out. Wish me luck!
-
I'm saying a prayer for you Tina...
-
(((((((((((((Tina)))))))))))))
-
Valjean, great news! Would love to stay in your pocket for a while so I can see some of those leaves changing....ready for cooler weather!
Tina, hope you get good news that it's just a minor complication from the surgery. (((hugs)))
-
Val....good for you sister. I'm glad another appointment is behind you.
Tina...i'm thinking of you.
This must be a busy month in 2 weeks i have my Oncology appointment.
(((HUGS)))
-
Congrats Val- oh how i miss those michigan leaves.... and apple cider and donuts
Tina...I am right there with you buddy...i had a few scares along the way with lumps and things...scary but you're doing the right thing checking it out...I hate you having to be even worried for a minute:(
I see my regular doc for the well woman visit...hmmmm....kind of weird...remembering last year when I had it and how it set in motion this whole chain of events...see her wednesday...course I won't be getting the mammo...although the frigging imaging center called me to schedule a diagnostic mammo and possible biopsy!!!! They were reading the orders from last year...i about crawled in the phone and kicked some booty...
big hugs all
-
annette - Better wear something with big pockets or clean out some of the crap in the purse. Let me know what time you gotta be there so I can jump in your pocket and be with you.

Jona- you are welcome
Valjean- how did it goooooooo????
Seyla- I will have big pockets tomorrow morning and will keep you close. I promise not to squeeze you when I get nervous! Think I will be asking for a bone density test though before I start taking these pills so we have a base line!!!bruises from heart meds and bone density tests...sounds like a good fit, hmmm?
-
Have fun with the grandkids VAL.....GOD gift for not killin our children!!!!!
-
Geez, been trying for an hour to get connected again - was on FB & was dropped. Hate that! I still have stupid dial-up. Pain. in. the. Butt!!!
Tina, since I'll be gone later this week, please remember I will be with you in spirit. If I jump in your pocket, I'm afraid my grandkids will pitch a fit if I don't show up with Grandpa to play with 'em. I'll keep you in my prayers that what you are feeling is nothing more than a post-surgical change of some sort. ((hug))
You guys are just the best. You make me cry........ I'm so darn lucky to have found you & to have you in my life.
After the Onc appt this morning, I got in my Trailblazer & sat & took deep breaths & looked at the beautiful blue fall sky. I came close to crying....... Never thought I'd rely on an amost stranger (Onc/NP) to give me - how do I want to say this. I can't believe I still need to hear someone tell me I am doing fine to lift me up. I know you know what I mean. Then I composed myself & texted both DD's & called DH. They lifted me up higher!!!
My blood pressure was a bit high & I know the doctor appt sure doesn't help & I also have heard that the Aromasin can have a hand in that. I hope I can bring that down without having to resort to another medication. Any suggestions??
Oh, K, you certainly keep me smiling. Grandkids = God's gift for not killin' our children!!
Sandee ~ NP says I'm good to go!! I'm doing great! Bone density tests are easy, last time my was the same as previous. Still osteoporotic.
I've said it before & I will say it again, I appreciate you all so much. Sorry for being emotional...

-
Sheila - You crack me up!!!!
-
Love it Sheila.
-
-
OMG what a pocket.I think we can all fit in...
-
Sheila I love that pocket it is soo cute!! They called me yesterday and rescheduled my med onc visit so now I don't go until the 21st. Woo Hoo a reprieve for another week and a half. He really doesn't do any major testing just the normal blood work. My rad onc is the one that does the markers. I won't see him until Dec. He would really like me ot have a bone density scan since I am on Arimidex. My med onc is the one who prescribed it and he hasn't even mentioned it. I am worried that my insurance wont pay for it and I am going from having 2 insurances to having only one. Don't even have a clue wha the copay would be? So I have been putting it off... I already owe so many tidbits of monies from where the wonderful united health care doesn't pay like they should.
Val have fun at the grandkids! and with you DD
-
Sheila, they really need a "like" button on here. Great pocket!

-
Sheila, that's fabulous!
-
I am going to have to put all these pocket dates on my calendar so I won't forget - sheesh! there are a lot of them this week and next.
Sherry - Dr Club? Love it.
-
Ladies if you feel comfortable or you want me to I can post the BC related appointment dates on the top
(((Jo)))
Thanks Auntie♥
-
((((SHEILA)))) Haven't been posting much lately but do read everyday.
-
Mimi check with your PCP because if you're on an A's some insurances pay for the bone scan because they know of the side effects from the meds. My ins. only does them every other year but because I was taking A's they didn't have a problem paying for the scan.
Golly, those pockets are BIG! ((I'll be in them too so move over you guys)))
-
samsue....Bone scan or bone density?
