Granny: prayers are coming your way to keep your family safe!!! - I sure hope ducky went to daughters home...Praying very hard she did...
-
Thinking about you all on the East Coast! Hang tight or move on if you have to!!!
-
Granny..............glad your gonna be safe, but please keep in mind this is suppos to be awful.................I am back in Pa...........was not down the shore for 10 days, so I have all my patio furniture, and grill out...........air conditioners are in the windows, and they could be blown out...............the storm is coming across from Delaware, and then across the Delaware Bay.....my house sits 2 blocks from the Delaware Bay...............I'm 6 miles from Cape May, and the storm is coming right over my house..........I expect extensive damage..........was going down last night to take in the furniture, and then though..........screw it, its not worth it...........I can't move the house, so if that goes..............I won't need furniture outside...........I'm sure it will be in the pool when I get there .
My sons also have homes down the shore in North Wildwood.........both of them are at the beach........If you fall coming down the boardwalk, you are at their front door............they are surely going to get a direct hit..................a sea of water will come right up, and possiblly over their homes.....................God help us all..............stay safe Granny...............
Philly is going to be bad too.............I am going to my daughters, so I am not alone in my house......have huge trees right behind me, and a small creek...............even this house isn't safe...................I need a stiff drink......................hugs.
-
I'll be praying for all of our East Coast sisters and their families! Hopefully, it won't be as bad as they've been saying....
-
just heard from my DD in the Hamptons in LI.she said its gonna be fine...fine my ass.she is under the gun too but damn if she is gonna listen to me.the weather forecast for tomorrow is sunny and 80.sooo she says and then dont worry mom IM FINE.
My GD and GGson and my son in PA are expecting lots of rain and winds sooo i should expect lots of flooding there...
In Brooklyn where most of my family is are really under the gun..cannot get throu to them.
end of rant...Ducky is in real trouble...Im getting flashbacks of 9/11-
and i think im talkin out of my mind.just say a prayer for all of us.thanks hugggs K
-
Granny........praying for you hard girlfriend..........they just changed the path, and it is even worse for Cape May.............it is coming right across the Delaware Bay, and into my town, and then straight to Cape May................I'm Cape May Beach which is around 5 miles from Cape May proper..................the Delaware Bay is down the street from me....................Just stay safe Granny..................be careful helping others..........its a great gesture, but your important to all of us.........................hugs sweety.....
-
Granny & Ducky It sounds like the biggest problem will be all the rain - stay safe and let us know how you're doing. Once the hurricane hits landfall the wind usually diminishes. Hopefully Irene's force will.
-
Good luck to my east coast sister. Please take care and know that we are all praying for you.
-
Good luck Easties. Will be watching on the news. Be safe.

How are you sister/friend?
-
Sheila, just saw your reply.
Don't want to put a damper on your vaca, but I will say I've had a bit of a slip backwards lately....Dang it anway.......
What is that saying?? 2 steps forward - 1 step back?? I think it's more like: 1 step forward - 2 steps back for me.
Draw a little heart for me in the sand tomorrow, okay? That's me thinking of you.
♥
-
Valgean, sorry you're having a hard time lately. I would like to make a heart and send it to you too... love the way you put it in your notes.

They are evacuating parts of RI (mandatory). I hope everyone stays safe. I've been in a hurricane before so I guess the bathroom is the safest place? (No windows) I don't want to be in the bathroom with 2 cats and a litter box.:( Fill up all your water bottles and take a shower now plus get your scripts. Good luck to all
PS as usual, the people in RI are insane. The liquor store parking lot is crammed to capacity.
-
I know lots of people on facebook who are in the eye of the storm and all they talk about is either food or drink!!!!!!hmmmmmmmm WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? I feel like im the only one who is scared. And im not leaving my bldg.
-
Prayers to all my sisters who are dealing with the storm. Dear Lord please just wrap your loving arms around them and their families and their homes, keep them safe from all tragedy, strife and sorrow. Father God we ask you as humbly as we know how for it is in your holy name we pray. Amen.
Welcome to all the new sister/friends that have joined. I don't know anything personally about herceptin or Taxol as I didn't have to do those. I hope someone can answer any and all of your questions.
Prayers for you as well.
To all of you that have been helping me pray about my job... I officially resigned under the guidance of the lord yesterday. When I sat down and wrote out my resignation I felt such a burden lifted from me. It was like years of oppression had been removed. I have stepped out on faith and I am believing and trusting in God to provide me with the new and better job he has promised me. I have to be patient and wait on God which is sometimes so hard to do. Just as it was hard to resign a job without another job and knowing that I would have a way to pay bills but I know I can trust he will provide a way. Thank you all so much your prayers have been so appreciated and will continue to be appreciated as I go in search wherever he leads for that new job.
{{{{{Grannydukes}}}} please be safe we need you here sweetheart!
Renee
-
Renee--sista/friend..someone once told me when you feel like a refrigerator fell on your shoulder the minute you walk through the door of your job you betta run....I did.I retired and moved in an hour...I know my situation is different but if i would have stayed I would be in jail with bc!!!!!
If HE leads you to it HE will lead you through it.Ill keep prayin for you...I know all the sistas will be to.
It just started raining here.I never experienced anything like this.
And to think I was workin on Wall St. in NY on 9/11...Sureal.
