Hi everyone - have been MIA again
. Feel like I haven't had a holiday yet and I go back to work on 3 Feb
Fingers crossed for DHs surgery and recovery Renee.
3jays - sorry the waiting continues for you. Thinking of you always. I have found these boards to be the best anti depressant I could have found - am glad you find some support here too.
grannyd - SO glad to hear your back is feeling better! Don't overdo anything though just because you feel better.
-
Thanks for all the well wishes for DH everyone. As I posted on one of the other boards for those of you that visit E-lab too, my DH surgery will be on Thurs, Jan. 20th at 11 a.m. and he will stay overnight and come home on Friday.
I saw my plastic surgeon today and received a good report post reconstructive surgery and everything is healing very nicely and they removed my final stitches (I hope there are no more lurking). I go back in a month for another check up.
Hope everyone has a good week.
Renee

Edited to say I posted the needle picture on the wrong thread.
Sorry Val.
-
Hi Val ! Many happy returns of the day! You are very lucky to complete 59 yrs. May your health be in ful spirit.
Sheila.. how is that ? your are going to sleeping injection or are you kidding ? If you agree, you go in full meditation prior to sleep, perhaps that may work and avoid thinking for anything.
-
Happy Birthday Val!!
-

Wouldn't a sleeping injection be nice once in awhile though, Seyla?
-
Happy Birthday Val
-
I really do like the sleep you get when you go for colonoscopy - so that would be my sleeping injection

I watched this 3 year old sitting on her Mommy's lap during the interview. SAD
-
So sad. I thought the youngest was a 9 year old. Sounds like it is more common than we think.
-
GOOD NIGHT
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAL.YOU SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS MY FAVORITE(shhhhhhh) GRANDDAUGHTER.I WISH YOU HAVE MANY MORE HAPPY AND HEALTHY NED BIRTHDAYS.
-
-
Thank you, everyone, for the wonderful Birthday wishes.
I was never one to hide my age & I don't mind having birthdays. And I certainly haven't since my dx.
hugs ♥ -
I have a hard time remembering my exact age anymore. It doesn't mean as much now. I keep thinking I am a year older than I really am. I never say it out load wrong, but I have to think about it.
-
Val, Happy "belated" Birthday! Today is my mom's birthday she is 66 yrs young. I have to tell you all I love her so much. She is my rock and has supported me through thick and thin,
Take care and have a great Friday!
