Ruth: Hope your elbow stops hurting. Wonder if Advil would help. I have not watched much of the funeral.

Karen: Hope your procedure was uneventful. So happy for you with your dd coming this week!

    Walk/ran this evening.

Survived the colonoscopy. No polyps, yet still on 5 year schedule as considered "high risk". New GI doctor so first time we met was in the procedure room. I brought up my chronic constipation and he said to schedule an appointment in the office!! Seems each time I have one, it is harder to rebound. My first one 15 years ago was a piece of cake. Don't remember 5 years ago, but today it took several hours to feel relatively back to normal.

My brother is still in the ICU. I messaged him this afternoon and he said he is "making slow progress" but they are breathing for him till he recovers - meaning bipap or high flow O2. Really worried and his wife is pretty worn out. No need for me to go to Ohio as I would only be in the way.

Recorded the funeral - will watch another time.

    DD#2 arrives tomorrow :)

    Have a good Tuesday.

Glad the colonoscopy came back clean, Karen. I'm on the 5 year plan too. A friend of mine in her mid-70s was told her next colonoscopy would be her last. She didn't know if that was a good thing or not since they think you are too close to dropping dead to make it worth your while!!!

Wonderland, I do take an Advil when I go to bed, but don't want to mask any discomfort during the day to keep myself from overdoing things (rest is the only 'cure). It may be the last summery temperature day of the season here. Since we can, DH, Bruno & I are taking off for a hike at a State Park.....or maybe a county park. I should be back in time for Zumba tonight.

Ruth: I had weird back spasms the other night and had to get up from bed to take Advil. Thankfully it worked and I was able to sleep. And luckily didn't need any the next day.

Karen: Hope your brother is starting to feel better.

    Walked/ran this evening.

Ruth - gorgeous scenery. The aspens are starting to turn gold, seems early for me. I still miss the changing deciduous trees from the midwest and east coast.

A little annoyed with the endocrinologist. Through the patient portal she share the results of labs and her recommendations which was all good. So I wrote her back to see if she had shared information with my oncologist. She said she would forward labs and notes, but it felt to me that if I hadn't asked, she would not be sending them. Since she has the opposite view regarding Prolia than my oncologist, I especially want him to have the information. Got the Rx switched to mail order as it is $60 less. It was turning into a big hassle, but I messaged my PCP and she first thing in the morning faxed the Rx to the mail order pharmacy and they will ship it to the PCPs office. Makes so much more sense than for me to have to get it at the pharmacy.

My brother message me this morning that he made great progress yesterday and that the doctors listened to him. Big change from his message Monday afternoon, so feeling a little less worried.

Today was supposed to be the last day of 90s. Cooler the next two days with rain - other than recess at school, happy for the rain.

    Sweet dreams.

High 70 today with chance or rain - little cooler and same for rain.

Went to bed at 10:30 ready to fall over then in bed wide awake - so get up, go to family room and what do i do - M and M's and Triscuit. This habit of eating has to STOP!!! Eventually fall asleep and get back into bed and up even before alarm at 4:45.

Today is already set to be a whopper of a day at work.

Need yo get my menu planned for RH which starts Sunday night as well as for the rest of the week. I have menu was last year, but need to see what to keep and what to change. Cooking will be Friday and then Sunday - no time o cook in advance.

    Have a great Wednesday.

Cooking is a lot of work! I had told our friend whose wife has ALS that we'd bring over a meal today. Since I knew I wouldn't have time to put things this morning, I cooked all evening and was exhausted by the time I finally was done!! I know why I don't make old-fashioned meals very often anymore!

Here's the Wednesday Walking Women. It was a brisk 42 degrees this morning.
