We missed you at lunch today!!! But what a great thing to hug 2 of my September sisters. Our 2 hour lunch turned into 3 + with lots of visiting and we made plans to meet again.
How many of you can come to Las Vegas for a weekend together? We're thinking April 29-May 1 and Patty's going to look for great deals for us. If you save your pennies now, maybe you can fly out and meet us there!!!!
Hope you all survived the weather wherever you are.
Thanks so much Ronnie and Patty, What a blessing!
-
Look at us...all together in Vicki's avatar. Lunch was awesome and I wish everyone could have joined us. Here's a couple secrets I learned: 1) Vicki and Ronnie are tiny little things. I'm bending my knees in the photo so as not to look like a giant. 2) Ronnie is only "Ronnie" to us. Everyone else (except, I believe, her SIL) calls her Rhonda. But she'll always be our Ronnie.
I'm glad to hear that all our chemo-caps are getting a second life, but sorry to hear that there are so many chemo-induced bald heads out there. It is just a shame.
After meeting two of my BCO sisters...I can't wait to meet the rest of you ladies! Las Vegas here we come!

Hello SOSisters....I'm so glad you were able to get together. How I wish I could have been there. Count me in for Vegas! I will book a flight as soon as it's a definite! The more notice the better so I can put in for the days off! Maybe some of us East Coast sisters can meet in Atlanta and fly out together.
Busy at work, getting ready for inventory. DH is doing well altho he's up several times a night to use the bathroom. We're hoping that will get better. We've been talking about getting a couple of puppy dogs - we miss Sam but think we are ready to have some company around the condo. Looking a Maltese, they only get about 6 pounds. Want to get a set of brothers so they can keep each other company when we aren't here.
Ronnie, Patty and Vicki - It must have been amazing to be able to finally meet and talk and talk. Please share for those of us who couldn't be there - we were there in spirit!
Thoughts and prayers are with you. Take care.

Dear Sisters: I can't even tell you how we spent our time as it just flew by! We laughed at remembering some of our old posts and cried as we thought about our sisterhood. Las Vegas is going to be Wonderful!
Ronnie was the first sister to join (check back at day 1's posts) and we found that she has an incredible memory for details! She remembered things I'd posted and didn't remember myself!
We worried and wondered about those sisters who seem to have disappeared completely and we're hoping it's because they are doing so well and keeping so busy... though that's no excuse for not contacting us!
I was the first to arrive with my DH. We picked out a table and were there only a few minutes when I saw Ronnie and her DH drive up. There was no mistaking her face, but when she got out of the car she was the wrong height! In my mind, Ronnie was 5'8" at least but I don't think she's much taller than my 5'2"! I loved her voice and her smile from the moment she walked up... and we hugged... and we hugged each other's husbands... and we hugged some more and we shed a few tears..
We stood outside waiting for Patty and there was no mistaking her either. Except when she got out of the car she'd grown 5"! I had her pictured as 5'2" and she towered over me! And we all had hair! We hugged some more and then dismisssed the 2 DH's who went off for Chinese food together.
We ate at Yanni's which is a Greek bistro/deli.... something like that. I told the waitress our story with tears in my eyes. Then we sat and talked and talked and shared photos of grandkids and kids and talked more. We all said that we'd felt we'd known each other for years. We ate bread dipped in oil and vinegar while we talked.
It must have been an hour before we actually ordered lunch and it was a very good lunch. Ronnie and Patty had chicken skewers (chicken on one skewer and veggies on another) and I had lamb skewers. There was a small salad and some wonderful cheese crumbles and triangles of flat bread. Oh my. It tasted so good, but I hardly remember eating it because we had so much to say!
And then!!! We decided to share a dessert (thank you Ronnie for buying it) that was ... um.... can't remember the name but I remember the flavor. It was served in a large coffee cup (?) - Ronnie will remember - and it was a pudding with a chocolate layer underneath, whipped cream and strawberries on top - and very yummy.
Then we talked some more until my DH showed up and we told him to go away for another 15 minutes!!
It was hard to leave, but Patty needed to go because her son was getting home from school and Don and I had a 2 1/2 hour + drive home. This was a town where Ronnie had lived and so they headed off to visit friends. While we were there, though, she got text messages from 2 of her kids asking how the reunion was going! Her family was as excited as we were.
Before we left, we decided we needed to meet the rest of you in person and let you share in this joy which is why we chose to meet in Vegas and I even wrote it on my calendar. And NOW to know that Jane will be joining us is amazing!!
OK - now Patty and Ronnie can fill in more details!

Happy New Year everyone! I wish a healthy and love filled 2011 for us all. Am back home for a brief couple of days in between summer jaunts. The festival in Queensland was not quite under water but close to - VERY wet, VERY muddy - thank goodness for galoshes/ gum boots! In retrospect it was a bit ambitious to go as I found it very tiring and hard work. My DH enjoyed it though and the performances went well. his band is called Skorba, they play original music composed about the beauty of the Maltese islands and especially in tribute to the neolithic era temples that were builts of solid limestone all over the islands - the ruins remain today and are World Heritage listed - and these were structures built 2,000 years BEFORE the Pyramids of Egypt! Along with the music we have a set of visual slides with photographs of Malta and the temple sites. That is where i come in - I operate the visuals - have not a single musical bone in my body - I leave that to DH and son!!
We leave tomorrow for Tasmania (the little island at the bottom of Australia) for another music festival - much smaller this time - and 10 days touring around the island with our camper trailer. I hope this will be more of a holiday than Queensland was! We love Tassie having been there twice before. We have a 10 hour drive to melbourne, then catch a people and car ferry across the Bass Strait to Tasmania. Am looking forward to it and hoping the weather will be kind - not too hot and not too cold or wet (Tassie can be freezing even in mid summer) I feel for the poor people in Queensland with their homes flooded with stinking, brown muddy flood water. It has been a huge flood - an area the size of Germany and Poland together is under water there.
I LOVE the photo of the three reunion sisters - how wonderful to meet up! I am so happy for you that it was such a lovely time together.
Talk again at the end of January. Love to all my SOS sisters.
-
Neece- I am so glad you are alright, bummer about the rain but it sounds like you and the dh enjoyed yourselves.
Vicki, Patty, and Ronnie...wow what a treat it sound fabulous. You all look fabulous too. How wonderful.
Jane--glad you are doing well, hows the diet. mine is an uphill battle..
Las Vegas sounds fun, but doubt I will be able to come. I have a daughter entering her senior year, (this fall) and then college, and I just finished a long expensive year...so airfare and everything else isn't in the budget. I also promised my dh the first time we went to Vegas we would go together when our daughter was out of school (graduated), kind of hate to take that away from him after all we have been through. But you ladies have our emails we will want photos and lots of stories!

Hope everyone's doing well... I went to Mexico this morning!!! Had shrimp tacos from a streetside vendor, bought a pastry at a Mexican bakery, got hassled and harrassed by street vendors, and bought a small wall hanging of a cactus and a sun to hang outside. Glad to be home - don't know if I'll go again for a long time.
-
Gosh I've been away for the board for a while! We are so busy getting ready for our show the end of the month that I haven't had time to fritter away on-line.
Jane - Yes! Join us in Las Vegas! Puppies are so fun. I'm all for adopting two from the same family. I have two cats...brother and sister...and they just love each other, yet each has a great relationship with me too.
Barbara - I completely understandabout LV. After my laundry room flood last year, I thought this year would be much cheaper on the home front. But..it's not to be. I had the painter come to give me an estimate on touching up the exterior trim and in walking around the house looking at the trim we discovered some damaged areas. So now, before painting, I'm having the house tented for termites (!) and lots of trim replaced. Darn pests...they are eating us alive in San Diego!
Vicki - Your description of our lunch was perfect. My mouth was watering by the time I re-lived dessert. It was such a great day! I'm glad you made it to and from Mexico.
Neece - I'm so glad you checked in. In listening to the news about the floods I was hoping your trip was not affected. Have fun in Tasmania and give us an update when you get back.
I just had a 6-month follow-up ultrasound to check out the little lump my surgeon found last summer. All is well. Most likely a complicated cyst or fat necrosis...but defintely benign. I see my Onc for my 6-month check up with him on Friday. Two appointments in one week - it almost seemed like I was back in treatment. Thank heavens I'm not!
Patty

Hello SOSisters.... sorry I haven't checked in but I have quite the excuse. So I have been saying for sometime that I didn't feel good and hoped the weight loss would help. Last Tuesday, first day of diet, I had appointment with cardiologist, who immediately put me in the hospital. Seems I was having very abnormal heart rythms. I have just gotten home from spending 10 days in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit! The thing is except for being tired (but not all the time) and having some shortness of breath I had no other symptoms. They decided to try drugs to see if that would work, if not it would be surgery to shock the heart back into rthym. Fortunately the drugs took hold and we will continue on those for the time being. This may or may not have been caused by the chemo (Herceptin in particular). We will never know. I'm out another week and then can go back to work so hopefully I can get caught up on my posting.
My cousin (who did not know I was in hospital) goes next week to hear all the side effects of chemo and then will start week after. She is getting 2 drugs and radiation. I asked her the name of the drugs but she couldn't remember. She did go buy two wigs and says she can do four of anything. Told her that was the spirit.
I'm still coming to Vegas and DH is all for the trip! Says he knows how much you all mean to me and that he knows I'll have a great time. Barbara I am sorry you won't be able to join us but our thoughts will be with you and know you'll be thinking of us. We will send pictures!
Neece - so glad you are okay. How exotic it sounds to be going to Tansmania! How was your trip? Did you have a good time? Want to come to Vegas?
VickiLynn - I loved your description of your lunch and get together. It was sort of like we could all be there! Hope you are doing well.
Patty - had to postpone the trip to see the puppies. We will now have to find another litter with 2 brothers but there will be time. Sorry you are so busy at work but if you are like me you enjoy it!
Take care. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
Jane
-
Jane!!!!
I am so sorry to hear of your heart troubles. I do know the chemo can affect the heart. What a scary thing. Yes, that's a valid excuse!!
Anyway... so glad you're home. We'll all be praying those drugs go to work for you.
I hope your husband has a list of our emails or knows how to contact us through these boards. We want to know that you're doing well, but we also need to know if you're not doing well. Just yesterday I told my husband where to find my password to these boards and how to find you all --- just in case.
Patty: so glad you had good results on your test. Benign has become a great word.
Barbara: Hope you're doing well... we are sorry you won't make it to Vegas but understand.
Ronnie: Where are you? Working too hard and too much? How is that going?
Neece: Hope you're having a great time in Tasmania. I've been watching the mud troubles in Brisbane on TV. What a horrible mess.
Everyone Else: keep dancing with NED!
-
I forgot to tell you that DH bought me a bicycle today! It's a great bike - a "cruiser" which means it has no gears to fool with and the only brakes are in the pedals... sort of like my first bike! Plus he mounted a wicker basket to the front handle bars! It's seafoam green with beige, has big fenders, big whitewall tires, a big seat, looks like it's from the 1950's and is just right. (I did get to pick it out!)
But when it was time for me to get on and ride - I froze. I couldn't make my legs pedal. I just stood there with the bike. My DH adjusted the seat a bit, and told me it was OK. But I was afraid I wouldn't be able to balance it... pure fear. So I sat down and thought about it... said to myself, "you went through cancer treatments and weren't this scared!" It was so unreasonable. So I went and put on my big girl panties (thanks for that phrase from this board), put on my tennis shoes and climbed on and rode to the end of the road and back. Then I rode to the RV park office and picked up our mail and put it into my new basket.
This is good.
But I haven't got the brakes down very well and I'll need to work on that a bit.
So now I'm Line Dancing on Tuesdays and going to be bike riding on others. Whew. Thinking about all this exercise is tiring me out!
-
Hello, I did tried to post something a while ago but it got lost!!! I hate when that happens. Anyway, I hope everyone had great holidays. I took a quick glance at the posts. Sorry to hear about Jane heart and glad to hear that the pills work. Do you think Chemo has anything to do with it???
My holidays went fine, a little down in the dumps for some reason, must be the menapause thing that all the drugs from BC. I just had my nips done last week. I am still sore and some brusing. I just hope that I don't have the highbeans on all the time.
Well I hope everyone is doing fine. I will read all the post later. Just checking in.Hugs to all
.Wanda

Jane - How fortunate your cardiologist found your irregular heartbeat. I'm so glad the medication is working. Heart problems are so sneaky, perhaps because they happen over time you kind of get used to feeling not so good. I'm praying the drugs will continue to work and you'll feel great soon!
Wanda - Highbeams! LOL!
Vicki - Loved your biking advertures. My trainer works with me on balance exercises because she says that as you age your balance mechanism kind of fails...leading to falls. I'm sure the bike will be good for this. Plus, your bike sounds perfect. I remember my big pink Schwinn that took me all kinds of places when I was a child.
Saw my Onc on Friday and had this conversation:
Onc (looking at my record): Are you dieting?
Me: No.
Onc (furrowed brow): You're not trying to lose weight?
Me: No.
Onc (deepening furrowed brow): Then I'm concerned. You've lost ten pounds since I saw you 6 months ago.
Me: No way!
It seems that when the nurse weighed me in she wrote down 126 instead of the 136 that showed up on the scale. With that corrected, the Onc deemed me healthy as a horse. HA!
Patty
-
Patty: Healthy horses!!! I would continually gain or lose 5 lbs. throughout my chemo and when I asked the nurse she said that one scale weighs 5 lbs. heavy!!
Yes, I'm hoping to be cruising around the RV Park starting tomorrow morning. : ) Thought I should practice my stops on grass first, however! I also found a great time to swim - I'm not fond of the sun, but about 5:00 the pool's completely empty, the sun is going down, and I can swim my laps all by myself and then sit in the jacuzzi for a few minutes and warm me up. Does 2 days in a row make a commitment? If so--- I'm committed.

Wanda - so good to hear from you! Glad you're all put back together again!! Good to hear from you!
Jane - Keep doing healthy things!!!
-
Hi to all of my BC sisters!! I have been absent due to being addicted to Facebook games and connecting with old high school friends. I think that I mentioned that I had my reconstruction and am now awaiting another 3 months to see if I can manipulate the two sides to even out....my radiated side is a little higher than the non-cancer side. I still have a fear of cancer spreading throughout my body because of the lymph node involvement and will be taking care of one test on Wed......the dreaded colonoscopy. I am glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well. The lunch get together sounded so awesome and I hope to be able to make it to Vegas in April. Please just keep posting the details...are DH's or SO's allowed????? I hope that you are all having a new year with a new beginning. Just told my SO tonight that June will mark 2 years of being diagnosed with cancer and the whole treatment drama. So thankful to be alive and yet so thankful to be on the "back side" of everything. Please keep posting......
Pamelajo....POST.

Hello September Sisters,
Just got back from Chicago on Saturday. Saw my first snow since 1988. Unfortunately, my dad passed away on the 9th. I was up there for a week. Made it up there about 2pm and he passed away that evening. I am glad I was there for my mom. They were married for 66 years. I keep on telling myself that he is much better off because he had no quality of life after 20 plus years with Parkinsons.
Just glad I was able to travel. Last year on chemo it would have been difficult.
Had my "nipple" surgery early December and am happy with the results. Not sure about the tatooing - doctor does not do it. Said eventually it will turn flush color. Just glad to be even

Jane sorry you have been going thru so much.
Wanda - still want to get together just been a little busy recently.
Las Vegas sounds wonderful but realistically I doubt I will be able to make it. We are going to have a memorial service for my dad in late April.
Love to all!!!
-
Barb T - I am so sorry for your loss, but glad to hear you were able to be there and to help your mom. If plans change for the end of April, we'd love to have you in Vegas, but in the meantime, our prayers are with you and your family.
Domegal - Congrats to you and Barb T and Wanda on your new body parts!!
Re: Las Vegas - My DH is coming (because we're driving and I don't want to drive 5 hours by myself) and others are welcome or not, you choose! Patty - any leads on a place to stay yet?
Ronnie - we need to hear from you again! Are you working too hard?????
Jane - Hope your heart is getting healthier and keeping "pace" with you!
I don't want to make anyone jealous, but this is our second day of near 80 degrees... AND my DH saw my dilemma with the bike and solved it! Patty knows how short I am, well the bike was too tall for me! So we took it back and replaced it with one that's 2" shorter and I am so much more confident on it : ) Very happy to be cruising on my bike... though it's not my favorite color, he put my basket on the front... so we'll be OK. AND I can stop the bike now because my feet actually touch the ground : ) Life is good.
-
Hello SOSisters.... hope this finds everyone doing well. I'm am on the mend and feeling better. Went and got my grey covered today and have actually decided to go wigless if I can half way duplicate the style my hairdresser did. Back to work on Monday. I have been pacing myself, not overdoing on anything.
Vickylynn - glad you got a shorter bicycle. Yes, I am jealous of your 80 degree weather. Sounds like you are having fun. How did the line dancing go? I did ask DH if he wanted to come to Vegas, I figured since he has been so stressed about me that it would be easier for him if he was close by. Actually hasn't answered my question yet, but I put it out there for him. It's a long, long flight from NC to Vegas.
Wanda - glad to hear you are doing well and your surgery is over. What a relief that must be. Will you be able to come to Vegas? I hope so!
Patty - so glad to hear you are healthy as a horse! I am so looking forward to Vegas. I want to start checking on airline tickets so do we have definite dates? Are we going for individual rooms, suites - do you need any help? I'm partial to the Mirage but open to anywhere. This is going to be so much fun!
DomeGal - so glad to hear you are going to try for Vegas. Glad your surgery is done. I realize how fortunate I was not to have to go through reconstruction. You ladies are so brave. I had a colonoscopy a few years ago, the preparation is worse than the procedure! Glad all was well.
Barb0323 - I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Losing a parent is difficult and it takes a while to get over the loss. I lost my mom 3 years ago and it still hurts. I'm sure you are worrying about your mother, do you have other family to watch over her?
Pamela Jo - please post. We are missing you and needing to know how you are. All the rest of our sisters, please send a short note. We just need to know you are okay!
Take care. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
Jane
-
Hello Girls!! Haven't been on for soooo loong:) Still trying to 'catch up' with everything...work especially, but busy life too:) Not all that pleased with exchange - surgeon wants another go at it...I'm considering second opinion first however:/ Glad to see that you all are staying in touch and even getting together in person!!! Beautiful!! We all are blessed and have been fortunate to have each other and this site while going through our experiences!!!
God Bless each of you!! I'll try to stay better in touch....when are you all planning Vegas?
Di Di
-
Didi! Good to hear from you. Please join us in Las Vegas! We're planning on April 29-May1. We drove through there once but it's been 20 years ago I think and we didn't even stop for dinner! But I hear there are lots of things to see and do (besides just gambling). I'm looking forward to lots of visiting most of all!! Oh... and chocolate.
Jane - glad you're feeling better and going wigless!!! That is a big step! The line dancing meets once a week and I'm going... I do get a bit worn out but since we're all over 55 in the class they've adapted the steps a bit for us and I can keep up. Plus we take LOTS of breaks between songs. I now know 5 different line dances : ) though I forget them every week.
-
How fun to sign on and see all the new posts. Good to hear from Barb T, DiDi and Domegal!
I fear I have failed to get going on the Las Vegas hotel search. We have our biggest event of the year next weekend which is keeping me way to busy, but after that is over I plan to get right on it. I like the Mirage too, Jane, so I'll check that out. Anybody else have druthers? We want to be on the Strip...right? Shall I check into suites?
I like to do a little gambling but other things I like even better in Vegas: 1) Spa afternoon (most of the hotels have wonderful spas); 2) See a show (I'll check out what's there and pricing); 3)Eat (lots of wonderful restaurants); 4) Pool time (Is it wrong to lay out in the sun now?); 5) Walking the Strip at night (water show at the Bellagio, etc). If my lunch with Vicki and Ronnie is any indication...we won't have problems filling hours with conversation!
Barb T - I'm so sorry to hear about your father. But so glad you made it there in time to spend his last few hours with him and to be with your mom.
Vicki - If the smaller bike doesn't work...how 'bout training wheels? HA!
Jane - Excellent to hear you are feeling better. Hooray for finally ditching (or seriously considering ditching) the wig. As Nike encourages....just do it! Even if your hair doesn't look as good at the wig (mine definitely does not), you'll get used to it really quickly. Oh...new "wigless" avatar please!
DiDi - Bummer on the exchange disappointment. A 2nd opinion definitely seems in order.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Patty
-
Hello SOSisters..... well day two, no wig. Had to buy a flatiron and will have to practice ironing the kinks out. Keep your fingers crossed I can do enough to not slap the wig back on! Husband took picture which I will try and post tomorrow, not great, but it's my real hair!
Didi - so glad you posted and that you are doing well. I'm with Paty, go for that 2nd opinion. Will you be able to come to Vegas? We are going to have so much fun!
VickiLynn - I've always wanted to line dance (DH isn't much for dancing). You'll have to teach me some steps! How's the bicycle riding going?
Patty - I would love to see "The Beatles - Love" with Cirq du Sol li (I know that's misspelled but hope you know who I mean). The music and performance are suppose to be wonderful. Depending on where everyone wants to stay the Mirage is reasonable and conveniently located on the strip. A girls day (or half a day) at the Spa sounds fantastic. Please let me know if I can help you at all.
I have decided I am going to pull out my list and beg all our sisters that haven't posted for awhile to please check in. I'm thinking maybe they still get on and read the posts but don't post anymore since it's been awhile for some of them. I just want to know everyone is okay and maybe we can get even more to join us in Vegas!
Everyone take care.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jane
-
hello my gorgeous SOS sisters,
firstly how wonderful to see so many beautiful heads of hair! Well done everyone. Lovely to read everyone's stories of how busy and happy people are.
Jane I was shocked by your news but glad you seem to have the heart troubles under control now. goodness me, the medical dramas just go on and on don't they? Good luck with the medication and I hope it continues to do the right thing for you.
Barb my deepest condolences on the loss of your dad. My dad is 86 this year and frailer as each month passes. I am bracing myself for him to go but I know it will still be devastating. A big hug to you.
Patty good news for you - so glad you don't have to worry about that lump. And hey, losing that weight 'magically'!!Wish I could do the same. My DH and I have returned from our summer travels about 5 kg heavier each (not sure what that is in pounds??) We chomped our way happily around Tasmania (it's known as foodies paradise) and realy need to concentrate on losing the extra weight now. back to walking, swimming, sensible eating.... sigh. That raspberry cheesecake in Tassie was sure delicious!!

DH and I had a good time away though both very tired now having traversed from north to south across 5 different states in the past month, performed at two music festivals and rediscovered our camping skills. I go back to work on Monday so trying to have a bit of a rest this weekend along with the laundry, cleaning etc...
In our journey we travelled through some of the parts of Queensland that have really copped the floods, in the week before the worst flooding occured. It is almost impossible to comprehend the amount and force of the water that destroyed towns and damaged large parts of Brisbane, Queensland's capital city. Many people have lost everything they owned - some lost their lives. It is all so tragic. Victoria, and Tasmania, two other states in the south, also had flooding - Victorian towns bracing for floods as I write this. It has been a most extraordinary summer in terms of weather. Most of easten Australia affected by floods or at least heavy rain, and in the west, bushfires!! Australia, like the USA, is a very big country, and it is times like this that we remember that.
-
Neece - I've been following the news of flooding and I'm sure that the TV doesn't adequately capture what's going on over there... Save your pennies and come to Las Vegas with us! If not in person, we'll have to arrange at least a group phone call!
Patty - I talked to my 6-year old granddaughter last week and I told her about my bike (her name is Violet - the bike's name, not my Granddaughter's) and she informed me that she took her training wheels off hers. Maybe I could have her mail them to me???
-
Oh Vickilynn how I would love to come to join you all this year! Not to be though. But I iwll be there in spirit at least.
-
Good morning SOSisters.... gloomy, rainy day in NC. But going to be in the 50's so I'm not complaining. Hope this finds all of you well and enjoying today. My cousin had her 1st chemo yesterday, doing good. She was so upbeat last night, I gently told her she might find herself getting tired as the days go by. I'm am so praying she has an easy time.
Go to cardio dr. tomorrow, they are going to put me on a heart monitor to wear for 24-48 hours. I shall be pretty cute sitting at my desk at work beeping! Feeling better everyday. Been telling everyone about how excited I am about the trip to Vegas. I am so hoping that alot more of our sisters will be able to join us. Neece I so wish you could join us. All of you will be with us in spirit and we will post photos, etc. and maybe get VickiLynn to write a long post about our trip.
Everyone take care. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jane
PS - BarbAnne41 - are you writing anymore stories?
-
Jane - please tell your cousin that there are women around the world (!) who understand and prayers are going up on her behalf. So glad you're feeling better. Hope they get answers - hope you don't look too "borgish" all wired in like that!
Neece - I really think we need to work out a phone call from us to you from Las Vegas... details to follow!
I think I use entirely too many !!!!!!
Went to a new dr. yesterday (too many miles to go to the other one up north). I found a lump - not in my breast, but above my sternum. Painful. He gave me antibiotics and a week to see what happens then if nothing changes I will go in to have it removed and tested. SIGH
Other than that ---- I'm doing well!!!!
-
Busy, busy, busy....but I wanted to pop in to wish myself happy one year anniversary of my LAST chemo!
I hope the lump is fixed with the antibiotics Vicki!
Patty
-
Celebrating with you Patty!
-
Hi SosIsters...in hospital again. Will have surgery either Monday or thursday. Seems mess aren't working. Will keep you posted.
Thoughts and prayers are with you. Jane
