Congrats Eli and all of you lovely ladies. I read every day but seldom post since I'm on the pretty far side of the "ish" age. Glad you had such a rousing party.
-
You ladies throw the BEST parties!
-
I may have to just call it a day. I must say though, that I am sure glad that I was able to get here before everyone went home. You gals are A-W-E-S-O-M-E!
I'll come by in the morning to help with the clean up - but you know what........
Goodnight my friends.... Don't stay up too late......You know what happens when you don't get enough zzzzzzz's
-
Hugh found that darn turtle again running towards the guac. I guess they do like their veggies!
-
It's really been a fun day, thanks to all of you.
I'll have one more and call it a night.
-
Darn! I knew those boots would give me a blister.
Guess I will have to have one more slice of Mick's cake and call it a night. Those that still want to kick up their heels, be my guest...the d.j. is a friend and he'll go until the wee hours. Would the last one to leave turn out the light?
-
How about some Coyote Droppings (for the uninitiated these are Carmelized Cheetos).
or chocolate covered Cheetos
-
Okay, I'm late to the party and had to skip several pages so pardon me if I didn't see prior posts and I'm repeating!
Here's a sampling of hub's ribs in pressure cooker - trust me, his are even better!
And this is my date for the party
Eli, I'll share him though, since it's only because of you that we have this wonderful, wonderful method of communicating with each other. Your post a few pages back was so touching, mentioning our sisters that we miss so very much. Thank you dear Eli for giving us this vehicle to share and love and bitch and gripe and rejoice, sometimes all in the same post. Love you sweetie.
Lastly, these guys said they'll serve our dessert whenever we decide what we want. Personally, I just want them!!!

I guess Hugh and I will call it a night, too. We had a great time.
Time to take my red Solo cups and retire to the hot tub with my date...
-
trying again...in order
-
Marlegal I've had a bunch that would not copy despite showing on my preview. Ahh see George has agreed to accompany you. Great choice. I think this could carry on into tomorrow. All these food pics have made me starving - off for real ice cream I think.
-
ah, yes...success
-
Oooh... nice, marlegal! Even better than my imagination!
-
Mmmm those ribs look good.
DH put his foot down about me bringing a date tonight, so unless he takes me up on my invitation to join us, I am here stag. I'll just hang out by the guacamole dish.
-
What a par-tay! You girls really know how to do it up! Glad I was able to make it. It's not quite 10PM here on the west coast & I think I still have a bit of energy left so I think I'll have this 2 join us.

How is everyone feeling this morning???
-
Wow, I think some of my sisters are having a hard time getting up this morning after all that partying.
-
LOL.....
-
I see that I missed one heck of a party.
-
Well, I'm here for clean up. Where is everyone??? I can see why Val & Dianarose might (and probably a few others) are not feeling so well this morning.
I think the industrial dishwasher will come in handy for this mess..........
-
I woke up this morning with a doozy of a headache and for the life of me I could not figure out why. Then I stopped by here again...
-
lol Loral
-
Relax ladies I hired these guys...
-
Wow! Everything is cleaned up so nicely. Now if Loral gets up off the lawn and the turtle finally staggers home, things will pretty much be back to normal. I'm glad a there were a few more who arrived fashionably late to partake in the par-tay. I'm doubly glad there were some late might five-star ribs delivered. Maybe I can pick on a few leftovers today.
We also made a good start toward our next 5,000 mark already.
Eph, I hope I can be a dancing queen in my elder years. I have a belief that if only we danced every single day, hip replacement would be a thing of the past.
Thanks, mar, for the approval rating. I have been good at getting people together my whole life, and I guess this is the cyber offshoot of that.
After being on here A LOT yesterday, I really need to give my eyes a rest today. I was starting to blur by the end, but some of that is the chemo drugs anyway. Think I will just take it easy and get ready for the big Bakery opening on Mon.

Minus Two, as long as you are "ish" in spirit, that is good enough for us
-
Hey, I'm a bit past the "ish" too but your only as young as you feel, right.
Great partay. I have had to put a 2nd pot of coffee on fur real.
OK who left their dog?
-
Definition of ish...near or about
