Nassau was not really something that was memorable. I went snorkeling, currents were very strong! Went to the straw market but didn't see anything special. There are other islands I liked better.

I agree. I was also there many years ago and remember the straw market was, okay. Others went snorkeling during the lunch cruise this trip but I don't have that interest. And it totally turned me off when they kept telling the snorkelers to not touch, brush up, stand on, etc., the reefs because of the living organisms covering them which will cause bad skin reactions.
Atlantis on Paradise Island is beautiful and great for families because there is so much to do, if you can afford $26.00/person for a breakfast buffet, $7.00 for a slice of pizza or $54.00 for steak at dinner. Those were typical prices although there were a few lower priced items. All-in-all it's not a 'budget' or 'moderate' priced resort. JMHO
