Happy morning Escapees.
Checkum, this is so exciting. I had no idea what the Expo thing you are going to was about. I must have missed the boat somewhere. So are you looking for a name? Do I understand that correctly?
And speaking of missed the boat, dang it all and holy muffin mix..........I was sure I'd sunk her (errrr I mean lost her). Darn darn darn. I'm not sticking my tender tootsies through any holes....have you guys never seen "Jaws"? LMAO!!!!!
Well ole #32 great to see you. Coonie I'm so glad I don't have to tell you that she'd gone the way of the Titanic
.
Happy Day all.

Checkum.....I'm Loving the Bandana Theme.....Or if you want to get Creative You can use Fabric Paint or Pens....on the Bandana's! They are Water Proof...Sew a Few Sequins or Beads to it! I'm Sure Faith can add some Ideas!!!! Oh the Mind is Turning this Morn!
-
Checkum....I got another Idea....You could put together 4 PINK Ribbons or Even White Or Make it out of Fabric to make your own Ribbon Tie in a Big Bow at top of Your Tent.....Each ribbon coming down a corner of the Tent (hence the 4 needed). Each Person who Sends you a Bandana can add 2 Safety pins so the Bandana's can be attached to the ribbon & Shown in all their Glory like many flags in a row...... Just a thought!
Just a Bunch of Ideas running around in my head! Take Em or Leave Em but I had to get the Clutter OUT! LOL!
-
I think what would be 'cool' is to have as many bandana/flags 'personalized' by as many people as possible. People putting their hometown/homestate.... on it.
How long do we have to cook this muffin mix??
-
I LOVE the bandana thing too! It all looks so neat! This is gonna be FUN FUN FUN!! gotta run now...will be back later
-
Um, guys, you do know that your feet don't go in the water, right? You do know that you pedal just like a tricycle, right?
Bandanas are cheap to mail !!!!!!! I think we should NOT be allowed to use "pink ribbon" ones as everyone else will do that. I like Julz idea as they do that in Tibet and the Himalayas around their towns and it is just stunning!
-
Julz - ya ya ya
-
I would need all bandanas shipped to me by June 26th ---- that will give me some time to figure out how to do a ribbon with them all --- etc. ... pass the word to all of our sistas this will be fun. I think we should also have bandanas for our angels --- I think I put one up that might be appropriated....
Oh this is going to be sooooooo much fun!!! I think name/hometown are the only "requirements" the rest is up to your own creative ideas....
For those who want to send a bandana - I will PM my address - I am kind of hesitent to post it on the board...
-
I would like to send you one from Canada. Please PM me (totally understood!)
-
As far as color - creativity --- have at it --- I think we are all in sync on the bandana idea.
-
I think we should fold them (sew or stick um) like Julz's pic up there... that will give more room...
-
feel free to let others on other boards -- get into the action !
-
LOL --- this will be fun!!!!!! I have asked DD and DH for a nice digital camera so that I can take lots of pics for all you to enjoy...
-
I'm Loving this Escapees! So Fun, Supportive, & Creative! UNIQUE! Each One with Our Own Personality!
Jo....Your Idea is Great....Simplify it! Make it Easy to Put Together! I will do some digging Today & tomorrow for some Ideas for the Bandana ....Dimensions So that if anyone wants to make their own out of scraps of cloth ....(for our sewers) We Know How Big....If thats OK with you ALL!
Gotta go get some Sleep to get some things done today!
-
I think it's great too!! My DD will have to help me, but she's good at that kind of stuff!! Sooooo much fun!!!
Hey Barbe........you mean our feet won't have to get wet at all
hehe, I was thinking I needed to put on some of those floppers that go on your feet:)
Julz......get some sleep........sweet dreams:)
-
I tried to sink #32 for a reason Barbe........(don't tell Coonie.)
So what are we making now? I'm still back to the post where I'm worried about Jaws.
-
Sharon I just can't believe you would want to harm #32 in any way....all the joy we've gotten out of that, er ummm......boat? And it's so, wel.....ummm unique....in it's own kinda way
Jo great ideas. Hey, what time are we leaving? You picking us up, or what? I'm packed and waiting. I'm a little leary of traveling on my faith 32 'cause it sounds like Sharon's got it booby trapped........hehee "booby" trapped..........that has a whole new meaning to me now:)
-
-
-
Jo, I'll use my usual mode of transport. See you there.
Cute van though.
-
Jo!!!!! That's so coooool! How did you get that "escape" on your car??
If you would just put a luggage rack on top, I'll ride there. Don't mind the wind.......don't have much hair right now anyway:)
-
-
Coool Checkum!! Thanks!! I've been looking at the other links today too:)
-
Oh Gosh Jo!!! That's one of my favorite shows! I'd love sitting in the rocking chair. Better make sure we have some tie wraps or something to hold me on good
-
OMG Checkum..........I'm in tears. You've mentioned our names. I'm speechless...........
Hugs.
-
CHeckum,
PM me your address. I would llove to send one!
-
Gosh, I wish I understood what we are going to send. Help!! I know I'm a bit thick.........please don't point out the obvious
-
