    I had a tornado go over me while I was driving home on Thursday. Didn't know it hit the area of my work until Friday! I TOLD my DH it was a horrid drive home! Surprised

    Was the worst drive I had ever made in my life. Water was up to the top of my tires in some spots on the highway. Unbelievable!

    Bill will be coming about 100 miles off shore from Cape Cod.  I think we will get lots of tropical downpours and some winds. Nothing serious, it's too far off shore.

    Barb, We had tornado warnings in MA too. I can only imagine what your ride home was like.

    Today's our day to celebrate my DH's birthday (which was actually earlier this month when we were away from one another.)

    You gals are so funny. I've been reading the last few pages. This is a very quick and witty bunch:) I've missed you all.

    Made it home safe and sound last night...........after a HORRIFIC ride from Texas to Louisiana on what seemed to be a CROPDUSTER plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I looked in the cockpit when I was getting on, and I promise those boys didn't look older than 18 years old. The plane made quick turns, big dips, SWERVING on the runway taking off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREEAAATTT GOOOOOGA MOOOOOOGA!!! Thank God I'm home:)

    So sorry for those in the path of Bill. He's a long way from us. We get the remnants of storms in the Gulf of Mexico. Gustav was our last big one and we're hoping and praying we don't have another.

    Sharon!! I hope your sis is ok!!!! And everybody else that's going through it.

    Yup......our plane had propellers and all!!! Overhead lights kept coming on and going off.......all by their self!! Air conditioning DID NOT work..........whewwwwwwwwww. There's no place like home.

    Thanks for the Warning Coonie I was Just about to go find the Camera stuff to upload the Grand Baby Escape I had the other day!!!! Hey Girly Friend I am so Glad you Got HOME!!!     Hi ladies.... I have really been out straight this weekend.  Moved DD back to school on Saturday, did all the things I need to do today to get ready for Surgery on Monday... house is clean, canned tomatoe sauce and corn chowder base.  Phew - I think I am ready.  The good news is, I haven't had a chance to be nervous. Wink
