Thinking Out Loud.....

My condolences to LuvRVing's family and friends.
Have fun with the baby shower, Sheila. Are they going to find out what sex the baby is?
I worked out in the yard Saturday but wore out quickly when the temperature was 80°. Over night the temps are down in the low 40s. -
I met her 3 to 4 times and the first time I met her it was like I always knew her. I will cherish the memories and the photo's I have of us at Pickity Place and the Glenview Pub. -
Sorry Deb
(((Meece)))
(((TOL))) -
Thank you, Sheila. It means a lot. -

Oh my! We have a club member who is a retired teacher. When she retired about 5 years ago, she stopped wearing bras and many times she comes to our meetings wearing pjs. Most women (this one in particular) SHOULD wear a bra at all times! -
I have always remembered a woman who desperately needed her bra but didn't wear one - I won't be the retired lady without one. But I have been known to do drive-through Starbucks in my pj's -
OOPS.....No bras in the house and i know I need it
won't go out without one except taking the garbage
Warm and rainy day.....can do a lot but didn't start anything yet
Everything is quiet here the way it should be...
I stopped thinking too much...so far it's working and no extra anxiety pill was needed
Meece thinking of you sending hugs from NY
Diane...Also thinking of you and sending hugs
((TOL)) hugs -
I used to wear a bra 24/7..
Used to
Before the beast
Then I wore the harness 24/7.
Now I don't sleep with the bra anymore
Dr said to air out those girlies.
Hi everyone. -

(((TOL)))
Been traveling and working and sleeping...and eating chocolate.
I am so sad to hear about LuvRVing...I remember her from another thread...Deb sorry you have lost a friend. It's been a tough year.
Sheila, glad you are BACK and now you must stay...I've always said try not to look too far down the road - you can't really see anything anyway...focus on today and the miracles it brings. As Ducky said, you have held us together for a long time on the Stage 1 thread...and we don't forget. You are one of a kind
Sandy, glad your cardio test is OK. Praying for your next test...wish you didn't have to do this stuff...hugs for you.
Seeing my granddaughters brough me peace and joy. I'm getting used to the drive and made it in much shorter time last week end. I go again on the 15th and can't wait to see them.
Wishing everyone a good day and week end. It's cooling down here...leaves still looking pretty. -
((Sheila))
I wear a bra until I am ready for bed. I don't think I have ever gone out in public without one since I was a teen. Never out in public in jammies, not even in my car.
We are still having warm temperatures and only 10% chance of rain next week. We really need rain, it is so dry here if we have another bad dry year they may start rationing water. -
hey Meece....would you like some Philly rain.......we gave plenty, along with the cold and wind......bbrrrrrrrr. -
Cold here...not so much rain yesterday. We've had to water our newly planted trees constantly...I think we are losing 2 or 3 of them.
I get to stay home this week end for a change...contractor was supposed to finish odds and ends on my bath tomorrow but he canceled. I am kind of glad to have the day...many things to do. I am thinking of no alarm in the morning...
Happy week end! -
Went to the LA Convention Center Cash & Carry Christmas show today. Weather in the high 70s and you wouldn't believe all of the people in convertibles with the tops down. Not a cloud in the sky, hardly holiday mood weather. -
Hey everyone!Nov 5th was my five-year mark.........
As I said on another thread, I really don't know what to think about it.......
I didn't even realize the date until I had to sign & date the release form at Medical Records at the hospital that morning. And I did mention it to a casual aquaintance at WalMart, of all places - to a gal I only know by her first name. I had to say something to my DH that night first....... but, I have to give him a pass as he was in extreme pain. He had taken a bad fall into a muddy ditch while walking back from hunting. What a night that was, & the next day, as well. He ended up with a separated shoulder! In a sling.......taking Motrin & Vicadin.... poor guy. He hugged me so hard when I brought it up, I was afraid I'd hurt him more.
But I do want to tell every one of you how much you mean to me.
♥

(((Val))) Five years - you deserve that big hug. So glad you are doing well. And glad we can meet up here.
Joining you in the Happy Dance! -
val.......great news -
Congratulations, Val!!! -
congrats Val on your 5 years....
never wear a bra unless I have a white top on...
shiela tell about the shower, colors, favors, etc....so happy for you
Meece, Diane, Deb,, Chris thinking about you
thanks for all your kind thoughts, now have to go to a thorstic surgeon on thursday they think it is the chemo that is doinf it to my lungs, whatever that means, it is working, not getting better but not getting worse...
-
oh Val...I'm sooo happy for you.
Congrats a million times
This is the best news I have heard today
Love and miss u
Xoxoxo FireKracker.... -
Hi FireKracker...happy end of week end.
(((Sandy))) It just seems to be taking so long for you to get to the bottom of the lung issue. I hope you are hanging in there and that the thoracic doc will have a plan to relieve your symptoms.
Back to work tomorrow...yup the college is open on Veterans Day and I don't get that at all.
My DH is off - he is retired from military ...wish we could spend the day together. Today I slept in the afternoon...was sad about not being in MA at my grandaughter's birthday party. But I will see them again on Friday. We did Facetime (first time for me) and it was fun to see the girls.
I hope this week I can be positive about all the good things.
Hugs all around" />
-
Congrats on 5 years, Val! Sorry about DH - I hope he heals quickly.
I hope the thoracic surgeon has something to help you, Sandy.
Meece - I hope you get some rain - not too much, just enough - so no rationing.
(((((TOL))))) -
Thanks everybody for the congrats! Seriously, between us gals hereI think if I thought too deeply about that particular milestone, I might lose it, you know what I mean??
Loved the Happy Dance, Joan! They've got some groovey moves there! Does anybody say "groovey" anymore??
Great to see you ducky & Chris! (The DH is very upset that his shoulder will keep him out of the woods for several weeks.)
Continuing to keep good thoughts for you, Sandy. Come'on doctors, let's get this figured out for our dear sister here!! She needs some answers.
I'll write soon, K. I know I owe ya one! ♥
Oh, yeah.... I'm in the club of: I always wear a bra until I go to bed & never have gone out in public without one. Never go out in my jammies, as Meecie said, not even in my car. Meecie - loved the cake!! Delish!! And no calories, How. Did. You. Know??
Me thinks the new emoticons are a bit strange......... only like 2-3 of them.
-
I guess they put the thumbs up or down here because Facebook is getting rid of the thumb for "like". That thumbs found their way here where they know we'll give them a good home. I liked the old emoticons because it actually said what emotion they were conveying when you ran the cursor over them. With these it only shows what you'd use if you were only using the keyboard. -
Meece....I've been reading this thread for a while today because the weather is nasty and snowy. I did not fine the post where you told of your MRI report, back in August I believe. You were so good about posting all your testing and then it was like missing a weekly TV show finally....... I'm sure all went well after the horrible IV pockingBut I'm curious anyway.
Hugs, Artsee -
Hey Val, we can say whatever we want...groovey, cool, far out, whatever...
Hope DH feels better soon.
Meece, where are the thumbs on BCO?? Am I missing them?
I noticed FB got rid of their dislike option.
I guess I can't keep up...I still can't get an avatar back on here...will try again soon.
Niteall,
J -
Artsee, I've had three MRIs in the past four months, breast no results so that means everthing okay, the two brain mris show damage from chemo, but nothing serious thankfully. Thanks for caring.
Joan, the thumbs are in the "smiley" menu. -
Meece...Thank the Lord...I'll bet that was a nerve wracking experience for you. I've had my share of scans and the waiting period is
so stressful.
Having a bad bout with low back pain that is putting me into that 'mindset' again. Ugh....
Thanks for the info on the......did not know that was there. This is my first day dealing with Windows 8. Oh Boy!
-
artsee....love your hair....
