HOT HOT HOT!!! Already!! 97 today with heat index over 100! Tomorrow will be 99! Yikes! We are having another pool party today for my sons 17th bday. UGH! To freaking hot for this!! Thanks for the reminder Diane, can't wait cuz it's not here now!!
(((Sandy)))
-
Yes yes yes......When I woke up thought i was in a cave....
Happy Birthday to your son Linda
Good wishes that you survive today in this heat...i know it sounds like a miracle to you but I agree with Diane...one day whenever that will be they will appreciate everything you are doing.......right now it's a different story
Diane.....we didn't chat for a while.....sorry for your finger.....how is precious Shelby doing.....I missed her pictures on FB......
Deb...you must be going to a bittersweet time.....♥.....Is Rebekah here?
(((TOL))) Good Morning
-
Sheila - Shelby is coming to show me her first little budding tooth later today
Will post a picture after that.
Linda - Not only will your boys appreciate it, but their friends will remember later as well. My kids friends always visit to this day, and a few started calling on Mother's Day when they were about 25 or so.....:)
-
Blah - I can't breathe it's so hot already. I was chilly yesterday and now I'm melting.
-
Glad you are exercising Diane - I haven't been out the last 2 days and now it's so hot, I don't know how much more I'll do this week. Maybe you can exercise for me?
I didn't know you could have a trigger thumb. Hope they fix it up for you.
Linda -Happy Birthday to DS - hope everyone has a good time at the party - they should enjoy the pool today!
Sheila - I don't like to cook - partly because I'm no good at it - but also because I hate the clean-up! Hope you got the big pans done before the heat came this morning.
Sandy -hope your kids enjoy the graduation party. I know DD can be moody about these things (which of course ruins them for me) but she usually ends up having a good time - hope the boys do too. Do you have a new place in mind for when you have to make the change?
((((((TOL)))))))
-
Ouch!! Those chin splits bleed alot!!! Hope she is better! Your DD is a good friend.
My DS just got hired by Natick Labs for his senior year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Linda...forgot to congratulate your son about his new job......
The light at the end of the tunnel started to shine......
Maybe one day i will never freeze again and live happily....lalalalalalalalalalalalalala
-
Linda....Big confusion here....can't figure out who is who on FB
-
Those are mainly pictures of his friends. The boyholding the flaming cupcake is my baby.
-
The girl in the blue sundress is (I think) his new girlfriend......and her name is SHELBY!!!! UGH!!!! No offense Diane!!
-
Thanks....
Handsome baby...i almost didn't recognize him....he's grown so much
-
Linda...............I love the ocean too, which is close to my house, but when all the "freaks" come, its nice to be able to leave and go back home to the pool................My pool is inground........it is 20X42 feet. It can be a headache if you can't get down to tend to it.......like this past weekend.....my one daughter couldn't go (graduation), my other daughter went to Chicago to see her boys, so no one went down to put the chemicals in, or make sure the water level was ok............I'm sure it fine, but its a worry when your not there....................actually the whole friggin idea of a "home away from home" gets to be a pain in the ass................oh well, guess I should be glad I have it......................but at my age, no husband, I have to depend on my 2 daughters and their husbands to do it all................the other 4 either have their own "shore home", or don't care.....................
-
I hear you Ducky!! My parents have a house on Cape Cod, that's where I grew up, thats why I LOVE the ocean!! I never wanted an inground pool because I was afraid someone would drown. My neighbor is 17 and autistic, he shows up everywhere! I love the kid but it always scared me. Now, I would love a real pool. We are having a company out this summer to look into it. We'll see! The maintenance is a pain and expensive!
-
Well I hope your son's shelby is a good girl . I felt the tooth tonight - so silly but it made me so excited. Also fed her salmon for the first time. She is 7 mos tomorrow.
Linda - we had an inground pool at our previous home. OMG, so much work and expense. I think that was part of DH's reason to move.
Chris - I dd some weights for you today but only on the right sde Had three inajections on the left side. Fingers crossed tat my triggers diminish significantly.
-
I'm melting!!!
Went to my Dad's place and put all his video's in boxes, picutures off the wall and clothes in big bags to be donated. My brother took care of the furniture and his walker, shower chair and the attachment to his walker when he fell and broke his wrist will go back to the drugstore and sold as used. The family took some things to remember him by. It was kind of a closure for me today, I thought I would go over there and ball my eyes out to see an empty apartment.
-
I still have lots of reading to catch up on, but I want to stop right now to send my sincere condolences to you, Deb. I am blessed to still have both of my parents and cannot imagine what you are going throughSo, I will just say that I am so sorry for you loss and pray that the pain will ease and you will be comforted by memories of good times you shared with your father.
I spent 5 days with my little Patch. We celebrated his first birthday and I hugeed and kissed on him non-stop.
-
Welcome home Meece....God Bless little Patch....you had some concern that he wouldn't recognize you..what happened.....
It's only 10 am and I don't know what i'm gonna do with myself all day long......of course i can clean
or other productive stuff but don't feel like it...
I was thinking if I take the bus and go to the mall won't be a bad idea...AC in the bus and in the Mall
I don't know....i think it's time to have my coffee.......♥
today it's really hot and humid already...well better than winter
-
Same here Sheila. It's like thick soup out there!
All pools are tough to maintain and expensive. The chemicals and constantly vacuuming and brushing. Gotta do it!
((((Deb))))
Glad you spent the time with Patch! So much fun!
-
