Thinking Out Loud.....

Ok, who needs another.................Ducky story to brighten your day, I told my kids, one said she was LMAO, and near peed her pants...........the others just roared.......
I decided to make more scone..........have been making it every week and giving some and keeping some.........ok
Yesteray I bought a brand new 5 lb bag of flour..............I have a Lock n Lock container that I keep it in........filled it yesterday to the brim.............this container has a small "flap" in the front to lift for small amounts when you want it.......or you can take the entire lid off...............ok....................well I went to take it off the 2nd shelf of the cabinet,.............apparently when I filled it yesterday after putting the top back on the little flap must have opened, and I didn't realize it...................went into the cabinet to take down the flour, didn't realize the little flap was open, tipped it forward.........................result
I LOOK LIKE F/N "FROSTY THE SNOWMAN", AND MY KITCHEN LOOKS LIKE IT WAS JUST HIT BY THE F/N "BLIZZARD OF 2012.............................my life is like a "bad novel".................................
-
Did you take a picture?!! Ducky the Snowman! LOL
Sorry it happened, though. (((((((Ducky)))))))
-
Worst thing was, I was covered in flour, and didn't know what to do...........it was all over my sneaks, so if I walked I left a trail of flour...........so
I folded my shirt up to my neck to cradle the 1 lb of flour that was clinging to it, took off my sneaks, walked ot the back slider, opened it, and stuck my "chest" out the door, and shook the hell out of the shirt...........that worked, pulled my shirt down, stepped outside on the deck, and brushed off my pants (another lb of flour)...................and came inside.
I know now what I will look like with all white hair.......................hope flour is good for the skin, cause my arms and face were covered in it too.
Got the vacumn, went around the kitchen and the breakfast room, like Hanzel and Gretal following the trail to the way back home....................my kids said "only you Mom"...............................but the scone is good.............................hahahaha
Just heard the police in Drexel Hill, are looking for some old woman who is exposing herself to the neighbors, from her back deck...........2 of the neighbors are being treated at the ER for "sudden blindness".....................Better go shower off the evidence..........wasn't me.

I still have 2 weeks B4 I celebrate. What I will do is celebrate twice, March 23rd and May 4th.

Ducky, HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
-
Ducky! Hahahhahaha!!
-
Ducky, you are a riot. If we all could get together we would have a BLAST!
-
Ducky......I'm started to believe that all these weird stuff are just happening to you so we can have a good laugh....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA
Thanks
-
I think you need your own sitcom. You should be making money off all this crap that happens to you!
-
Oh BTW I passed my MH day.
-
I feel crappy. Have had a sinus thing going on for a couple weeks. Not sure if it will go away on its own. Guess if it's still bothering me on Monday I should see the Dr and beg for an antibiotic. I've always been given a hard time when I seek meds for my sinuses. And I don't go that often.
One of the turtles died.
They were afraid he might be sick - he wasn't as active as the other one. And the light and the filter aren't working. Why is everything such crap? You can't buy anything anymore.
-
Glad you passed your MH day!
-
Ducky - at least you caught it! The last mess I had that took over my life for awhile was cat puke EVERYWHERE because I walked through it then set the laundry basket on it, didn't see it.
Good idea, Deb, I always say celebrations need to last all week.
Today Hubby of 31 1/2 years got his new ears, he can hear me whisper when I am walking away from him and he doesn't even know I am trying to talk to him. It is wonderful. Now to break my habit of complaining because he doesn't hear me and saying things I should not just because I could get away with it when he could not hear me. eeeeee, I'll try but he says he won't be mad.
Today I am back to work in home office on home computer. Hubby went back to work after 13 days of vacation.
- Today I will prepare the groundwork for a website for the hearing specialist, already paid in full, yippee. 2 hours
- Today I will write a safe for pets fertilizer webpage for my own business. 1 hour
- Today I will post a short story from my book on my exotic pets in honor of our deceased skunk Blossom (last week, she had to be helped over the Skunkie Bridge, heartbroken). one hour
- Today I will spend one hour only searching for a new home, quickly and efficiently.
- Today I will spend one hour only on bc.org in conversation.
- Today I will spend 1/2 hour on bc.org in research on LE which I now have.
- Today I will take all my meds and supplements
- and take a walk with Danny Boy our dog
- and hold our other skunk this evening
- and brush dog after Lacey wants down.
Get ready, let me begin!Take care ladies, it is a lovely day in NW IN, lovely! In like a lamb, out like a lion though.
My mom always reminded me I was born in a blizzard on March 25 and needed to wear my coat at the beginning of March because it would prove it was not spring yet.
-
You go Essa!
-
Oh Essa........................I can't imagine Cat puke..............cleaned up enough dog puke in my day, but never owned a cat.............guess puke is puke right..................
-
Ducky...Did you get rid off the mickey??????????
Essa....Are you on break yet?
OOH chris...so sorry for the turtle......once my bird died and i was in mourning for a while. We even had a service at the beach and buried her there.
Edited to say sorry chris i meant turtle not frog

So sad when pets die. I'm kind of glad I have allergies and don't have any furry pets. I asked DD what the teacher did with the turtle - does she have a morgue? DD thought she just threw it away. I said they should have had a funeral. DD said maybe they will have a memorial service next week. They were very sad that poor Hermie died.
I actually have a morgue in my freezer. Sick, I know. DD adopted African dwarf frogs after they studied them in 4th grade (remember, she is a senior now). One by one they died and then we got more. Eventually they all died off and I didn't get more. When the first one died, I thought she would want to have a funeral so I put it in a ziploc in a small margarine container in the freezer. We didn't have a funeral right away, but I kept it. One by one, I added them to the "morgue." I still have it. We should have a funeral and bury them. Or something... Good thing we didn't have dogs...
Actually, I did offer them to DD for Biology club for dissection/autopsy...DD declined. The frogs are so small, I don't know if they would know what they were looking at. But they would have been free.
-
It's time to have an orange and watch some TV........
-
Sorry about the turtle. Remind me not to eat frozen margarine while visiting! WOW!! That's a long time!! I have many, many pets buried in my back yard.
Enjoy the orange!

-
It is 1047pm
Ducky you are so funny!!! Guessing you went to Delaware county for the mammo, and so happy for you.
Deb I am so confused about the cancerversary?
No Deb haven't heard from her
chris....you need to take a chill pill, you will be having a heart attack!!!
Great you made it though the MH day, are you counting down til Hawaii day!!
Sandy
-
How're you doing, Sandy? Infection gone, I hope.
Heart attack - probably not - I think my cardiovascular system is still in pretty good shape from all the running I've done over the years. Nervous breakdown, maybe...
I don't know about the cancerversary - some people go with diagnosis date - some people go with surgery date when cancer was removed. I think I would go with diagnosis date - that's the beginning date to me - surgery, chemo, rads, hormonals are all part of treatment.
