Thinking Out Loud.....

I love the improvements they've made with these radar maps. This tells me exactly what is going on with the weather.
-
Sheila.............pouring here in Drexel Hill.............crappy day, but what the hell it helps "green up the lawn", and "grows the flowers"................now how is that for finding the "bright side"............I have a pot of soup on......but it is for my son...........maybe I will sneak a bowl later......looks so good.
Christ, the knee is ok today, considering the weather is shitty..............but I'll tell you, I really twisted the hell out of it yesterday............sometimes after that happens it feels better after the initial "shock" of the pain......................maybe it loosens up some "scar tissue", or puts the frigging thing back to where it belongs..........who the hell knows, but it is a constant with this knee........my son wants me to get the Synvisc shot..........or inquire about the new "stem cell" thing going on that replaces cartlidge............like that's gonna happen.........he said "well the Synvisc shot only hurts like hell for about 1 minute, and then its fine...............I said "good, well its the 1 minute I'm concerned about............A needle directly into the joint......don't t'hink so.
Going out to dinner with #1 son tonight............this has become a weekly thing now, and I do enjoy it.................although if he bags tonight, I won't be upset, with the shitty weather......it is a fuzzy robe, and slipper ;night here.
Saturday my great-grandaughters will have their 1st brithday.........Big Bash................Our little Grayson is coming along, not nearly as much as her sister is doing, but I see progress................still want to beat the shit out of the Dr. who delivered her, but I must remain calm..........that were the orders.....I got..

Snowing quite a bit here. Guess we will curl up with the computer and books as long as the power doesn't go out.
-
Sounds like a perfect vacation Meece. I am jealous of Hawaii too!
Snowing here now.
-
Heard New England is going to get whacked............we dodged the bullet again with the snow....sooner or later we are going to get bit in the ass...............but I shouild have figured it would be a warm winter.......................I had my system drained at the shore house........first time in 23 years. ;usually left the heat on low, but with the past 2 winters I got hammered with the bill, so thought.................this winter I'm gonna drain the system.
Ok $160.00 for a Plumber to drain the system, and in May another $160 to prime the system to start up..................Friggin weather was so warm, I'll bet I would not have used $100. all winter.................oh well........hind sight is 20/20..............but I'm still pissed..............
-
Hope your knee stays feeling better.
Hope everyone enjoys their soups and robes and slippers on this stormy day.
-
-
Thank you Ducky for draining the system! THAT is why we are having such a mild winter! Although it's snowing here, I don;t think it will amount to much more than an inch. I think Deb's area is going to get nailed!! Fire up the snow blowers Deb!
-
Some rain....and that's it.
Meece...Can you share a picture of Patch
Hawaii was wonderful for the last 2 times but this time well
-
Soccer at 9 tonight. I hate the late night games!
-
We just have an inch right now.
-

I'm so glad you are having a great time.
Rebekah is coming home in June, I want to have a small party for her and family that will not be able to get to the UK.
Any ideas?
I can't spend too much money cuz we are trying to save for the trip. Maybe a small catered party in our house.
-
Sandy...i'm glad you are having some adult time.
Deb....Mother of the Bride it sounds like a good idea to have a party. Rebekah will be a beautiful bride...I can't wait for the pictures.

It's not going to be a shower because this is her second marriage, it's just a family get together for those who can not afford to go and of course my Aunt and Uncle will not be able travel because of my handicap 46 yo cousin. She was in a very bad car accident when she was16 and has brain damage. She can't fly and has short term memory lost.
-
Any ideas?
-
Sandy, glad you have some time away. I'm doing great today. I love Chocolate!!!
-
Ducky, is your son doing any better?
-
Hoping all your family members are doing better today!
-
Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm.
Patch last month.
-
BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for sharing!
-
Judy, the one heading toward "divorce" is doing ok, I guess..........he doesn't say much, in fact he doesn't say anything to me........I just know he is very troubled......this has put him in such a state it is ridiculous...............I hope and pray he comes out of this on top......at least he still has 3 of his 4 children living in the house with him.......the "bitch" left, many times, my son never did..........but our family has a saying.......THE SUN NEVER SHINES ON 1 DOGS ASS. I'm not a vengeful person, but her day will come.........................You don't mess with my kids, I don't care how old they are .................
The son I go to dinner with is the oldest (I have 3 boys, and 3 girls)...........the youngest is going through the divorce, then there is a middle son.....he is the one who rebuilt the house I have been living in for 1 year............downsized, and he redid the place inside, and out, top to bottom....new everything........Funny thing, people have said to me "if you ever decide to move, here is my phone number, I am interested in your house............I thought, kidding right...............
So here we are at the beginning of another month...........after the rain here, the sun is shining, and it looks like a glorious day.................hope you all have the same sun we have here......................hugs.
-
Patch is beautiful Meece ♥
