DD is still recuperating from her umbilical hernia repair. We've been quite the pair. It's like a hospital ward around here. I want to tell people we were in a car accident - easier to explain than the real reasons. DD is currently at Supercuts having her hair washed and trimmed and having her eyebrows done. (I'm too cheap to spend a lot of money on haircuts.) Not sure if she's going to school tomorrow - her abdominal muscles still hurt. Hopefully she will start feeling a lot better soon. I'm getting concerned about how long she will have to wait before she can play her trumpet again. Dr. said a week - hope it isn't too much longer. I will kick myself for not waiting until after the January concert if she has to go too much longer without playing. But I was afraid the hernia could affect her ability to play for the concert. Tough call. Dr. did say there was fat coming through the hernia - which is kind of funny since she is so skinny. (hope I didn't already tell this story...)

Rebekah and Nick sent us a Christmas card and in it was SAVE THE DATE, Saturday, August 25th 2012, to Celebrate the Marriage of Nick Nebard and Rebekah Lazarou in Harrogate, Yorkshire, UK.
