    BAKED CINNAMON APPLES

4 baking apples (Rome, Beauty, Golden Delicious)
4-8 tbsp. granulated or packed brown sugar
    4 tsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

Core apples and pare 1 inch strip of skin from around middle of each apple or pare upper half of each to prevent splitting. Place apples upright in ungreased baking dish. Place 1-2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon butter and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon in center of each apple. Pour water (1/4 inch deep) into baking dish.

Bake uncovered at 375 degrees until tender when pierced with fork, 30-40 minutes. (Time will vary with size and type of apples.) Spoon syrup in dish over apples several times during baking if desired. 4 servings.

I have some of those little dishes you put the apple in, it has a center post that you insert or press the apple on.

Deb...Thank you for answering my help. I will make them tomorrow. I can cook but I don't really know how to bake, DD  (one in NY) is a chef she used to make all kind of breads and pastry.

She used to cook and bake for us and I used to clean the kitchen after. She makes all fancy things. She worked for Westchester Country Club in NY for few years, anyway.

    How is everybody today?  Smile

I hope you all had a nice day too.

I know what you mean.  I have antianxiety meds to take if I need them.  Good luck with your scan.  What kind are you having done?  Try and get some sleep.  I will be thinking of you.

Kbug.... Sending you big <HUGS> take them with you tomorrow

I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Sometimes I think going for tests, waiting fot the results is more draining than the chemo itself. Glad you have a good day today.

When was your last pet scan?  Does it shrink? Do you have measurements from the last time?  You don't have to answer if you don't want to.  I'm curious.  I always think I should be having more tests done when I hear others are.

I'm happy to hear they shrink.  I will pray that they shrink for you.  Yes, I wish it would leave you alone, I wish it would leave all of us alone.  Best of luck tomorrow.
